But this increase in difficulty didn't stop Kelvin. He still made Glory-2 rush towards his objective.

But Glory-2 just didn't run at his full speed. He didn't even run at a tenth of his full speed. His actions were the opposite of hitting fast.

Because Glory-2 was slow, the stone was the first to reach Zero. It sailed through the air and landed close to Zero.

As Zero was wondering why a stone had suddenly appeared beside him, Glory-6 appeared from the stone, and Glory-3 stunned Zero's mind.

Unfortunately, Glory-3's ability didn't work on Zero. The mental attack was weakness and neutralized immediately when it touched Zero.

The mental attack didn't work on Zero's protector either. The person was just too strong.

The best that Glory-3 was able to achieve was a small distraction. But this distraction was enough for Glory-6 to scatter grenades into the surroundings.

The grenades exploded just as Glory-2 crashed into the crowd of people. The explosion harmed Zero as well as covered up his intrusion.

It was quite an intrusion. People were exploding as he smashed straight through them. If not for the explosion in front, a lot of people will be paying attention to him.

Unfortunately, the explosion didn't kill Zero because his protector took action. It seemed they had telekinesis. They used the force of their mind to scatter the power of the explosions.

However, the grenades that Glory-6 had released didn't produce only fire and shrapnel. Some of them produce gas and mist that would knock an elephant unconscious. They were all targeted at Zero.

From what Kelvin knew of the Patriarch, anything that touched the man would be neutralized. His nullification domain is not the only dangerous thing about him.

So none of the clones can touch him as long as Zero is conscious. If they do, they will lose their ability and be unable to capture Zero.

That's why Kelvin targeted Zero with normal weapons that couldn't be nullified. As long as the attack is not based on an ability, it will work on Zero.

It was a good plan. It worked so well that Zero was knocked unconscious.

The force of the explosion was scattered, but the toxic gases were still present and had saturated the air. Zero breathed in the gas and slumped. What Glory-3 couldn't do was done so easily.

Glory-2 came and grabbed Zero. Then he left with Zero while Glory-6 held back Zero's protector.

The protector was much stronger than Glory-6, but they couldn't do anything to Glory-6 because they couldn't touch the shadow.

Glory-2 took out knives and scattered them in the surroundings. Then he used those knives as jumping points to attack the protector.

He jumped from one knife to another while attacking the protector. His figure disappeared and reappeared in a flash all over the protector. It was as if he was s'more than one and was surrounding the protector.

When the person realized that they couldn't do anything to Glory-6, they ignored him and went after Zero. Glory-6 chased after them, but they didn't back down from hurrying after Zero.

No matter how fast Glory-2 ran, he couldn't lose the protector. It is because there was an invisible rope of force binding Zero to the protector.

The protector pulled on this rope and dragged Zero back to them. Glory-2 also rushed forward, but the force of the pull was so much that he was inevitably slowed down.

He slumped and fell to the ground. The pain he had holding back couldn't be resisted anymore. He succumbed to both the physical pain and the emotional despair of failure.

He laughed and said sarcastically, "I wonder who the trap was for."

It is clear who the trap was for. It had to be someone who knew Zero's true identity.

It could also be for anyone who hated Zero. There are plenty of those since Zero is a hero now. But Kelvin is more inclined to believe that it was a trap for him.

"If I didn't have my shadows right now, I would be right there surrounded by enemies. Maybe the real Zero is around somewhere."

No sooner had he said that than a nullification field spread around the surroundings. Glory-2, Glory-3, and Glory-6 were all caught in this field. Their ability was nullified immediately. Since they are based on their abilities, they all disappeared.
