Destroying My Own World

Chapter 319 Freedom.

"Jordan, we are here~" Sophia called as she waved her hand at the camera even though she was blind. "You need to keep your promise or we will tear this old building down~" she added as she giggled.

"Open the gate," Mykel said to the guard as he stood behind the gate.

The guard hesitated because he didn't want to take an order other than from Jordan. He didn't have the authority to decide to listen to Mykel's request even though he knew who he was.

"Open the gate for him," Jordan said as he held his head because he had the worst hangover of his entire life. Zachary was next to him and he was holding his head as well.

The gate was opened and the Sinners were confused when they saw Mykel, a person that they had never seen or heard before. His presence alone was enough to put them all on guard and prepared to grab the weapons that they hid underneath their clothes.

"I heard you guys want Trixter's body, but unfortunately I took it," Mykel said as he looked at every one of them. "Rather than the body, how about something that she possessed? Like this for example," he showed Trixter's essence in his right hand.

They were curious about the orb that Mykel was holding, and they wanted to look at it from up close. The problem was they were too wary of him so they didn't want to get too close to someone with an unnerving aura.

"I'll give you this and not only that, but I will also give your freedom back," Mykel said as he tossed the essence repeatedly. "But that is if you can win," he added.

"Who are you and why do you have that sigil?" Victoria asked and pointed at the pin on Mykel's suit since she knew exactly what it was, but she wanted to confirm it first.

"I'm Her Highness's personal adviser," Mykel answered and looked at the pin.

Victoria squinted her eyes and then she suddenly took a few steps back as she kept staring at Mykel.

"I'm out. I don't want anything to do with her or everyone that's loyal to her. Nothing good coming from him," Victoria said as she turned around.

"Is that how you look at it? Of who I am?" Mykel asked. "I wouldn't offer you freedom when I know your background and your hatred toward the royal family," he pointed out.

Victoria scoffed as she stopped her steps, "Freedom? There's no such a thing as freedom when working with that woman." "You're offering freedom but you're too blind to see that what we have right now is more than the freedom that you're offering," she added.

Everyone quietly listened to both of them and they understood and agreed with what Victoria said. The life they had on the island was more than anything the world could offer because there were no consequences for their actions. What happened on the island, stayed on the island and that was what freedom was for them.

In the first place, the reason why none of those criminals decided to leave was because of the freedom they had. Although they had to hunt for their own food, make their own clothes, and make their own place, those were nothing compared to living outside the island.

"So you're saying you have that much freedom in here?" Mykel asked and stared at Victoria.

Victory looked over her shoulder and stared back at Mykel through the corner of her eye.

"Freedom is a privilege, but you have to maintain that freedom if you want to live peacefully. Each one of you is obligated to protect the freedom you have. So, if that freedom really important to you, you should get rid of any threat that tries to destroy it, right?" Mykel asked as he put the essence in his pocket.

Sophia tilted her head and pulled out a sword and the blade looked like a saw. She knew what was going to happen and ordered her people to prepare to fight Mykel. Felix, Duncan, Sabel, and Victoria were doing the same thing and prepared to fight Mykel.

"We should help him," Jordan said, but before he could order his men to weapon up, Zachary put his hand on Jordan's shoulder.

"There's no need for that. You'll understand when you see it," Zachary said with a serious expression and kept staring at Mykel's back. "I think it would be over before you know it," he added with confidence.

The moment Zachary said that a loud shattering sound could be heard, and it was Sophia's sword that had shattered from Mykel's grasp. He was already standing in front of her and nobody knew when he moved or when he appeared right in front of her.

Sophia was still in shock because her ultra instinct couldn't react to Mykel's presence at all. She then felt a hand, grasping her face, and her body was slammed to the ground, making her feel all the pain in her back and the back of her head.

Felix, Duncan, Sable, and Victoria were watching Sophia's body buried in the ground. They could hear her bones cracking and the blood that she threw up covering Mykel's glove.

"You can start counting down from ten because your freedom will be gone when it reaches zero," Mykel said as he flicked his right hand to get rid of the blood on his glove. "You can start now," he smirked as he glanced at Victoria and disappeared.

Sabel opened a medicine bottle and when he was about to pull out a capsule from it, he felt a presence behind him. He didn't even think and immediately rolled over to avoid whatever was behind him.

When he wanted to stand up, he couldn't move his lower body at all, and when he looked down at his legs, his ankles broke. He then saw Mykel staring down at him with his foot right above his head. He didn't know what happened after that because Mykel stomped his head into the ground.

Duncan appeared right behind Mykel with his right fist ready to smash Mykel's small head that was smaller than his fist. Before his fist could reach Mykel's head, he was stopped by Mykel's fist, clashing with it and crushing the massive fist of Duncan.

"Don't bite your tongue," Mykel said and kicked Duncan's jaw with the tip of his toes from below.@@novelbin@@

The gold teeth flew out of his mouth and he bit off his tongue before all the teeth were gone from his mouth. He passed out not long after that, leaving only Felix and Victoria to deal with Mykel.

Mykel smirked and swung to do a back kick in the air, and when he swung his leg, he hit someone. It was Felix who was hiding his presence but he was sent into the jungle as his back broke the trees down. Since his body was skinny, he couldn't handle that much pressure and passed out before his body could hit the ground.

Victoria pulled out two daggers under her sleeves and readied to fight Mykel even though it was impossible for her to win against him. She thought that if she couldn't win, why not try to use everything from the start, unlike the others who failed to realize that.

Victoria created afterimages of herself, a total of six of them next to her, and then she wrapped her daggers with something that made them glow. She moved from one afterimage to another like a switch, making it impossible to predict her movements.

Mykel smiled and all the afterimages dispersed and made Victoria lose her strength. She fell on her knees and dropped her daggers because her hands were trembling uncontrollably. She didn't know what had happened, but she had never felt that amount of fear before. She then looked around her and saw everyone trembling on their knees as well.

"Seven seconds," Mykel said as he looked at his watch. "You have three seconds left to enjoy your freedom," he added as he forced Victoria to look him in the face by putting his hand under her chin.

Victoria spitted right at Mykel's face even though she was trembling in fear.

"I don't remember when was the last time someone spit on my face..." Mykel said as he wiped his face. "I'll remember this," he added as he stared into Victoria's soul with his cold gaze as he put his hand on her face.

Victoria didn't remember what happened after those glowing yellow eyes stared into her soul as if she was hypnotized by them.

Tristan was making a report in his office at dawn, and he saw two cars enter the palace through the window. He wondered who it was, but he remembered Mykel went to Isola Key Island, so he immediately went down to greet him.

When he went downstairs and came out of the palace, he saw Mykel standing at the front with Zachary next to him and the Five Sinners who were heavily injured. They were shackled, their necks, hands behind their backs, and chains on their ankles. He felt like the air around him disappeared and it suffocated him because of the presence of those criminals.

"(These people... I can feel their bloodlust all the way here...)" Tristan squinted his eyes as he gulped.

"Tristan, can you play with them while I report this to Her Highness?" Mykel asked.

"I don't want to be their toy, Sir Alester. I will inform Her Majesty right away," Tristan answered and hurriedly left and went to the main palace.

"Good choice," Zachary said under his breath.
