Demon Technique
"Th-then I'll go to my room," Lin Feng said in a low tone, trying to hide his nervousness. He slightly bowed his head as a sign of respect, then slowly walked away. Lin Yi, still busy with her training, only glanced at him briefly without paying further attention.
"Hmph, do whatever you want," she said coldly, refocusing on her sword.
Lin Feng walked through the corridors of the Lin family residence with his mind racing. He continued to observe his surroundings, taking note of every corner of the magnificent yet unfamiliar building.
"Damn, I don't even know where the real Lin Feng's room is. If I wander around for too long, they might start getting suspicious," he muttered to himself.
At that moment, his eyes caught sight of a young servant who appeared busy carrying a tray with tea. The servant looked nervous, perhaps due to being in a hurry to complete his task. Lin Feng quickly approached him.
"Hey, you!" he called out firmly, causing the servant to stop in his tracks with a startled expression.
"Come here."
The servant hesitantly drew near, his face pale and looking uncomfortable in Lin Feng's presence.
"I-is there something I can help you with, Master?" he stammered.
Lin Feng stared at him sharply, trying to utilize the authority possessed by the body's original owner.
"Take me to my room," he ordered briefly, attempting not to sound uncertain.
The servant appeared confused for a moment but eventually nodded quickly.
"Y-yes, Master. Please follow me," he replied while bowing, then turned around to lead the way.
Lin Feng followed the servant through the long corridors adorned with beautiful carvings and glittering lanterns. He took note of every detail, trying to memorize them for precaution.
"This clan is truly filled with luxury," he thought. "No wonder they're all arrogant."
After walking for a while, they arrived in front of a large wooden door with a dragon carving that wrapped around it. The servant stopped and pointed to the door.
"This is your room, Master," he said while bowing respectfully.
Lin Feng gazed at the door for a moment, then nodded slightly.
"Alright, you may leave," he said.
The servant quickly turned around and left with rapid footsteps, perhaps relieved to be able to distance himself from Lin Feng. Lin Feng slowly opened the door to his room and entered. He looked around, trying to find something that could help him understand more about the real Lin Feng's life. The room was quite large, with a big bed in the center, a desk in the corner, and a sturdy wooden closet. However, Lin Feng's attention was immediately drawn to something suspicious under the bed.
"Hmm, what's this?" Lin Feng muttered to himself while kneeling down to investigate. He found a small, tightly closed wooden box. The box was covered in dust, clearly indicating that it hadn't been touched in a long time. Carefully, he lifted the box and cleaned it.
"What was Lin Feng hiding?" Lin Feng wondered. Curiosity drove him to quickly open the box. As the lid opened, he was astonished by its contents. Inside were several old books with black covers, filled with symbols that looked ominous.
"Demonic Techniques?" he whispered in surprise. "How did Lin Feng obtain forbidden techniques like these?"
Lin Feng flipped through the pages of one of the books, reading a few lines. Although he only glanced at it briefly, he immediately grasped the essence of the technique being taught.
"This is terrifying... but if I learn it, I could become much stronger," he thought. With caution, he chose one of the techniques from the book.
"[Finger of Death]," he whispered while reading the instructions. He closed his eyes, trying to sense the Qi energy within his body, then focused the Qi into his finger. Slowly, a reddish-brown energy began to accumulate at his fingertip.
"Now, let's try it," he said while looking at a small bird perched on the windowsill of his room. He aimed his finger and launched the attack.
"[Finger of Death!]" The reddish-brown energy shot out quickly, directly hitting the bird. In an instant, the bird fell to the ground, lifeless. Lin Feng stared at his finger with sparkling eyes.
"This technique... is incredibly powerful. With this, I'll be able to deal with anyone who tries to stand in my way."
What do you think?
