Chapter 1025: Emerald Demon Warship Deployment

TL: GoldenLung

Lan Xuanyu spent the entire afternoon writing and sketching, seemingly calculating something, until night fell.

“You all stay here and rest. Don’t go anywhere. I need to head out for a bit. Without the Treasure Seeking Beast to mask your presence while I’m gone, it’ll be very easy for you to be exposed. Be careful. I’ll be back soon,” Lan Xuanyu said to his companions as he put away the pile of papers he had been working on.

“What are you going to do? Do you want us to come with you?” Bai Xiuxiu asked.

Lan Xuanyu shook his head. “No need. I’ll be faster on my own.”

Without waiting for more questions, he opened the window and quietly leapt out, concealed by the Treasure Seeking Beast.

Outside, the fresh air greeted him. Lan Xuanyu had the Treasure Seeking Beast scan the surroundings with its spiritual consciousness to ensure everything was safe before gently lifting into the air. In the next instant, a green light flew from his chest. Lan Xuanyu quickly merged with that green light. With a flash, he disappeared as if phasing through space itself, leaving no trace behind.

As he fused with the green light and flew into the sky, Lan Xuanyu experienced a profound sense of freedom—like the feeling of soaring wherever he pleased between heaven and earth. The air flowed around him; his body seemed to become one with space itself, as everything around flickered between illusion and reality.

Just one word: fast!

Incredibly fast.

This was the Emerald Demon Warship, created using the remains of the Emerald Demon Bird. It was the pinnacle of human biotechnology and the peak of warship technology.

The Emerald Demon Warship was Lan Xuanyu’s true trump card. Its unmatched speed and power were the real reasons he dared come here.

With it, even if he was alone, Lan Xuanyu was confident he could escape from an ordinary god-level powerhouse.

Even his closest companions didn’t fully know about the Emerald Demon Warship—it was the greatest secret shared by Tang Sect, Shrek Academy, and the soul beasts of Senluo Planet.

The Douluo Federation had always known that Tang Sect had its own warships. They even knew the locations and technological levels of most of them. The only restriction the Federation placed on Tang Sect was that they were not allowed to manufacture warships above a certain class—the warship class was the Federation’s upper limit.

But what the Federation didn’t know was that Tang Sect’s most advanced warships weren’t on the home planet, nor on any human-occupied world, but on Senluo Planet, in the soul beast realm.

Lan Xuanyu wasn’t sure how many Biological Warships Tang Sect had. He only knew of two: the Emerald Demon Warship, and the Silver-Armored Roc Warship.

When he first saw the Silver-Armored Roc Warship, it wasn’t fully completed yet, but he could already sense its power.

After coming to Celestial Dragon Planet and learning that the strongest combat force wasn’t warships but Dragon Knights, Lan Xuanyu immediately thought of Biological Warships.

Were Dragon Knights and Biological Warships similar in concept? Dragon Knights were true living beings—not machines. In terms of technology, they certainly didn’t match up to Biological Warships, nor did they have the auxiliary functions of such ships. But Dragon Knights had unique advantages that warships didn’t: high mobility as living beings, synergy between dragon and rider, and clearly special weapons like the Dragon Spear—all of which made them extremely powerful.

Lan Xuanyu had to learn more about Dragon Knights. As a bearer of Dragon God blood, the knowledge of Dragon Knights on Celestial Dragon Planet could prove vital to his future advancement.

His speed was so fast that even when he passed by flying dragons in the sky, they only sensed a flash of light before it vanished.

Celestial Dragon Planet was truly massive. Even traveling in the Emerald Demon Warship, which could approach the speed of light, it still took time to reach his destination.

But he kept the warship’s speed suppressed. Anything moving faster than the speed of light near a planetary surface would cause spatial disruptions, which would definitely alert the authorities of Celestial Dragon Planet. So he kept it above the speed of sound but below the speed of light.

He streaked past brilliantly lit cities and across pitch-dark forests, occasionally pausing to check his direction and confirm his flight path before speeding off again.

It didn’t take long before Lan Xuanyu reached his destination.

The green light quietly vanished as he silently landed in a narrow alleyway.

The alley was barely two meters wide, flanked by tall buildings. It was more of a dead-end passageway than a real street—just a gap between structures.

Lan Xuanyu walked out of the alley looking like an inconspicuous Blue Sea clan member. Even his appearance was different from before.

The streets were bustling with people from many races. The central road, the widest one, was reserved for the Dragon Clan. This place was even livelier than Fenglong City.

And that made perfect sense—this was Dragon City, the capital of Celestial Dragon Planet and the most prosperous, bustling place in the entire Dragon-Horse Galaxy.

Thanks to the Emerald Demon Warship’s rapid travel, Lan Xuanyu had arrived in Dragon City. The most important objective of his visit to Celestial Dragon Planet, the one he and his companions shared, was tied to this city.

From Fenglong City to Dragon City was an enormous distance. In fact, Dragon City was practically on the opposite side of Celestial Dragon Planet. Lan Xuanyu had crossed nearly half the planet in the warship to get here.

The life energy in Dragon City was overwhelmingly rich—it made the very air feel thick. Lan Xuanyu was almost certain that the planet’s Life Essence was located in this city.

That dense life force was extremely tempting to him. He couldn’t help but take a few deep breaths. Cultivating here would clearly bring immense benefits.

However, he didn’t belong to this planet. With his current cultivation, training here wouldn’t yet draw attention, since his power was still well below the threshold to trigger the Life Essence’s awareness. But once he reached a higher level and began absorbing large amounts of life energy, he’d definitely be noticed.

What an amazing place!

Taking another deep breath, Lan Xuanyu walked slowly along the street, observing his surroundings.

Compared to Fenglong City, Dragon City’s most notable feature was its refinement. The architecture was far more exquisite—less rugged, more luxurious.

Even the various races here were smaller in stature but clearly more powerful. As he walked, Lan Xuanyu sensed several intense auras. These were all beings whose cultivation levels—or at least energy levels—were higher than his.

He had no idea how many Dragon Knights were in this city. Even if many had been summoned away by the Celestial Dragon, there were surely some remaining behind to guard Dragon City.

Suddenly, Lan Xuanyu’s pupils contracted. He felt something strange and instinctively looked up at the sky.
