Perhaps, one could find a hundred reasons not to like the New England Patriots, but since the turn of the twenty-first century, they have been the most consistent and outstanding team in the League—

without compare.

The partnership of Belichick and Brady was the most threatening in the League, creating countless histories, even though people outside the New England region fundamentally disliked them.

Since the new century, the New England Patriots had deeply imprinted with the mark of Bill Belichick.

Belichick's desire for victory had reached an obsessive degree, with no warmth or friendship within the team. Everything was measured by victory, which led him to unparalleled success; however, at the same time, he became known as the most cold-hearted coach in the League.

Apart from Brady, Belichick had no warm feelings for any other player or fan.

Over the years, countless players had come and gone without leaving much trace in Foxborough, leading to remarks that only Brady and Belichick were the unshakable cornerstones, and any other player on the Patriots team could be traded—

From various indications, the breakup wasn't as amicable as stated in the joint declaration.

Let's return to the present moment, in the 2017 season, as the defending champions, the New England Patriots had a regular-season record of thirteen wins and three losses, still the most formidable contenders for the Super Bowl, with Belichick and Brady's partnership quietly continuing to break records.

Kansas City Chiefs defeated New England Patriots? A rookie running back became a superhero? An Asian face replacing Brady as the new face of the League?

No, no, no, all of these are wrong. The New England Patriots must rewrite history and correct every single mistake, returning to the right track.

In the regular season opener, that was just a show, an accident, a minor incident, something a king-like New England Patriots wouldn't take to heart; but the playoffs are different, how dare the Kansas City Chiefs try to rise above their station and covet victory? This time, the New England Patriots definitely won't take it lightly.

Things must be set right!

As the car door opened, what greeted the Kansas City Chiefs was a barrage of curses, each uglier and dirtier than the next. Even the seasoned Houston couldn't help but slightly change his color.

Noticing from across the aisle, Revis glanced at Houston. He actually didn't want to get involved, but still couldn't help saying a word.

"If you're worried about the rookie, there's no need."

"All the people outside combined can't even harm a single hair on him."

Houston looked at Revis, the renowned Island King who kept his distance from everyone in the team, yet he didn't expect him to actually stand up for Li Wei.

So, is this a good thing?

Houston thought for a moment. "Actually, I'm worried about them getting hurt by the rookie."

Meanwhile, a bus up ahead slowly came to a stop.

Li Wei was packing his luggage ready to get off, only to see Mahomes and Kelsey crammed in the aisle, looking at him with faces full of worry.

Turning his head, Li Wei glanced, "This is a good thing. Last time we came to Foxborough, they didn't even consider us worth cursing; but now they've started."

"The louder and fiercer, the more afraid they are."

"It's a breakdown."

Pfft.

Smith couldn't help but burst out laughing, and the others couldn't hold back either, one by one they started laughing, the previously tense atmosphere quietly dissipated.

Li Wei stood up with a tranquil expression on his face.

"They are so scared, we don't need to look fierce and bully the weak, it's bad to damage the flowers and plants."

Saying this, Li Wei squeezed past Kelsey and walked off the bus with a light step.
