It wasn’t until quite a while later that Lily finally found her voice.

“Lena, what on earth happened, how could this be? Who is the damned bastard that did this? Tell me, I will find him and tear him to pieces!”

Lily’s eyes were red with rage as she tightly gripped Lena Hammond’s wrist.

Just before entering the room, she had tossed aside every word the doctor had advised her about keeping calm so as not to upset the patient.

Now, all she wanted to do was to protect Lena Hammond and punish those villains.

Lily clutched Lena’s hand and asked hoarsely, “Lena, tell me, who did this! What exactly has happened during this time?”

She had only been away for four years; how could it have come to this!?

“It was Rowena Gray…” Lena bit down on her teeth, finally spitting out the name of the woman.

Her tears had already run dry at the moment she saw Lily yesterday.

Now, as she recounted that nightmare, only resentment and hatred filled the dark depths of her eyes.

“Rowena Gray, how dare she?!”

No wonder Lena was so frantically insisting she stop Rowena yesterday.

That woman Rowena Gray, she actually did something like this to Lena.

Lena shook her head, “No, it’s not that he doesn’t want to marry Skye. Dylan Wellington, he’s a celibate.”

“A celibate!?”

Fed up, Lily cursed under her breath, “If he’s a celibate, then why is he dating? Is he toying with Skye’s emotions? Skye has been with him for over four years, and she’s clearly not a celibate. If he didn’t want to get married, he could have said so earlier; why waste a girl’s youth?”

No wonder Dylan Wellington loved to play games with people before he met Skye.

So he was a celibate after all.

Whether or not he marries is nobody else’s business; that’s his personal freedom.

But it is wrong of him to waste Skye’s youth!

If he didn’t want to get married, he shouldn’t have gotten involved with Skye, and certainly should have made things clear to her sooner.

Four years of dating, and he only mentions it after they’ve been living together; he truly is scum of the earth.

“You really are Skye’s good friend; her initial reaction was much like yours now,” Lena said.

With a temper fiercer than Lily’s, Skye had immediately had a big fight with Dylan Wellington.
