"So… seeing Kat down that soup I think we might need to change our plans for after lunch…" muttered Sue.

Kat glanced down at the empty bowl. It wasn't even hot anymore. Though it was tasty. "Why? Or rather, what were you planning and why has that changed?"

"Well the plan was to go to a nail salon and just relax while getting our hands and maybe feet worked on… but then I remember how strong you guys are now. I'm not even sure if Kamiko would be allowed to go," Kat held herself from asking Sue 'why' again, sure that the succubus was getting to it. "The issue is that your nails are quite strong at your rank and I don't know if any of the stores can serve you. Kamiko might be fine… but Kat and Lily you guys probably won't,"

"Wait why Lily?" asked Kat for her girlfriend. Lily had finished with the fish bowl and gone to return it a minute ago. Kat would be doing the same shortly.

"Well she had claws not just fingernails. They tend to be a lot tougher, so even at Rank 3 it might be too much… assuming Rank 3 isn't already too much on its own. I genuinely don't remember. I think there's one place here that does Rank 3 stuff but Rank 4… I'm not too sure. Plus your regeneration just makes it worse," explained Sue.

Kat grimaced. It was actually pretty reasonable to have restrictions on that sort of thing. "Right… I can see that being an issue. I'm happy to stand around while everyone else gets their nails done but…"

Sue nodded, "Yeah it might be just me and that's not the point of today. Plus my Mum bought a proper nail setup years and years ago. I'm perfectly capable of doing her nails and vice versa. Mine don't even really need the touch-up. This was just a good excuse to hang out and do something together… which I guess has fallen through.

"We could go to a hair salon instead… maybe. I know they tend to have less issues then nail places but I'm still not sure if they'll do anything for a Rank 4. Plus… does your hair grow back with your regeneration?" Kat nodded. "Then they probably wouldn't take you on as a customer anyway,"

A bit of a shame. I mean, I'm happy with my nails and hair but it's a shame we can't all get our nails done together. I've heard people talk about the experience but never had the time or inclination to get my nails done by myself… or with Lily. I don't blame them… but I suppose there are some drawbacks to regeneration. Ones easy to put up with. Kinda funny it let me get my meal without issue but sort of messed up the rest of the days plans.

"I'm still happy to sit around," said Kat. "That's not exactly hard for me, and heck maybe they can give my hair a proper wash. I don't think it needs it, but I haven't exactly been maintaining my hair much since my transformation, especially while off on Contracts,"

"For Succubi like us it really isn't necessary," said Sue with a shrug. "Still I get your point. It could be nice… and probably allowed? Unlike the nails I don't think there's any issue as long as you're not getting your hair cut…"

"Wait… that implies there IS an issue with the nails even if you aren't getting them cut?" asked Kamiko, speaking up for the first time since Lily had left, who happened to be returning at that moment and slid into the seat. She'd been listening in to the conversation through Kat and didn't need the catch-up. It also meant that it was Kat's turn to go and return her bowl. So with a nod to everyone else Kat swiftly got up and started to listen through Lily's mind.

"Err… yeah there is. It's something in the compound that they use to apply nail polish or fancy nail bits and pieces. It doesn't work properly on higher ranked people either. I have no idea why, that's just how I've been told it is. Hair products though? They're normally fine as long as you actually have hair,"

"Where do gorgons and golems go?" asked Lily. "And lamia's too I suppose but I imagine they go to the same place as the gorgons for scale stuff,"

"No idea," said Sue with a shrug. "It's not really something I ever thought about. Though… did you know that instead of pubes gorgons just have a patch of scales down there? That's something I was curious about,"

Lily let out a long sigh. "I feel like you went out of your way to confirm that purposefully… but now I AM curious. Can you get male gorgons?"@@novelbin@@

"Yeah but they look almost the same. Snake hair doesn't exactly lend itself to being regularly trimmed and they tend to be super effeminate. Though I can confirm they have dicks," answered Sue.

"Why did I even bother asking," grumbled Lily as she lay down, head in her hands as she tried to remove that image from her mind. "Urgh. I have been cursed with knowledge I was not meant to have!"

"Oh stop being dramatic," said Sue. "It's really not that mentally scarring nor is it the weirdest fact I know about demons,"

"Remember I'm a lesbian so already this is an uncomfortable topic for me," retorted Lily.

"Is really that? Or are you just shy?" asked Sue with as innocent an expression as she could manage. Not that Lily was bothering to look at her right now.

"Do you have any non-gross but interesting facts?" asked Lily.

"Well I have plenty of facts I don't consider gross," retorted Sue with a grin on her face.

Lily let out a long sigh. "Can we at least get non-sexual ones then?"

Sue shrugged, "Sure I can do that I guess. Did you know that Sloth demons are capable of eating the shadows of food? It removes the nutrition from them but the taste stays the same if anyone else tries to eat them. It also robs them of magical power, but not having a shadow does have other potentially positive effects.

"Um… what else. Gorgons can eat with their snake hair but not too much otherwise it causes a lot of problems. Despite this, a lot of them feel the need to feed them. It seems to be a psychological tick but it's super common so nobody really knows. Lamias have no genitals when transformed… um… hmm what else,"

Isn't that last one there sexual?" asked Lily.

"I feel like lacking genitals is the opposite of sexual," said Sue with a grin as Kat slid back into her seat and let out a long sigh… but Lily basically asked for this. What sort of 'interesting facts' did her girlfriend THINK Sue had?

"Anything else?" asked Lily with a sigh.

"Not if you want to keep it non-sexual," said Sue. "Especially if that lamia fact was too much for you."

"I just wanted to here some interesting facts…" groaned Lily.

"You really should've expected this," said Kat as she reached over to scratch her girlfriend's drooping ears. "Sue is a good friend but her interests are pretty specific. I'm not sure why you expected her to even have a bunch of random interesting facts about the other demons anyway,"

"I don't know? I guess I just assumed she'd pick up a bunch just living on the Hub and it's not like Kamiko would go out of her way to ask for more info most of the time," said Lily. Kamiko blushed a bit and left to return her now empty bowls to void being the new target.

"You do realise that for me this is all just normal right? Anything you might find interesting is most likely just something normal top me," answered Sue. Lily for her part just sighed into the table again.

Kat glanced at Sue and asked a hopefully distracting question. "Do you need to return that?"

"Nope, unlike your choices Jumbo Jule's enchants all their stuff to teleport back after a certain about of time. I can take this home no problem if I really wanted. And it can even do this!" Sue tapped the edge of the tray she had her food on and it vanished, leaving behind the salad in a clear container and the burger wrapped up in something like baking paper. "See, all sorted and I don't have to get back up,"

Kat was shocked. "Why don't more places use stuff like that?"

Sue shrugged, "You guys keep coming to me for all of this specific knowledge that I just don't know. Maybe the higher prices from the larger meals helps offset the costs? Maybe Jule's happens to be good at enchanting. Heck, maybe they find too many people just keep the trays and this saves them money in the long run. Could be plenty of things but I've never really cared about it. It's fancy sure, but nothing worth asking about,"

"Sorry Sue," mumbled Lily.

"Aw don't worry your cute little head Lily," retorted Sue. "It's cute you two ask so many questions. Just don't expect me to have the answers like all that often! Well not outside of certain topics…"
