Jayden turned his gaze towards the people of the topaz universe, his eyes looking tranquil, and absolutely no emotion could be seen on his face as he took in the sight of the creatures who had almost slaughtered every single member of his family.

He slowly floated up until he was at the same level as the others. He set his gaze on the millions of people who had come into the grand colosseum to watch the bloody sights, but now they all just stared back at him in curiosity; there wasn't any fear, since with their emperor present there was no one who could pose any danger to them.

"State your name," the emperor said, his voice proud but also filled with curiosity.

"…" Jayden paid no attention to the emperor but instead spoke to the audience.

"Since all of you were so eager to see something exciting, then let me show you the real show."

"…" The emperor frowned and glanced at the guardians of his universe, gesturing for them to go ahead and test the power of this strange entity. He was wondering about ways he could use Jayden.

All six of the guardians appeared exactly the same; their entire bodies were wrapped in thin straps of cloth that seemed to be made of the world rules itself, showing just how incredible their control over the world was; the strength of each of them was at least at the one-star level.

After receiving the order, the guardians floated forward. Even though their faces were not visible, just the aura they presented around themselves showed their high status and haughtiness. Even though their strength was lower than that of the generals, they were treated with the same respect.

"Kneel before our lord and state your name, or you will be punished severely by us," one of the guardians ordered, but upon receiving no reply from him, one of them added,

"Even though you appear to be an abnormality, you are still a being from the nameless universe; your universe is much weaker than the topaz universe and so are its rules. Just by standing here you'll be shackled by those rules, decreasing your overall strength by a large extent."

Jayden's face showed no change as he glanced down at his body, and with slight concentration he was easily able to see invisible, thick chains wrapped all around his body. Those chains weren't meant to hinder his movement; instead, they were supposed to restrict his strength and ability.

'There is no way he could deal with the guardians; even at my peak I wasn't a match for even a single one of them, and now all of them are at least at the 1-star level or above, with the highest at the mid-level of one star. With these restrictions, he won't even be able to use half his strength. Now, let's see how you die this time,' Zendax thought, taking deep breaths.

"So this is the universe ranked 97? I expected more," Jayden spoke, raising his right hand and casually making a grabbing motion in the empty air before slightly pulling his hand back, while the guardians just stared at him with their hands behind their backs and an air of authority lingering around them.

The movement of Jayden's hand didn't seem like anything, but the moment he pulled his hand back a bit, the expressions of all the guardians changed all of a sudden; at first it was shock, and then their faces were filled with pain as blood spurted out of their eyes, nose, and ears while they also vomited their internal organs and blood.

Six spheres of energy containing the world rules were ripped out of their chests in just an instant; the auras of all the former guardians weakened greatly within moments as they fragily began to fall down. Most didn't even get to see exactly what happened as they heard the sound of six bodies hitting the ground.

The wraps around the six men came undone finally as six similarly frail old men with bluish bodies were revealed; there were big holes in their chests, and the whole crowd saw this in shock and daze.

It was unbelievable for them all to see that someone had beaten their guardians to this state without so much as touching them; their qualifications as the guardians were instantly cancelled as the energy orbs were taken out. Being inside the universe, their strength increases significantly while the opponent weakens.

'H- How…? Is he really the same Jayden? J- Just what happened in the last—three years?' Zendax was the most shocked; he had fought against Jayden just three years ago, and now his strength had increased to a whole new level.

Jayden looked down at the six figures; they were rolling and groaning in pain. There was no doubt that with their current injuries, if they weren't treated, they would just die on their own—though the death would be quite painful—so he didn't pay them any more attention and instead turned his crystal-like red eyes towards the emperor.

Unlike the rest of the people, the emperor didn't show much emotion; he just briefly glanced at the six men and then at the light spheres floating some distance away from Jayden. The world rules had already started to disrupt slowly, and soon, if no new guardians replaced the older ones, the topaz universe would be in a lot of trouble.

"Hmmm kakaka, not bad, I am even more interested now. How about you become my servant and you can keep those creatures from the nameless universe alive? I still can't understand what exactly you are, so are you willing?" the emperor asked, but already knowing Jayden's response he was prepared to make him submit.

"Your servant?" Jayden's lips unconsciously curled slightly, an expression of mockery appearing on his face that, for some reason, angered the emperor more than any words Jayden might have said.

"Third—" the emperor turned his head towards Zendax to order him to attack Jayden, but he saw that his third general was on his knees, his body shivering in sheer terror.

"Haa, Second, go ahead," the emperor added, and gestured to the first general with his eyes to keep the second safe in case Jayden was too strong for him.

"I understand, my lord. He might be slightly stronger than me, but with my speed, I am sure I can defeat him," the second general spoke. He didn't underestimate Jayden after seeing him defeat the generals so easily.

Still, he is stronger than those six, so the second general was confident.

A wave of current flickered across his body as the general disappeared from his position and appeared in front of Jayden; bolts of electricity began to dance around his body, creating blinding blue and yellow light.

"I am giving you a chance—surrender before I attack, or you will turn out like that after I am done with you," the second general said with a laugh while pointing towards Zendax.

"W- Will darling be fine? He seems even stronger than those guys," Sophie spoke, her face filled with worry.

"I am sure he will be fine; nothing could ever happen to him—not even death could keep him for too long," Xiao said, placing a calming hand over Sophie's shoulder.
