--- Kat ---

Kat shuddered awake when she got tapped on the shoulder. Glancing around the room it was clear Lily wasn’t the only one to fall asleep during the treatment. Kamiko was just waking up and so was Lily. Apparently the only one who didn’t fall asleep was Sue. "…so really, I just think that people could stand to communicate a bit more in the bedroom you know?"

"Oh you know I have no problems with that darling. My beloved is quite vocal when we spend time together like that. Sadly they do still take Contracts so it’s not as often as I might want, but it is what it is," sighed Trizha.

"Still no luck convincing them to give it up?" asked Sue.

"Oh I could never do that to them. They supported my dream back when I was but a young eyeling. They paid for so much silly equipment I thought I needed to be a good hairdresser back when we were younger… I couldn’t ask that of them. It makes them so happy. I just enjoy the time we have together and grumble about it with friends darling," stated Trizha.

"Haa… I don’t know if I could ever manage that Trizha. Going over a week without someone to scratch the itch? I mean not even any toys?" said Sue with a bit of a glare.

"Bah they don’t make anything proper for Beholders darling. The only things you can get are for true degenerates and they tend to be far too extreme for me. I’m not like you where anything can be utilised for a bit of pleasure," snapped Trizha jokingly.

"Hey, I had to work my way up to cactuses you know," retorted Sue.

Trizha flinched. "You didn’t!"

"Look, it was a bet that I lost and the spines were clipped off… but yes I did," admitted Sue somewhat sheepishly.

Kat decided that she really didn’t want to know more. "Hello Sue, Trizha… did we all fall asleep…"

Sue laughed even as Trizha nodded. Well, as best a nod as a beholder could manage, "Indeed darlings. It happens to just about everyone on their first time here. I’m quite good at what I do and my mixture are the best for a reason!"

"I managed to stay awake though!" chimed in Sue.

"Only because you were a little bundle of energy at three years old. I also suspect that your dear mother shoved you full of sugar before visiting just so she could brag about you making it through the experience and get a bit of revenge on her poor hairdresser," sighed Trizha.

"I still don’t remember anything like that happening," said Sue with a smirk.

"Indeed because I know you don’t remember the event," Trizha sighed.

While Trizha and Sue were back to snipping at each other Kat looked around. Her hair had been cleaned off already and turning to the mirror revealed that it was looking remarkably vibrant. It had a bit more… oomph to it. As if she’d added a bit more volume to it somehow and there was a nice healthy sheen. Compared to her friends though, it wasn’t much.

Lily’s hair was now a cascade of curls. At first glance it looked like a bit of a mess but as you stared patterns emerged. It was almost like one of those optical illusions that move when you look at them for too long but instead you were getting lost in Lily’s curls. Her hair had also gained a lot of volume and seemed to be like black velvet and looked so fluffy. It was kinda ridiculous but Kat just wanted to use it as a pillow. Though Lily’s ears looked strangely untouched amongst the curly floof. They were somewhat hidden by the surrounding volume… but not much. Still Kat thought it looked great.

Then there was Kamiko… her hair was now PINK. Like... it was already bubblegum pink and rather noticeable but now it was eye searingly pink. It seemed to almost be four dimensional and made the surroundings duller by comparison. It was weird to look at just how pink her hair was now. Kat… wasn’t entirely sure she was a fan of the effect. It was eye-catching sure but it was perhaps a bit much.

Sue’s hair… was hard to see. Unlike everyone else Sue wasn’t quite done with her appointment and her hair was still hidden by the large dish on the back of the chair. It had even closed over the hair to keep it extra hidden… and probably dry Sue’s hair.

"… rubber chicken," added Sue… and Kat was confused. She really hadn’t been paying attention but how did they even get to that? Kat probably had the memories and could check… but something told her she didn’t really want to.

"So, is there anything we need to keep in mind for haircare?" asked Kat before Trizha could reply to whatever nonsense Sue was on about.

Trizha turned back to Kat and shrugged, "Not much to be done in your case. Your regeneration keeps your healthy super healthy and at the length you want it. Sure my product pretties it up… but honestly you’ll be back to normal in a two days tops. It just won’t last for you I’m afraid.

"Your girlfriend," Kat didn’t remember mentioning that… but it had probably come up while she was asleep "should probably consider sleeping transformed if she wants to keep the curls up longer. Assuming that’s something she doesn’t find uncomfortable. It’ll only buy an extra day or two, maybe three but that’s enough for some people," Lily nodded it was something she did anyway.

"Finally, little Kami darling here should be careful to wash her hair with cold water, something Sue has let me know will be no issue for you. Doesn’t have to be freezing, or even cold for you personally, just slightly chilled. Go easy on any haircare products you use for a week, and then after that things should be settled in. I expect the colour to stay for a while, but it’ll start fading at the one month mark and be completely gone by the sixth. If you want a touch-up I recommend three months at the earliest,"

"What about Sue?" asked Kat when Trizha seemed to have finished with her explanation.

Trizha rolled her giant eye at the question. "Oh, I suppose it’s a bit rude of me to do that… especially with new customers but the deviant over there already knows and ignores most of my recommendations. I’m not going to keep on her case about it, especially when it means more business to me. If she ever wants to hear what she needs to do to keep her hair healthy she can ask, but I’m not holding my breath,"

Kat glanced over at Sue who nodded as best she could with her hair stuck in the machine above her. "Yup it’s always ’don’t use your hair as clothes without the proper product,’ and ’you need to take care when your washing it,’ or like ’you got HOW much sexual fluid where?’ and stuff like that,"

Kat glared at Sue a bit for that answer. "And why not take care of it properly? Your hair is quite nice,"

"Because it IS quite nice Kat. You’re exactly right. This is what I get after the occasional touch-up and basically nothing else. Do you have ANY idea how much time and effort it takes to clean this much hair? Especially if you’re just at home in a normal shower. It is SO not worth it. I might be better off getting a professional setup like this but the better ones aren’t really designed for personal use unless you go for the overpriced premium ones… it’s more convenient to just come and see Trizha on the regular," answered Sue.

"See what she’s like?" sighed Trizha. "Always making more work for poor old me. The money might be good because of how much hair she has but its still such a shame to see every time. Years of advice ignored,"

"Eh, it’s not like mother is much better," said Sue.

"Oh don’t get me started on her," groaned Trizha. "She has less hair but gosh does she end up with so much-"

"Ok that’s enough," cut in Kat, already quite sure what Trizha was about to say. "I’m not sure if Sue mentioned it… but I guess we’re a bit more prudish than her old friends so… let’s just skip that part ok?"

"Eh, if you know you know. It’s not that bad to clean out because she’s a succubus. You lot have hair designed for… that specific kind of abuse and then some a lot of the time… but the smell lingers you know?" mused Trizha.

"I did not know that and I also didn’t WANT to know that," grumbled Kat.

"Sorry darling, but if you hang around Sue you’re gonna hear worse," said Trizha.

"Look… true but that doesn’t mean I need to hear more. Besides she’s getting better!" insisted Kat.

"Oh really," Trizha turned her big eye back to Sue. "Seems like someone was skipping out on the details…"

"Oh look at the time, perhaps we should head off," said Sue nervously.
