Chapter 1106: A Bad Time For Pagna

Chapter 1106: A Bad Time For Pagna

When Aurora opened her eyes, strange scents wafted into her nose. The burning of incense that she wasn't quite used to, compared to her rush of chemical bed cleaners and fruity magical room fresheners she had at home.

Immediately, a panic had set in her heart. She looked around and noticed multiple beds, wooden frames, and a bunch of other tools that she had only seen in TV programs but never come across in real life.

"It wasn't a dream... it really wasn't a dream..." Aurora started to immediately sob, as she remembered everything. She had no doubts that it wasn't a dream for the longest time. She could feel everything when she arrived.

She felt the hunger in her stomach from before and the mud splashing on her face, but she had hoped that just maybe it was a trick, a dream of some sort of spell, but she was still in this type of situation.

"I know it can be kinda scary, which is why I'm here to help answer any questions you have." When Aurora turned her head, she saw the orange-haired girl from before. The only person that understood her in this foreign land, the only person that made her feel as if she hadn't gone mad since she went here.

"Thank you, thank you!" Aurora first said. "Thank you for being real!"

Her arms dangled on Charlotte's shoulder, and snot was dripping out of her nose onto her clothes. Charlotte carefully pushed her away and provided tissues. She was expecting this. Being part of Alter, it also wasn't the first time she had dealt with Otherworlders, and their reactions were quite similar; even she was in the same situation.

"Where am I right now?" Aurora asked. "What happened to me, how did this happen, and can I call someone and contact my brother?"

Charlotte waited for Aurora to blurt out all of her concerns and questions at once before answering.

"We're in the same town that you arrived in before, located in a place called Pagna, and right now you're in the town hall, a room for visitors," Charlotte explained. "But by where you are right now, I'm guessing that wasn't really the question that you were trying to ask."

"First, I want to say that I am from Alterian like you, and not only that, I have been through the exact same thing that you have now. It's going to be hard to believe. Although maybe not with what you've already been through, but I need you to take everything I say carefully. To not interrupt me, to not panic, and to deal with the situation at hand."

Aurora nodded along. She was willing to do whatever this person asked of her; she was clinging onto her words, but Charlotte didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

Slowly, Charlotte explained to the best of her abilities. Himmy was always the person to deal with these matters, and he was better at this than her, but Charlotte still tried her best to explain that she was on another world.

A planet far from where Alterian was. She explained that she wasn't the only one this had happened to, and the differences that the two worlds had. After explaining all of that, she went into greater detail.

About Pagna warriors and their Qi, the dos and don'ts of the world, and finally, the solutions she might have been looking for, about getting back to Alterian, getting in contact with them, and so much.

Charlotte let it out gently. It wasn't that there was absolutely no way, but those from Alterian were currently searching.

When Charlotte finally explained everything, there was a blank stare on Aurora's face, which was just looking straight ahead at her.

"It's a lot to take in, and after a week of being here, only then I started to accept the reality myself," Charlotte said. "It will take some time."

As Charlotte stayed by Aurora's side, a knock on the door was heard. As the door opened, the dark-skinned woman Aurora had seen before had arrived again.

"Everything okay in here?" Alba asked.

Although Aurora could hear the words coming out from Alba's mouth, she still didn't understand what was happening.

"Yeah," Charlotte said. "It's as expected, she's a mage from Alterian, which is why the panic. We haven't had one in a while, at least not in the Demonic Faction. It's a good thing that she was in Flendon, otherwise, who would have known what would happen to her." Charlotte said.

"You can speak their language?" Aurora asked.

That reminded Charlotte as she pulled out a device; it was circular, flat, with a golden I. What the members of Alter used to help communicate; they had gotten their hands on a large

number of them after the extermination.

She then handed it over to Aurora.

"With that, you should be able to understand us; it's a magical item," Charlotte explained.@@novelbin@@

"So, do you guys know each other then? Is she someone you recognize?" Alba asked.

"Oh, it works, it really works!" Aurora said.

"We don't know each other," Charlotte answered. "Alterian is a big place with a large population. I don't think I've ever met anyone from Alterian that I know."

"There are more from Alterian, right? Maybe I will know someone, though?" Aurora said, excited.

"Right, we can meet them," Charlotte replied. "And see if you do. Honestly, though, you have come at a rough moment for us. Right now... we're in the middle of a fight. If all things go

well, then there might be a way for us to go home."

"A way to go home, that's good news!" Aurora said.

Maybe it was for someone who didn't know the full extent of what was happening and the possible large-scale battle that was up ahead.

"I'll introduce you to the others, and when I can, I'll introduce you to Raze as well," Charlotte

said.

It was the second time she had heard the name since being here.

"Raze?" Aurora asked.

"Yeah, he's from Alterian as well; he's kind of the leader around here. He can be a little scary, though, but he's the person that's going to take us back home."
