"Thank you. My husband and I will consider it," Luo Ruying replied with a gentle smile. 

As she gazed at the children playing in the distance, she seriously considered whether it was finally time to send her daughter to Nanli Academy's school for young children. Perhaps it would be good for Yeye to interact more with others her age.

"Then I won’t disturb your family any further, Senior Luo," Su Yi said politely with a slight bow before returning to the group of children. The little ones clung to her hands and surrounded her with bright smiles, clearly fond of her.

Luo Ruying felt that perhaps she could trust Su Yi to look after her daughter. Ning Yechen was also contemplating whether to send Yeye to Nanli Academy. It wasn’t because he cared about Nanli Academy's education—frankly, they weren’t qualified to teach his daughter anything. What interested him was simply letting Yeye play and interact with children her age. But the thought of being separated from her, even for a short while, made him reluctant. 

While the couple waited for Luo Ruxin to return, several hours passed. 

Just as Luo Ruying was about to stand up and look for her, Luo Ruxin finally appeared. However, she looked utterly exhausted, her face pale and drained as if her very soul had been sucked away.

"Ruxin, what happened to you?" Luo Ruying immediately stepped forward with concern. 

"I-I’m fine, Sister…" Luo Ruxin insisted stubbornly, forcing herself to act normal. There was no way she could admit she had been drugged with a laxative and been stuck in a restroom for hours! 

If anyone found out, she, a Heavenly King-level cultivator, would be laughed at for centuries! Besides, even if she did try to explain, she doubted her sister would believe her. That maid surely wouldn’t admit it either…

Her fury burned as she glared daggers at Ning Yechen and Yue Qingyou. She was certain that this wretched man had ordered that witch to poison her to get her out of the way! 

But before she could continue fuming, her stomach growled ominously.

In the stillness of the night, Ning Yechen gently brushed his fingers over Luo Hongye’s soft forehead, watching her sleep peacefully. 

After carefully tucking her in, he quietly stepped outside and sat in the courtyard. 

"You’re still awake, my Lord?" Yue Qingyou’s voice echoed softly from behind him, appearing without a sound as if she had materialized from the shadows. 

Ning Yechen didn’t even flinch. He was used to it. 

No matter where he went or what he did, Yue Qingyou always somehow knew and would appear by his side. Back in the Demon Realm, she had caught him sneaking out countless times. He was honestly beginning to wonder if she never slept and always kept an eye on him.

He glanced at her and decided to bring up something that had been on his mind. "Qingyou, what do you think about sending Yeye to Nanli Academy?" 

As the one who governed the Demon Realm in his stead, Yue Qingyou always had sharp and pragmatic insights. 

After a moment of thought, she replied, "That depends on how you and Lady Luo wish to raise the young princess.

"In my opinion, Nanli Academy is far beneath her. They are unworthy of educating someone of her status. 

"However…" She tilted her head slightly. "If it is merely meant as a place for play, then it may serve its purpose."

Ning Yechen nodded. His thoughts were exactly the same. Still, the idea of his daughter being away from him, even for a short while, made him reluctant.

Yue Qingyou naturally saw right through him, "My Lord, if you are worried about the young princess, I can personally infiltrate Nanli Academy and replace every single member of the staff. The entire institution will be under our control.

"If you wish for her to have playmates, I can have our people disguise themselves as children to accompany her.

"I will ensure that she is never harmed in any way."

"Absolutely not," Ning Yechen refused immediately. 

He knew Yue Qingyou meant well, but what would be the point of sending Yeye there if the entire school was secretly filled with their own people? At that point, he might as well just keep her at home.

"Hmm… I did hear that Nanli Academy allows personal attendants for young students," Yue Qingyou said after some thought.

"I could personally accompany the young princess and ensure she is cared for properly," she suggested, looking rather eager. 

That… actually isn’t a bad idea. If Qingyou is with Yeye, I won’t have to worry. 

But something about the way she said it made Ning Yechen suspicious… 

Was this her plan all along? If she’s in charge of looking after Yeye, she’ll definitely spoil her beyond reason… even more than Ruying and me. 

Just as Ning Yechen was mulling over this, a faint shuffling noise came from the other side of the wall.

Luo Ruxin trembled with rage. She had finally uncovered the truth. This wretched man was nothing but a deceitful scoundrel, planning to take Yeye away from her sister! 

She would never allow it! She would destroy him! 

Just as she was about to storm in and attack, she hesitated. No. 

If she barged in now, Ning Yechen and his maid would simply deny everything. The best way to expose a liar was to let them reveal their true nature in front of everyone! 

Yes. That was the best plan. She would make sure her sister saw this traitor’s true face! With a self-satisfied smirk, she silently vowed to expose him… right after another restroom visit. 

The moment she left, Ning Yechen and Yue Qingyou glanced toward the exact spot she had been hiding. They had noticed her the moment she arrived. Since their conversation was nothing secretive, they hadn’t bothered to stop her from listening. 

Still, seeing her scurry away clutching her stomach again, Ning Yechen couldn't help but chuckle. "Qingyou, prepare some digestive medicine for my dear sister-in-law tomorrow."
