Destroying My Own World

Chapter 334 Strong together.

Agnigm turned the whole world inside the rift upside down with the bones that supported the ground. She indeed hadn't taken the fight seriously because she was preparing everything to fight Mykel. Since it had come to this, she shouldn't waste any more time to kill them all and prepare everything again for Mykel.

Everything was so dark at first since they were buried in the ground, and the moment the bones wiped the soil, Agnigm noticed something. She looked up and saw how bright the sky was even though it was supposed to be an eternal night. She saw a massive meteorite coming down toward her, and it was so big that she had to protect herself with stacks of bones above her.

"You're not allowed to do that, bitch," Victoria folded her fan and removed the bones around Agnigm.

Agnigm was surprised that Victoria was still alive, and then she looked at the far distance and saw everyone was still alive. They were safely away from her even though they were around her not long ago. She wondered what had happened but then she saw a portal behind them, a portal that belonged to one of the Twelve Big Bossess.

It was already too late for Agnigm to dodge it and took the massive meteorite in the face. Before the meteorite hit her, Victoria and the others entered the portal that led to the rift and left the rift before the shockwave killed them.

The problem didn't end there because Sophia was still enraged and had been trying to cut everyone around her. Duncan and Sabel could stop her, but they couldn't get her back to her senses.@@novelbin@@

Victoria approached Sophia who was trying to bite Duncan's hand, but then Victoria smacked Sophia's head with the folded fan. It was enough to make Sophia stop resisting, and then Victoria slapped her with the back of her hand so hard that Sophia lost consciousness.

"That looks painful..." Javelin raised her eyebrows.

"I think if it's a normal people that got hit by that, their heads would spin many times," Zachary pointed out. "Well, that's that. What are we going to do now? We can't let Agnigm breathe even for a moment," he asked Victoria.

"It's your turn now. You should be able to handle the situation on your own with Javelin's help, right?" Victoria asked back as she walked toward Zachary.

Zachary nodded his head and then entered the rift with Javelin.

The Big Bosses were curious why Victoria let those two deal with Agnigm while they were out there doing nothing. Victoria didn't tell them because she didn't want anyone to know Zachary's ability. Sophia and the others knew about it from Mykel, so they understood why Victoria let Zachary in.

"You're still able to fight, right?" Zachary asked.

"I'm good to go. I'll support you from here, so be careful out there, okay?" Javelin asked back as she patted Zachary's shoulder.

"I have a lot of things to try out. I won't let that demon live for another day," Zachary answered and looked at the massive crater in front of him.

Zachary slid down the crater and looked at the burned bones that were slowly becoming ashes. He looked around to find where Agnigm was, but it was hard to see because of the ashes. Suddenly he saw a notification that a dangerous being was targeting him.

That warning notification was one of the abilities that he received from one of his achievements. The ability to know when someone had a bad intention toward him and it gave him to power when he was dealing with the one who intended to hurt him.

[You are alone and all of your status has been multiplied by 3]

"Perfect timing..." Zachary swung his sword around and then he turned around and swung his sword really hard.

Agnigm had a different appearance and it surprised Zachary when she had turned into gray metallic. She didn't have any skin on her, her bones and skull were the only things she had left.

Zachary couldn't overpower Agnigm's strength and he was slightly weaker than her. But Thanks to his sword, Agnigm's bones couldn't withstand how sharp and sturdy the Light Sword was. Knowing that he had the upper hand, he decided to push forward and threaten Agnigm that he could kill her.

The fight was fierce as sparks were produced each time those two clashed and Javelin wondered what she should do to help. She couldn't use her ultimate binding spell like last time because she had to create the magic circle around Agnigm.

"Should I try to use that now?" Javelin mumbled as she watched the intense battle.

Agnigm's bones were cracked from clashing with the Light Sword and she knew she couldn't win against him because of that. The Goddess of Light, the only being that could overpower demons with her light alone, but now she had to deal with her sword was a bit too much.

Agnigm took the risk and clashed her shin with the Light Sword, shattering her leg, but enough to kick Zachary away and her toes hit him right in the face. It was painful for both of them, especially when Agnigm couldn't regenerate her wounds like she normally would because of the power from the Light Sword.

"How did you get that sword?" Agnigm asked and looked at Zachary who struggled to stand up.

"That's none of your business. What matters is you're going to die by this sword," Zachary readied his stance after he recovered and was no longer dizzy from the kick.

"You wis—" Before Agnigm could finish her sentence, needles of light struck her from behind and impaled her to the ground.

Zachary dashed forward and swung his sword with all his might at Agnigm, but Agnigm's wings blocked his attack. He couldn't penetrate those wings, but he could see the bones cracking. He then noticed Agnigm got weaker because he could push her wings back slowly but it was noticeable.

"This magic..." Agnigm coughed black blood as the glowing white needles that looked like spears started to glow brighter. "Why every one of you gathered here!" She glared at Zachary and pierced his chest with her tail she burrowed into the ground and stabbed him in the back.

"Thanks for the hard work, Zach," Victoria's voice could be heard from behind Agnigm. "Toss me your sword for a second," she said.

Agnigm looked over her shoulder, but the same needles of light pierced right into her forehead. Her body felt like it had been electrocuted and burned at the same time. She then glanced at Victoria who grabbed the Light Sword and cut off her head like butter with the help of her [Aura Blade] and [Bloodlust] abilities.

Just like that, Agnigm was defeated by the hands of humans that were supposed to be impossible to kill. At first, the Big Bosses couldn't believe they could kill an entity that could destroy the world in a single night, but after they witnessed how strong those people were, they were terrified of why humans like them were allowed to possess such power.

Zachary and Victoria collapsed after the notification appeared that they had killed Agnigm. There was nothing to worry about anymore, so they had been enduring the pain and letting the others deal with the rest.

Duncan and the others slid down the crater to check on Zachary and Victoria. When the Big Bosses wanted to touch Agnigm's body, Sophia blocked them with her sword. They weren't allowed to touch the body since the body belonged to Mykel.

(At the Southern Beach)

Mykel was drinking in the bar inside the villa with Aevia sitting next to him to show him the situation inside the rift. He wasn't surprised that they could kill Agnigm and he already knew it was possible the moment he knew that Frigna was the one they had to kill. On the other hand, Aevia was quite surprised that they could kill her even though it was supposed to be impossible.

"I know that the outcome is predetermined, but I still don't believe a bunch of weaklings can kill a strong demon like her," Aevia said.

"Why is it that surprising? Zachary possesses Jeanne's Light Sword and abilities. Victoria possesses both Aurea and Lillith's abilities. Sabel's abilities are also scaling to the point where he would overpower the others. Javelin is universal when it comes to any situation she's in and will stand out. There are so many things that can turn the tides," Mykel explained and drank his vodka. "The most important part is those Gods know how strong those demons are, and there's no way they wouldn't help humans to the best of their abilities," he added.

"So what you're saying is even without your existence here, they could survive?" Aevia rested her head on her fist.

"At some point, after billions of lives as their sacrifices. I'm just making things go very well. That's why the Gods don't mind my existence here, at least that's what I think," Mykel answered.

Aevia hummed and then looked over her shoulder, staring at the door as she chuckled. She then disappeared at the same time when Elysande came into the bar, looking around. She was happy when she saw Mykel sitting at the counter on her own, and so she approached him and sat beside him.

"Hi..." Elysande looked at Mykel with a huge smile on her face.

"Hi. Would you like to drink with me, Ely?" Mykel asked as he offered a bottle of whiskey. Enjoy exclusive content from My Virtual Library Empire

"I would like to have what you're drinking," Elysande pointed at the bottle of vodka. "I used to love drinking this back then," she said and grabbed the glass as she asked Mykel to pour it.

Mykel chuckled as he poured vodka into Elysande's glass, and she wanted the glass to be full. He gave her what she wanted and then she emptied the whole glass in a single gulp. She was fine like drinking water which impressed Mykel.

"So you were telling the truth when you were quite rebellious back then," Mykel said as he stared into Elysande's eyes.

"To a certain point, but I have no knowledge about love and romance since I have been in a girl school and college why whole life," Elysande answered as she offered her glass to be filled.

"Ely, your face is already red," Mykel gently put his hand on Elysande's cheek. "You don't need to prove anything to me. I admire you for who you are," he pointed out as he stroked her hair and tucked her hair.

"I don't want to be admired because there are a lot of people who admire me," Elsyande grabbed Mykel's hand and stared back at him. "I want to be loved, by you," she said.

Mykel stared at Elysande for a few seconds and suddenly he lifted her and put her on top of the counter. He wrapped his hands at the back of her waist and pulled her closer to his body.

"Then I'll love you tonight, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and until the day you don't need it anymore," Mykel responded and kissed Elysande passionately.
