Danmachi- Hell’s Forge

Date

Date

Time passed and soon the day for the date came and I arrived at the hostess to pick up Freya for our date.

"So how'd she manage to get you to agree to this nyah?" Anya asked curiously as I waited for my date to come down from the second floor of the place.

"I owed her a favor and she asked for this in exchange." I said with a helpless shrug that made my tuxedo shimmer slightly.

"Hmm, well I can't say I'm not a little jealous. You clean up nicely." she said eyeing me with a hungry look.

I couldn't help but agree a little as I had trimmed up my wild hair and slicked it back while dressing up in this suit that showed off my well built form while adding a touch of mystique due to my tattoos patterned on it. I wasn't overly handsome or anything like that but I was at least pleasing to look at to a degree. Other than the brown hide bag at my waist I looked as though I would fit in at any high end establishment or event. When Freya came down the stairs in casual clothes I chuckled as she clearly wasn't expecting me so early.-

"You look good." she said with a bright smile.

"I don't half do things." I said with a shrug as I pulled out the dress from my bag and tossed it to her.

It unfolded in midair shimmering brightly and catching plenty of attention before she caught it. She looked it over with a critical eye but the way her eyes shined and her smile widened I could tell she was quite happy with it.

"You made this?" she asked and I nodded.

"Okay I'm way more than a little jealous, it's beautiful." Anya said with a envious look.

"Aye, it's a sight alright." Mama Mia agreed as she looked at the dress herself.

"I'll go get changed and we can go." Freya said before eagerly heading up the stairs again making me chuckle.

"Man of many talents ain't ya? Smithing, tailoring, sculpting, fighting, probably more too yeah?" Mama Mia said with an amused look.

"I like to stay busy." I said with a wink and a grin.@@novelbin@@

"You HAVE to make me a dress like that!" Anya said giving me her best puppy dog(or kitten, dealers choice) eyes.

I shrugged "I don't mind but you'll have to collect the spider silk needed for it. Stuff was a pain to gather around Orario." I said casually.

"You used spider silk to make that!? No wonder it looked so soft!" she exclaimed in surprise that even Mama Mia seemed to share.

I nodded "Needs a bit of care to process into workable thread but the final result is not only light and soft but also quite durable. I even went a step further and refined the material to it's utmost so both that dress and my suit might well work as armor to a small degree though any real blows would leave bruises or broken bones since the clothes can't absorb the force of any strikes." I said proudly.

Everyone just looked at me speechlessly after I finished speaking which made sense considering I had effectively just said that I had pretty much created armored dress clothes. The idea alone was insane as no one had done it before. If you wanted to have armor in a formal setting you used an actual set of armor that was specifically made for those settings. Nobody had ever made normal clothes into a type of armor before since there honestly was no need since wearing that special sort of armor was considered the norm.-

"Leave it to a madman like you to come up with something like that." Anya said with a shake of her head.

"Honestly speaking this is pretty mild compared to some of the ideas I had but those would have made the clothes too heavy." I said with a helpless look.

"What did you want to add hidden weapons or something?" Anya asked sarcastically but I just nodded.

"I wanted to add a belt sword, some wrist, knee and elbow blades and dart linings." I said seriously.

Anya's jaw practically hit the floor at that and I just chuckled. Honestly you could blame all those spy movies back on Earth for that as hidden weapons were way more developed there compared to here. Not that it was all that surprising as unlike there most people worth assassinating tended to be adventurers and thus small hidden weapons rarely worked on them so long as they were worth the name. With abnormal resistance being an extremely common developmental skill it should be no surprise that potent poisons that can kill with the tiniest cut didn't really work here.-

Don't get me wrong poison absolutely still worked but against higher leveled targets it took much more than a mere few micrograms to kill someone. It was for this reason most of the smaller or more odd hidden weapons types didn't really see much use in this world compared to on Earth. In fact most assassinations boiled down to either blowing the target the fuck up with magic or straight up sneak attacking them with normal weapons. Regardless Freya soon came down the stairs again in her new dress and left many here stunned.-

Even while playing her role as Syr, Freya was normally quite the looker but after dolling up like this she was breath taking. Her amethyst dress shined in a way that really brought focus to her silver hair and soft beautiful face that she had lightly make-upped with some blush and lipstick. I smiled and clapped my hands at the sight as I mentally patted my own back at a job well done.

"If I didn't know any better I'd swear you were stalking me with how well this dress fits me. Theres not a single part that is too loose or tight." Freya said with a giggle.

"It's part of my magic. I learn every physical detail of anything I touch and after so much contact your sizes are practically seared into my mind." I said frankly since there was no point in hiding it.

She blushed "EVERY detail?" she asked and I refused to answer that trapped question for my own good.
