Chapter 30: Chapter 30: Opportunity Exhausted, No Next Time Chapter 30: Chapter 30: Opportunity Exhausted, No Next Time “Bella Woods, are you causing trouble again?”

Oliver Hughes didn’t like hearing Bella bring this up, “You don’t understand your position. Are you trying to beg me to reconcile like last night?”

“After canceling, I would never beg you to get back together,” Bella said firmly.

“Do you think your family will agree?”

“Like this?” Bella pointed at Rose Woods, who was still lying weak on the ground.

She sneered, “Even if I’m not figuratively eaten alive by my family for canceling the engagement, I’ll be caught cheating again and again, and my reputation will be ruined.”

“Oliver Hughes, did Aunt Cyan ever say that being your fiancée involves dealing with being caught cheating?”

Oliver was initially angry about Bella causing a scene and canceling the engagement, but this statement left him with no room for rebuttal.

“This matter…”

“I know you look down on me, think I rely on you, someone from the countryside,” Bella mocked.

“But Oliver, even without you, I could still get a special admission to Peace University through my artistic talent from the countryside.

Without you, I can still rank first in the city and step into Peace University.”

“As for you saying that my Woods Family depends on your Hughes Family. That’s the Woods Family’s business, if you want feedback you should talk to the Woods Family, talk to her!”

Bella pointed again at Rose.

Rose regained her senses unwillingly, “Bella Woods, what are you being arrogant about, you…”

“Shut up.” Oliver warned.

Rose was still indignant, “It’s Bella Woods, Bella calculating against me, I…”

“I told you to shut up!”

Oliver stepped forward and kicked Rose, causing her to roll on the ground.

She rolled to the feet of a couple who were dressed and about to leave.

The man and woman both spat at Rose before opening the door to leave.

“Bella.”

Oliver sighed, making a surrender gesture with his hands, “This matter, I believed Rose’s words. It was my fault, I apologize to you and guarantee I will never suspect you over this matter again.”

“Young Master Oliver is apologizing to me?” Bella found it quite a miraculous thing.

Oliver licked his dry lips, “I’ve apologized before too.”

“Is that so.”

Even though she said so, Bella knew it was different.

At the family banquet, Oliver was kicked to the ground by Daniel Hughes, forced to apologize.

Finally, Tim Season’s arrival, a few nonchalant words, was more like a decree from Third Young Master Marshall, forcing Oliver to lower his head in apology.

The apology under pressure and the apology out of guilt today are completely different.

“I promise this kind of thing won’t happen again,” Oliver closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

“You want this to pass?”

“It was just a misunderstanding,” Oliver emphasized.

“But I remember Uncle Hughes saying that an apology with only lip service is the most insincere.”

Bella’s words made Oliver freeze for a few seconds.

He subconsciously unlocked his phone and was stunned for a few seconds by the lock screen.

“This is my phone,” Bella reminded, “I left it on the sofa. Did you unlock it to snoop through my chat records?”

“Misunderstanding…” Oliver initially wanted to explain but ultimately gave up.

He handed the phone back to Bella, “I’m truly sorry for doubting you.”

He then used his own phone to transfer five million to Bella, “Tomorrow, I’ll have someone send some gifts to the Woods Family as my compensation and apology.”

“Did you find anything on my phone?”

Bella clutched her phone, looking at the five million she received.

“Can we let this matter go?”

Bella put away her phone and smiled at Oliver, “Sure.”

Young Master’s patience was running thin, if she kept pushing, Young Master might turn hostile.

“Is the engagement next week still valid?” Oliver pushed for the key answer.

“Misunderstandings are past, why wouldn’t the engagement be valid?”

Bella’s words clearly satisfied Young Master.

When she sensed Oliver was reaching to touch her, Bella stepped back a pace, “It’s late, I should head back.”

She turned and walked away.

As she passed the prostrate Rose on the floor, Bella reminded, “Please trouble Young Master Oliver, to send my sister home. She’s still young, and if she doesn’t return home too late, the family will worry.”

She walked out without pause.

It seemed she could still hear Rose cursing her, but Bella didn’t care.

She treated Rose as a sister.

Since Rose didn’t see her as a sister, why should she foolishly forgive all of Rose’s absurdities?

Inside the restroom.

Oliver watched Bella leave, unable to hide the displeasure on his face.

His eyes were filled with gloom.

Ultimately, his gaze locked onto Rose, as he walked toward her.

Rose, who had been cursing Bella for scheming against her, shrunk back in fear under Oliver’s gaze, using her arms to prop herself and retreat.

Oliver crouched in front of Rose, “Do you know, this is the first time I’ve lost face like this?”

“Brother Oliver, this is a misunderstanding. I didn’t scheme against Bella; please believe me, give me another chance, I’ll definitely find evidence of Bella cheating on you, can you believe me?”

Rose reached out, trying to grab Oliver’s pants to plead.

“In front of Bella, I have no face.”

Oliver cruelly pulled away Rose’s hand clutching his trousers.

As he stood, a few bodyguards from Paradise World rushed in.

Oliver looked down at Rose, exuding authority, “Remember, just now if it was untrue, what did you say you would do?”

“No, no, Brother Oliver!”

Rose’s eyes widened in plea, but as she tried to touch Oliver’s pant leg once more, Oliver mercilessly stepped over her hand and walked away.

Two bodyguards lifted Rose and dragged her to a stall, opening the toilet lid.

Immediately, a foul stench wafted over.

It was the remnants left by that couple earlier.

“No, don’t, don’t…”

Rose screamed and struggled, but it was futile, as the bodyguards ruthlessly pushed her head into the toilet.

After leaving the bar, Bella walked for half a block, eventually focusing on a black car.

She opened the car door, sitting on the man’s lap, closing the door behind her.

“All settled?” Ashton Marshall raised an eyebrow.

Bella cupped his face, her voice filled with displeasure, “Yes, I’ve had a fight with my fiancé, so tonight you need to make it up to me, give it to me!”

Those last words were spoken fiercely by Bella.

Mainly because this bastard had teased her at the restroom, arousing her desires thoroughly only to leave abruptly!

He left!

He just left like that!

Leaving her there, feeling completely empty like a gaping void.

Bella was considering taking matters into her own hands.

It was just then that Rose had rushed in with Oliver.

Bella pinched Ashton’s chin, staring intently at him, “How can you be so hateful?”

Her tone carrying a complaint with a hint of coquettishness.

Ashton chuckled, likewise pinching Bella’s chin, “Why do you have such high demands, Miss Woods?”

“Why do you keep calling me Miss Woods?”

“Your fiancé calls you that,” Ashton pondered, “Didn’t he say young lovers should learn more about each other’s interests, Miss Woods.”

“…”
