Chapter 6365: Primal Ancestor
Chapter 6365: Primal Ancestor
All eyes fixated on Tenth-gen Chen. Ordinary disciples lacked information but desolate gods and emperors knew the uniqueness of the legacy process. In fact, it could be considered evil, hence its secrective nature.
The place smelled of blood - something unavoidable for the process. With it gone, the process would stop with Tenth-gen Chen.
The branch was doomed with its worldly energy and dao power removed. With the place of legacy gone, it would be the end of the Chen.
This was something Crimson Virtue and his allies wanted. After all, the place of legacy should have been destroyed long ago, stain on the otherwise virtuous sect. Li Qiye’s return and goal were perfect.
“No! Trading our legacy for my life? I rather die!” Ten-realm shouted: “Do it, take my head!”
The members of the Chen felt their blood boiling and bowed in his direction.
“My patience is limited for those who deserve death.” Li Qiye waved his hand.
“Ancestor, please forgive him!” Tenth-gen Chen bowed again.
“Do it.” Li Qiye gave the order. @@novelbin@@
“The Chen will never fall!” Ten-realm shouted before death.
Absolute Ancestor swung her blade, decapitating him. Blood splatted as his head flew in the air.
“Bam!” His headless body fell forward.
“No...” Tenth-gen Chen trembled after seeing this.
“Your Highness!” Others kneeled and wailed in lamentation, viewing him as a hero who died a heroic death.
The other watched with bated breath. Some emperors and desolate gods sighed - one wrong move and Ten-realm lost everything. He was too arrogant and went against a supreme ancestor.
This left an indelible impression on the proud members of Desolate Frontier. A limit-path emperor was an unreachable existence in their mind. Alas, he was executed like a criminal today.
The being sitting on the thirteenth peak was the true lord of Desolate Frontier. No one could stop his will, not even Tenth-gen Chen.
“Be smart now.” He spoke one more time before the peak disappeared from sight.
“Boom!” Meanwhile, Driedtree utilized her shield and leaped into the center of the tribulation.
She was covered in wounds but remained courageous. The shield protected her long enough for her to thrust her saber through the entire tribulation.
Nevertheless, some bolts still made it through and pierced her. Blood splashed like blossoming flowers.
She remained upright and her true fate rose into the air. Derivation of the dao source in conjunction with worldly energy combined with the shattered tribulation, embedding themselves into her true fate.
It gained a primal energy, and so did its laws. She then mediated in the air and became radiant like a dao source. Her primal energy engulfed Desolate Frontier.
“She did it!” Everyone became emotional.
“A new primal ancestor.” The primal energy suppressed all realms below.
She was Driedtree Ancestor henceforth.
Many regained their wits and glanced at the lifeless corpse of Ten-realm Emperor. Only a small gap existed between the two and now, one was dead whiel the other became a primal ancestor.
Driedtree Ancestor prostrated once before disappearing into the ancestral peak. Her energy gradually dissipated.
At the same time, Tenth-gen Chen took away Ten-realm’s corpse and head. Others watched his departing figure in silence.
He aged dramatically, or so it seemed. His legacy gave him ample life force but it didn’t matter now. A woeful air took over Centurial Peak as members prostrated respectfully before the corpse of Ten-realm.
“They tried too hard, it’s over now.” An emperor commented.
Conflicting emotions coursed through the crowd. Some pitied the Chen while others thought it was well-deserved.
Tranquility returned to Desolate Frontier outside of the Chen’s regions. Its members wore ceremonial gowns and erected white banners, painting all the places white. From a distance, it looked like a snowy world.
Others noticed this and admired them for their rare solidarity.
“Boom!” The peace was shortlived since something erupted.
Everyone looked and saw a blood pulse piercing through the sky, eventually forming a maelstrom.
“Rumble!” It chased away the clouds as it grew bigger.
Finally, it covered all of Centurial Peak. Everyone thought it looked slightly evil and resembled an eye made of blood.
“What is that?” They were rightfully startled.
“The power of Centurial Peak?” Seeing this gave them an ominous feeling because Desolate Frontier was a sect started by an immortal.
All of their merit laws and dao were of the righteous path, passed down by Desolate Ancestor.
Moreover, she created the two cultivation paths. Thus, cultivation in Three Immortals came from her, more or less. The blood vortex certainly didn’t match Desolate Frontier’s style.
What do you think?
