Deus: We are all Lords

Chapter 161 Reward

Chapter 161  Reward

With how many lords there were in the Alliance, Kingsley expected that some truly powerful ones would exist within their ranks.

Even he, an outsider, knew that there were at least a million people in the Alliance so amongst that million, he expected the selected five to be their absolute strongest which should be a person with talents that puts them on par with a disaster rank soldier.

However, it seems he was wrong, they were much weaker. Spreading his consciousness to the rest of his territory, he could see the lords who were screaming in jubilation while some mourned the dead lords.

He, himself, couldn't exactly take part in all these since he now had more important work to do. Governing and managing his territory.

The territory size had long since surpassed the borders of the Aenon forest and the Dead lands which alone occupied at least a million hectares or around 10,000 square kilometres.

It was a lot of land, then adding the extra gained land, and he had at least sixteen million hectares of land that were either empty or had natives residing in them. Now due to the recent win, he could feel his territory increasing again and the reward which granted each governor territory and his, an extra fifteen thousand hectares.

In simple terms, he had more land than several Earth countries combined. From the transmitter he could fit in at least two of the country, Belarus into his new territory and there would still be enough space for nearly 50,000 Monaco.

The problem with this now wasn't even the lords that were within his territory that had yet to surrender, it was to have control over his territory.

It was too big, but there wasn't any form of governance to manage all of it, this meant that apart from his innate connection to his territory and his nigh omniscience in the territory, there was nothing else that could reach the far ends of the territory.

"Thank you, your majesty" Jerry said as he stood up.

"No, I should be thanking you all, your victory has pushed us forward towards our goal even further than before, and I think for you, that search may have lessened a bit" Kingsley said as he held the man.

"You found them?"

"I am not sure about your wife, but your son has been found" Kingsley said with a proud smile.

His own family may have not being found, but this was till something to be proud of. Many of his governors joined not just because of his strength, but also because they wanted to find their loved ones as well.

Many of them had been reunited with their loved ones but finding Jerry's son was something that Kingsley took somewhat personally. This was simply because Jerry was his first governor, so held a special position in the territory. "Can I meet him?" Jerry asked as he fought back the tears.

Kingsley didn't blame him, since this was a man that had already taken it that his family was dead, so this news really hit him hard.

"Of course, you can, but he's still in his territory, he's safe, I made sure of that" Kingsley replied.

It was true that he had found the man's son, but he hadn't had time to actually bring the boy to the castle, since the territory had only recently expanded. He had yet to even truly register all that was within the territory. He just knew that there were many territories within his now very expansive territory, and this included both human and Native alike. As for how he was able to find Jerry's son, it was simple. DNA matching, it was something he didn't know he was doing it, but that didn't matter, he was omnipotent. He could sense the familiarity between Jerry and the boy.

"Thank you, your majesty" Jerry said. "You're welcome, now for you all, Isheen… from your expression you didn't get to test out your new skill" Kingsley asked "It was none of that, your majesty the enemy was simply too weak that they weren't worthy of our blades" Isheen replied as Kingsley nodded with a smile.

He wasn't comfortable with such talks, but who was he to correct him. They said that experience was the best teacher so he expected it to humble him, though in this situation, it may have been the case.

"You all have done well and have earned to ask for any wish of your choice and if it within my power, I shall fulfil it" Kingsley said before the whole lot gasped.

It wasn't just the governors; Kingsley saw the present Monarchs gasp as well, but he just chuckled. It was a great deal alright, but the last time he promised this, he ended up making it impossible for them to even cash in on the promise.

The native leaders may do all they might, but they could never reach more people than he currently can. It hadn't even been a week since that promise was made, but he now had territory that covered an area more than a million times theirs.

"Your majesty, are you sure about this?" Viktor asked in a whisper to which Kingsley simply nodded.

"I will be giving you all till tomorrow to come up with something so for now, focus on your rest, I am assuming that it is not easy seeing the death of your kind for the first time" Kingsley said remembering the first time he saw a human being killed in this world.

He was used to human dead bodies but seeing a human being killed was a whole different thing, and it was much worse when you are the cause of said death. "Thank you, your majesty" they all said before bowing.

"You're welcome… oh and Jerry, you can meet me later about your son" Kingsley said before turning around to leave @@novelbin@@

"What the f**k?!!" Kingsley suddenly screamed just before he entered the castle

Hearing him, the entourage immediately became alert, prepared for whatever it was that was to happen. The thrones had long since drawn their swords, ready for an attack.
