Dawn of light - Reincarnated as a villain

Chapter 24: Zyraleth

Chapter 24: Zyraleth

The next day, Zephyx found himself standing before the grand doors of the library. Taking a deep breath, he pushed them open, stepping into a place that felt more like a sanctum of endless knowledge than a simple repository of books.

What greeted him left him in awe. Towering shelves stretched high into the air, some firmly planted on the ground, while others floated gracefully above, their contents secured by some unseen magic. The room seemed infinite, with books radiating an aura of wisdom and history. The soft glow of enchanted lamps illuminated the space, casting a serene light that made every corner feel alive with stories waiting to be told.

After taking a moment to appreciate the grandeur, he moved purposefully toward a particular section of shelves. His fingers grazed over the spines of countless tomes until he found the ones he was searching for. Carefully, he pulled out a small stack of books, carried them to a nearby table, and settled into one of the chairs.

The first book he opened was about this fascinating planet: Zyraleth.

As he read, he found himself drawn into the vivid descriptions of this super-earth, significantly larger than Earth itself. The planet's surface was 55% water, with the remaining land split among four vast continents, each home to unique civilizations.

Tharador Continent:

A land ruled by beastmen, each race bearing unique animalistic traits. Despite internal rivalries, they banded together in the face of external threats. Knights and warriors dominated their culture, showcasing strength and loyalty.

Sylvalis Continent:

The domain of the elves, Sylvalis was lush with an abundance of flora. The elves lived in harmony with nature, their longevity and grace reflected in their culture. Their empire stood unified, an epitome of peace and wisdom.

Tenebris Continent:

The vampire stronghold, ruled by sole emperor. Its dark beauty mirrored its inhabitants' enigmatic nature.

Valtheris Continent:

This was the human-controlled land—Zephyx's starting point after transmigrating. A place of kingdoms, empires, and innovation, it bore similarities to Earth in its diversity and ambition.

Hours passed as he immersed himself in the book, piecing together the intricate details of Zyraleth. When he finally closed it, he let out a soft sigh.

"It's just as it was in the game," he murmured to himself.

After returning the books to their rightful places, he left the library. As the heavy doors creaked open, he found Drusilla waiting outside. Her crimson eyes fixed on him, and her pout was almost enough to make him laugh.

"Are you done?" she asked, her tone tinged with both irritation and affection. "You were in there for so long, and you looked so serious, I didn't want to disturb you."

Her expression was too much—he chuckled softly. "Sorry, I got a bit carried away. That library is incredible."

Her pout deepened, but then she quickly shifted to a more serious tone. "So, what are you planning?"

He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'll go on an adventure first. After that, I'll join SETRA Academy."

Her eyes widened for a brief moment before narrowing with a knowing look. "I knew you'd end up at that academy." Then, her expression softened into one of sadness mixed with a hint of indignation. "But when are you leaving for this so-called adventure?"

Her reaction made his chest tighten. He sighed again, this time more softly, and replied, "Two weeks from now."

Her eyes darkened slightly, and before he could say anything else, she grabbed his hand and started pulling him toward their room. Her voice turned low and sultry as she declared, "Then you're going to spend every moment of those two weeks making it up to me... and filling me completely."

He sighed, though a small smile tugged at his lips. "I wouldn't expect anything less."

As she led him down the hallway, he couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. This bond between them, as chaotic as it was, was something he was slowly learning to appreciate. Two weeks of passion and mischief awaited—before the real adventure began.

Two weeks passed in what felt like a blur. The days were filled with intense training, personal growth, and—most notably—an endless cycle of passion with Drusilla. Each day was spent in each other's arms, and Zephyx could hardly remember a time when they weren't entwined, pushing the boundaries of their bond. Drusilla kept him on edge, and he could hardly keep up with her insatiable appetite for him, both in and out of bed. The intense connection they shared was intoxicating, and he had to admit, he was slightly relieved when the two weeks finally came to an end.

It was the morning of his departure, and he found himself standing once again before Azaroth, Selena, and Drusilla in the grand throne room of their gothic castle. The towering pillars around them made the room feel even more vast and imposing.

Azaroth's sharp gaze cut through the air, his voice calm yet heavy with the knowledge of what Zephyx was about to undertake. "So, you're leaving, huh?" His words held no malice, but there was an unmistakable weight to them.

Zephyx nodded, his voice steady. "Yes. I want to explore little more, get a feel for it, before I join the academy."

Selena, who had been quietly observing, chimed in. "He's right. It's wise to take time it will be better for his experience, and his growth."

Azaroth gave a thoughtful nod, his eyes flicking between Zephyx and Drusilla. "Hmm, yes. That makes sense. What's your opinion, Drusilla?"

Drusilla, who had been standing by Zephyx's side, stepped forward. Without hesitation, she wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug. Her lips brushed against his ear as she whispered with a touch of possessiveness in her voice, "You are mine, okay and mine only. And if someone will even enter in your life. I will always be your first priority. Understood? Darling~"

Zephyx shudder at her words, both surprised and amused by her straightforwardness. "O-okay," he stammered, trying to hide the smile that threatened to form.

Drusilla pulled back just enough to peck him on the lips, her face lighting up with a playful, mischievous grin. "Good," she said, the smile still playing on her lips.

But then, her father, Azaroth, glared at Zephyx—though it wasn't the harsh glare he was used to from him. No, this one was different, laced with a mixture of amusement and an unspoken warning. Meanwhile, Selena, standing to his side, looked on with an amused grin, clearly enjoying the scene between them. Her gaze flickered between Zephyx and Drusilla, her expression one of quiet amusement.

After a moment of silence, Zephyx knew it was time. Drusilla led him toward the teleportation portal within the castle, her hand never leaving his. As they approached the platform, she adjusted the coordinates with ease, her face illuminated by the light from the magical runes that glowed beneath the platform.

Just as Zephyx felt the familiar sensation of the world shifting around him, Drusilla turned to give him one last look, a soft, lingering gaze. "Take care of yourself, Zephyx," she whispered, her tone tinged with concern.

And then, with a sudden rush of energy, the world around him blurred. He felt a strange tugging sensation, almost as if the fabric of reality was being bent and twisted, before suddenly, everything snapped into place.

The next moment, Zephyx found himself standing in the heart of the capital city of the Valtheris continent. The bustling city stretched out before him, a vast metropolis of towering spires, cobbled streets, and busy markets. The air was thick with the hum of magic, trade, and the footsteps of countless people.
