Chapter 6363: Please Hold Your Blade
Chapter 6363: Please Hold Your Blade
For a long period, Ten-realm Emperor was the firm pillar of Desolate Frontier in the absence of primal ancestors. Many disciples viewed him as the ultimate goal, striving hard to reach him.
Now, their role model was on the ground, awaiting execution. This overwhelmed them with emotions.
Ultimately, the strongest emperors and desolate gods could be taken down like insects one day. They themselves knew this but regular disciples didn’t have access to this information.
The imperial path was only the beginning and they had a long way to go before reaching the immortal realm. Therefore, some of them weren’t prideful and arrogant. The most talented genius was not guaranteed success beyond this point.
“Execute.” Li Qiye waved his hand without watching the situation. The whole thing was trivial in his mind. @@novelbin@@
Absolute Ancestor raised a saber for the decapitation.
“Please hold your blade!” An ancient power surged through the sky from Centurial Peak to the scene.
He was an old man with a soft aura as gentle yet omnipresent like the winds. It reminded everyone of the mortal world and its ups and downs. Life continued unceasingly for generations.
He wore a robe made with dao arrays, forming complete runes. This was rather expensive and took ample effort.
Despite looking old, he didn’t give the impression of being old. The wrinkles didn’t overshadow his eyes brimming with bright life force.
He had immersed himself in the river of time but given his spirited eyes, it looked as if his life was only beginning. Of course, he was far older than any emperors and desolate gods.
Time couldn’t wear his vitality and lifespan down. Ten waves of light surrounded him, representing one generation each.
“Tenth-gen Ancestor.” Many disciples whispered after seeing the ancient ancestor.
Rumor has it he was not inferior to Everlasting Jiang. The Chen stood strong because of him, forming cities and a kingdom in Centurial Peak.
This was unique in Desolate Frontier. Even Everlasting Jiang’s branch didn’t have a kingdom system resembling one in the mortal world. They were bound with blood, not just the master-disciple system. If they could maintain the right mindset, their disciples would surpass the peers from the other branches.
“Ancestor, please be merciful. The unworthy child deserves death for his impudence, but please spare his life out of consideration for what our branch has accomplished.” Tenth-gen Chen kneeled.
As the Chen grew stronger with more members, they contributed considerably to Desolate Frontier.
“I would have wiped out your clan without considering that. Your greed and stupidity ran rampant without any introspection. You ignored the warnings of Desolate Ancestor so now, I have to start the change myself.” Li Qiye said.
“Ancestor, our clan only has one promising seed after all this time. Please spare Ten-realm and we will accept any other punishment.” He continued.
This powerful primal ancestor earned the sympathy of the crowd. Although they had numerous members, Ten-realm was still the most promising candidate.
Solar Monarch and the others knew the clan relied on the legacy process. This had been engrained in their success and culture.
It was known as rebirth within the clan. Tenth-gen had received everything from Ninth-chen, and so on...
Only one cultivator could inherit the power, dao, and memories of the previous.
What do you think?
