Chapter 95: 89: Seeing the Tathagata, Why Don't You Kneel!

Chapter 95: Chapter 89: Seeing the Tathagata, Why Don’t You Kneel!

Master Yuanci, kneeling with tears in his eyes, was not putting on a show.

Rather, upon seeing the full façade of the Floating Illusion Temple, he was moved by the mysterious hints from this main building.

He hadn’t even entered the main hall yet when he was influenced, coupled with the light projected by Su Ping, making Master Yuanci see the Dharma Aspect of the Tathagata standing solemnly above the temple silently watching him.

In a moment of excitement, he lost his composure and tears flowed.

Such techniques of preaching through architecture or paintings, aligned with the favorable conditions of time and place, were not unfamiliar to Master Yuanci.

During the feudal era, several people who understood the essence of these methods won the favor of powerful families and even emperors, leading to significant constructions, leaving their mark in history.

...

Yet Master Yuanci had experienced various mysterious events in this one day and night, and now continuous assaults of mysteries from the Immortal Boat and Floating Illusion Temple.

His mental defenses had long been penetrated countless times!

“Human leader, wake up… it’s time to go to the main hall.”

The Ghost Envoy floated over and approached Master Yuanci, reminding him aloud.

This voice also interrupted Master Yuanci’s self-induction.

The golden light Dharma Aspect of the Tathagata he saw before gradually returned to the normal splendid scene of the Cloud Sea in golden light.

This landscape, combined with the majestic temple, was still heart-stirring, but its impact was no longer as intense as before.

Master Yuanci nodded, wiping his tears with his sleeve at the same time,

Master Yuanci suddenly found that the air in this place was unusually clean and fresh.

With each breath he took, it seemed to improve his spirit significantly.

“This place must indeed be a Holy Land of true Cultivation of my Buddha, just like those Grotto Heavens and Blessed Lands mentioned in the Taoist Temple.”

“It’s just I wonder if our Holy Land is still here, do their Blessed Lands still exist?”

The closer to the true mystery,

the more Master Yuanci realized that all those with renowned status and realization he knew were merely counterfeit cultivators!

In the past, Master Yuanci would consider others’ status and insights to make a comprehensive judgment.

Now, well, if they don’t have transcendent abilities, then they are all merely common people without any real initiation!

Master Yuanci slightly bent, and after disembarking from the Immortal Boat, followed the guiding Ghost Envoy to the mountain gate, then ascended the winding stone stairs.

On both sides of the staircase, numerous stone carvings were etched into the mountains.

Each group of stone carvings contained a small Buddhist Scripture story or some philosophical lesson.

Master Yuanci wished he could stop here and memorize all the stone carvings overnight.

Unfortunately, he didn’t have time now and had never even considered whether it was possible to record this wondrous sight with technological devices.

Although no one had told Master Yuanci to avoid using smart devices since entering this Holy Land,

Master Yuanci instinctively, subconsciously avoided thinking about such disrespectful acts.

The mountain was not very high, and the winding staircase also did not exceed a hundred meters.

Even so, when Master Yuanci climbed the mountain and saw the Floating Illusion Temple that made his body tremble,

he was a bit surprised that he felt no hint of fatigue.

Despite his authoritative demeanor in the Great Compassion Temple,

those who knew him knew he was also a seventy-year-old monk.

Being able to climb with uninterrupted steps without catching his breath or feeling pain in his back was truly unimaginable!

This must also be the work of the Holy Land, which is the geographical advantage mentioned in Cultivation!

Master Yuanci saw the six-tusked stone elephants flanking the temple gates, and he vaguely thought he saw the life-like stone elephants suddenly move their eyes towards him.

Master Yuanci hurriedly put his palms together, bowed his head, and silently confessed.

The Ghost Envoy floated beside him and sighed:

“Go in. You’ve got the token, no need to worry about the attacks from these guardian statues.”

“Having passed the test of the Floating Illusion Temple, you now have the qualification to be ordered around.”

“Thank you, Envoy.”

Master Yuanci nodded. After hearing the word ‘test,’ he took a deep breath, recalling the hardships and joys of his life,

straightened his back, and with one hand raised to his chest, strode boldly towards the temple gates.

Whoosh!

The heavy vermillion-golden doors opened slowly on their own without any wind.

Master Yuanci felt he could hear whispers coming from within the doors.

After hesitating for less than half a second, Master Yuanci firmly stepped over the threshold.

Suddenly!

Master Yuanci found the main hall suddenly became much brighter.

All around were glittering, and there were Bodhisattvas and Arhats rising on clouds in the air, looking at him with gentle faces.

Even a familiar Bodhisattva slightly nodded towards him as if subtly supporting his arrival.

Aside from these humanoid Honorable beings, around the great hall, most divine dragons, giant elephants, fierce lions, and wild bears as Spiritual Beasts in varying expressions watched him, partly hidden in clouds.

In the middle surrounded by these Bodhisattvas, Arhats, divine dragons, and giant elephants, in the most revered position,

there was a godly Dharma Aspect of the Tathagata, at least dozens of meters tall, seemingly touching the roof, resplendently seated on a lotus pedestal.

This Dharma Aspect, appearing both like a statue and a real person, perfectly matched the mental image of the Buddha in Master Yuanci’s heart.

“I, Monk Yuanci, have seen the Honorable ones of Floating Illusion Temple.”

Master Yuanci did not dare to look at the surrounding divine Buddhas and quickly arrived at the cushion at the entrance to pay respects to the Tathagata Dharma Aspect.

After paying his respects, he did not continue to kneel.

“Seeing the Tathagata, why do you not kneel!”
