Chapter 6367: One Hundred Generations To Become Immortal
“Boom!” The maelstrom opened like an eye, releasing blood-shade rays all over Centurial Peak and replacing the white dots.
From afar, it looked like an ocean of blood had collapsed on it and flowed down.
“What’s going on?” Other members became confused.
“This is not the legacy process, what is the Chen doing?” Protectors and elders who had seen the visual phenomenon before said.
“What legacy process? Ten-realm Emperor was killed.” An ancestor shook his head.
Others agreed because grooming the right heir was difficult, requiring nearly all of the Chen’s resources. Therefore, Ten-realm Emperor was the only candidate. Now, Tenth-gen Chen had no one to pass it down even if he wanted to.
Then what was the Chen doing with this grand ceremony? Everyone wanted an answer but couldn’t make their way to Centurial Peak due to the lockdown.
No outsiders were allowed entry, not even other emperors and desolate gods.
“Goldclad, Lostmetal Emperor.” Visitors became startled after seeing the leaders behind the lockdown.
Other emperors and desolate gods of the Chen also appeared, commanding disciples to prevent trespassers. They built the strongest grand momentum to stop stronger cultivators.
“There must be a report to the sect given the commotion.” One emperor said.
“This is the Chen’s internal affair.” Lostmetal responded, reminding them of the precedence.
At this time, a blood pond stretching a thousand miles existed under Centurial Peak. Thick blood churned and boiled with traces of flesh and bones. The high temperature reduced everything to liquid form, turning it into a part of the pond.
In the center was a dried tree cut horizontally, making it look like a hand opening. The long and thick branches looked like fingers. Due to its size and appearance, some could mistake it for an island.
Upon closer inspection, blood veins covered it. They were dao runes, conceived unnaturally. They connected to the pond and absorbed the blood, nourishing the tree.
The tree had a name - Reborn. The one that ran to Silence Peak was not it.
It could be considered the mother tree and didn’t have this form. First-gen Chen used a special method to plant it into this blood pond, changing its appearance and purpose.
However, Desolate Ancestor didn’t permit his possession and cut it down, leaving the bottom section behind. Since he was still alive, the bloodline remained deep in the pond.
The younger one was groomed with the Chen’s resources. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be used in the same manner so it wasn’t planted in the pond. They merely channeled its power to aid the process.
Now, Tenth-gen Chen sat on the hand-like tree. Before him were all the disciples of the Chen.
They wore white ceremonial gowns and had dignified expressions while standing in front of raised platforms. Not a single hint of hesitation could be seen. @@novelbin@@
“The Chen’s prosperity will last for eternity.” Groups came up to the platforms and shouted.
The platforms flashed, piercing them with beams. Their blood and vitality surged outward, falling into the pond first. Next came the corpses.
The blood water had a corrosive force, melting the flesh first and then the bones. This didn’t stop the next groups from walking up the platforms.
Tenth-gen Chen shouted: “Ten-realm Emperor shall return with blood and flesh made from yours. You will be him, your soul shall be his. In the future, all of you will become primal ancestors, supreme overlords, and immortals. These glorious achievements belong to you.”
“We shall take the form of Ten-realm Emperor and return to this world!” The disciples shouted.
“Immortality!” They truly believed they would become the emperor and live again to reach supremacy.
What do you think?
