Devil Slave (Satan system)

Chapter 922: His Cry 2

However, all that met Lady Vinegar’s eyes were the gag-inducing torn corpses of the demons that had taken the child.

But that was not all. Far off at a corner was a creature, cradling the baby in its embrace, as if to to comfort the child.

The moment Luca set sight on her, he raised his little chubby arms to reach for her, as he laughed in excitement.

Meanwhile, Lady Vinegar had taken a very defensive position for fighting. At the same time, she actually felt fear from the aura that came from the creature.

But before she would actually do any thing, the creature she could barely see its form suddenly disappeared. It was as if what she had seen was a mirage, her eyes playing a trick on her.

All that was left was the baby on the ground.

Immediately, she hurried to the child and took him in her embrace. She could not help but hold him tight as tears fell from her eyes, "Luca, My Luca! I am so sorry. I am so sorry my baby."

Meanwhile, the baby yawned a bit. He was tired. He nestled deeper into her embrace and slept off.

The Sand storm outside would be for a while longer. She had no choice but to stay with him here. But in truth, she rather not. She could not help but remember the creature she saw.

Although she had not seen its true form, it still sent shivers down her spine. After all, she had sensed its aura.

Lady vinegar had been against different kinds of foes in her long life, and had even fought against undead creatures and even creatures of the Nether.

But Never ever had she had to face one that made her blood run so cold.

This made her look at the sleeping child, "what the hell are you, Luca?" she asked out loud.

Of course, the person that had asked this was Vine.

Unknown to her, somewhere deep in space, a person relaxing in her chair suddenly raised her eyes to the sound of the baby’s cry that had echoed across space.

"Unbelievable! It cannot be. One with Solomon’s bloodline still exists?"

She waved her hands, as runes activated in the vessel. "My sisters will be very happy. Set a course for Orion’s belt. Sub plane there, has our young master..."

The Vessel suddenly transformed. Before, it had been a simple asteroid floating in space, but blue runes shone on its body and instantly it transformed, morphing and shaping into a giant octopus.

Yes! this was a space ship that had been in disguise, but was similarly, a living creature.

Meanwhile, back on the Eighth earth, Clawed appraised the work and capabilities of Menel. and to his surprise, the witch was more capable than he thought.

With his help alone, two days of work for building the portal that would take Lenny to Purgatory was canceled.

Clawed even thought of integrating Menel into other future projects.

He was not aware of the sharp sinister glow in Menel’s eyes.

At the same time, Grudge’s message had reached his sister, Loathe, and her shadow already hovered close to morgana from time to time.

Of course, Morgana was too much of a case to take over her body. Besides, Loathe did not want to die like her sister.

Each of lenny’s family members had a little piece of his holy power in them. Holy power was dangerous to these beings. But that did not mean that suggestive thoughts could not be placed in her mind from time to time.

After all, Morgana already disliked the likes of Nikky a great deal. And to top it off, since Lenny had made her a family member, he had not even agreed to meet her once.

She was starting to get on edge, and several times, she had contemplated causing chaos in the territory so that she could get his attention.

All she wanted was for him to scold her, and she would feel a little loved.

But She knew that doing that was going to cause harm to lenny’s progress. She was a mad woman at heart, but still smart enough to understand the different needs that she had.

Then again, it did not stop Loathe from putting ideas once in a while in her mind, slowly building up the influence.

Loki visited one more time.

This time around, he had not come with gifts, instead, he had come to simply play a game of Chess with Father Black. However, once the chess match was over, which of course, was a win for Father Black, Loki smiled at father Black, "Your skills have improved even more. It would seem like you have been practicing."

Father Black nodded, "To play against a god and win is a privilege. Yes! a privilege indeed. Of course, its on the condition that the god let you win."

Father Black smirked a little. He knew that what Loki had said was true. However he just could not figure out why Loki would let him win.

Loki chuckled lowly, "do not think too much of it. Since you did well, why don’t I leave you with something."

Father Black waved his hand, "thank you, but the gifts you gave us the last time are more than enough. Besides, here on earth, we have an adage that a gift received is a favor owed in disguise."

Loki chuckled loudly, "really, well, humans always have a way of connecting with the nature of the soul without fully comprehending it. I agree with you. But this time around, I am not leaving you with a gift. Just a piece of advice."

Father Black raised his brow at the god, but Loki continued, "I am sure your king must have noticed by now. And you as his regent are also aware. They are beings that can enter your..." he paused a bit, "Demeter... without following the cosmic rule.

I don’t know what you call them, but we call them Emotional Entities... If you ever need help against..."

"Don’t worry, LOKI! we can handle ourselves just alright."

Loki smiled, but this time around, it was as if his eyes were smiling, "of course you can!"
