Xiao Yi looked at Ye Yingsu in the same worried manner as they got ready to approach her. However, Ye Yingsu stopped them and said, “Don’t come over here!”

Gu Qingxin quickly embraced Xiao Yi, her eyes filled with the sheen of tears. She didn’t need any further evidence to tell her what Ye Yingsu had experienced.

She glared angrily at the man casually lounging on the chair, shouting wrathfully, “You scumbag! If you want something, just say it. Bullying a woman like this, what kind of man are you?”

“This young girl can talk! Do you want to try and see if I am a man?” Lan Liehuo rose from his seat and menacingly made his way towards Gu Qingxin and Xiao Yi, his eyes full of a wicked glint.

Gu Qingxin, clutching Xiao Yi, retreated step by step. Lan Liehuo forcefully clutched her by her clothes and brought her to his front, “Beiming Han’s woman? How convenient; I can settle my score with him! Since he slept with my brother’s woman, I’ll sleep with his!”

As soon as she had strode through the door, Gu Qingxin had already prepared herself. The moment Lan Liehuo finished speaking, she mustered all the strength she could, bending her knee to strike at his groin.

Even though this attack was common, it was new and most effective given this specific situation and opponent!

The two were standing so close that Lan Liehuo could not dodge the knee-strike and got hit straight on by Gu Qingxin!

Lan Liehuo couldn’t help but grunt in pain. Rather than loosening his grip on Gu Qingxin, he clutched harder at her arm and she felt as if her bones were about to be crushed.

“You’re looking for a death wish!” Lan Liehuo snarled back, teeth bared.

Suddenly, someone was hitting him from below – little fists pounding repeatedly against his body, but without any real power.

Lan Liehuo looked down to see Xiao Yi bashing his fists against him with his little ebony eyes glaring up at him relentlessly.

Lan Liehuo lifted his leg to kick Beiming Yi. Gu Qingxin struggled to free herself and shielded Xiao Yi from his blow, taking the hit instead.

The two of them were knocked to the ground by his kick. Gu Qingxin, neglecting her own pain, anxiously checked on Xiao Yi, “Xiao Yi, are you hurt?”

Xiao Yi instantly shook his head, his eyes angrily fixed on the villain. Lan Liehuo looked back at him, somewhat bewildered. Why did that child look so much like his brother?

This kid wasn’t the offspring of Ye Yingsu and Beiming Han, was he?

Lan Liehuo snapped back to the present and grabbed Gu Qingxin again. He yanked her up off the ground while she struggled against him, “Let go of me! Don’t touch me!”@@novelbin@@

“Not touch you? Today, that’s exactly what I intend to do!” Lan Liehuo said as he pushed her down onto the ground and lunged towards her.

“Direct your vengeance towards me! Your brother died because of me! Nobody else is involved, especially not her!” Ye Yingsu charged forward risking everything, forcefully pushing off the man who was on top of Gu Qingxin.

Now free, Gu Qingxin shrank back in fear. She could no longer maintain her composure – her entire body was shaking uncontrollably.

“Whatever vengeance you see fit, I’m ready to accept it. I swear I won’t fight back as long as you don’t lay a finger on her. You can treat me however you want!”

Ye Yingsu shielded Gu Qingxin behind her. She no longer cared about the pain, she’d endured it before and could again. But Gu Qingxin couldn’t be ruined. Ye Yingsu knew that if anything happened to Qingxin, Beiming Han would truly go mad!

Lan Liehuo reached out and grabbed Ye Yingsu’s chin with his hand, his lips curling into a wicked smile. His gaze once again landed on Gu Qingxin’s face…
