The eighth day of the store concluded shortly. Just an hour after Lin Mo returned, the store welcomed five more new customers, filling in the last of the Divine Interface System's Daily Tasks.

Surprisingly, the one who brought those new customers was the first customer of the store. Xue Biyu, an Elder of the White Ember Sect.

When the man saw Lin Mo who had now become a cultivator and how the store had changed in just a week, he was flabbergasted. It was that unbelievable to him.

Luckily for him, he got dragged away by another Elder of the White Ember Sect to check out the aisles, bringing him out of his stupor.

Liu Xiaoyu once mentioned taking Xue Biyu to be Lin Mo's master in cultivation but that was already unnecessary. Besides, Xue Biyu probably never even thought of that.

"Boss! Here, I found three core cultivation techniques that may be good for you. You can have your pick. One of them is from the same sect where your Silent Stream Breathing Technique came from. As a bonus from your helpful assistant, I also picked a combat technique manual for you."

The moment the last customer of the day exited the Divine Convenience Store, Liu Xiaoyu appeared from the aisle where the lost cultivation manuals were displayed on its shelves. Somehow, it's still the most unpopular section of the store. The same restriction wasn't present in Lin Mo and Liu Xiaoyu, allowing them to browse it anytime they wanted.

Lin Mo raised an eyebrow at the manuals in her hands, setting aside his mental calculations of the day's revenue. At the moment, Yangyang and Xiao Ya were at the Employee's Lounge, picking what they could eat for dinner.

Upon taking the three core cultivation technique manuals from Liu Xiaoyu, he read their titles with keen interest.

It's only been a week and look at you, you've already grasped the power in your hand. Lin Mo tapped his fingers on the counter, considering Liu Xiaoyu's words. She had a point. The [Everflowing Serenity Sutra] wasn't just about cultivating strength—it was about balance, adaptability, and clarity. He had a lot on his plate, and if he was going to keep up with the rapid changes around him, his mind needed to be as sharp as his cultivation base.

He glanced at the two manuals again.

Upon hearing that price, Lin Mo hurriedly accessed the system and appraised the two manuals.

Liu Xiaoyu laughed and tossed it back, "Suit yourself. But don't come crying to me when you realize body cultivators can tank many mystical spells and attacks like they're getting hit with feathers."

"I'll live." Lin Mo tucked the two chosen manuals under his arm, "What about the bonus you mentioned?

Liu Xiaoyu clapped her hands. "Here's the bonus combat technique manual boss, [Crimson Flow Phantom Steps]. It was a movement technique rather than a direct combat skill, focusing on evasive maneuvers and seamless footwork."

"Did you choose that because I'm slow?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at Liu Xiaoyu.

"Well… you're half correct, Boss. Come on. Don't you have faith in me? Movement technique is more valuable for you at the moment. I can help you choose a proper combat technique or a martial arts manual once you cultivate that to Proficient Realm. I just thought you could use a little more finesse in your fights. You can rely on your raw strength for now but you don't really move like a proper cultivator yet."

Lin Mo exhaled through his nose. She wasn't wrong. In fact, even as a cultivator, he never fought yet. Not to mention, he wasn't so much as a brawler back on Earth so… he's a complete newbie in anything regarding combat.

Lin Mo's lips twitched once more as he glanced at his snickering assistant, "Xiaoyu, admit it. You just wanted to drain my saved-up balance, right?"

The young woman whistled exaggeratedly, "What are you talking about, Boss?"
