Chapter 940: Hestia
"You should meet with others," Anna spoke, her voice fluttering as she turned away from Jayden.
'He has become such a flirt, haa why is it so hot suddenly? Feels like I am captured in his trap…' she thought, biting her lower lip.
Jayden chuckled lightly at her reaction. Teasing her felt much better than he expected, and he planned to continue to do so a lot in the future, but for now, he decided to let her calm down.
"…" Jayden then looked to the side and saw two women gazing intently at him. One was his childhood self-proclaimed wife, while the other was his mother whom he had never seen before—at least not from what he could remember.
Walking up to Sydney, he stood right in front of her and placed his palm on top of her head, shuffling her hair lightly as he gazed into her eyes and spoke, "So we meet again, Sydney."
"Jay…" Sydney felt all her emotions explode in her heart. She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly, reminiscing about the times when they spent almost all their time together. She had missed him so much over the years and was devastated by the news of his death.
Even when Jayden was weak and small, he still protected her, even going through a traumatic experience of killing a person just for her. Without him even saying anything, Sydney gently wrapped her slender arms around his waist, enveloping him in her soft embrace.
"It's been so long. I was so afraid that I would never be able to see you again. I am sorry for hiding my real identity from you, but that was necessary at that time. I'm sure you understand." Sydney paused, and then her tone became a little sad.
"After we separated, a lot happened in the dragon race. My uncle, who was there to protect me at that time, was killed. A lot of others were killed too, and I was trapped there, all because of an agreement between some dragons and the guardians."
As she explained, Sydney enjoyed the feeling of his arms slowly clinging to her body. Just from his hug, she could also sense his emotions. It was as if they had returned to the past when they were small and only had each other in the entire orphanage; every day was so exciting and joyful.
"I missed you a lot too. After that incident, I secretly went back to the orphanage, but you were no longer there and I had no other way to search for you. You didn't get hurt, right? Were you afraid?" Jayden asked in a soft and comforting tone as he gently ran his finger through her long silky hair.
"I was… a little afraid. I believed I would either have to kill myself or be used in some kind of scheme. I was worried about you too, but I couldn't reveal anything about you. Anyway, I didn't get hurt much…" Sydney finished in a low tone, just basking in the warmth of her husband from childhood.
"From now on, we will be together forever. Nothing—absolutely nothing—will be able to hurt you or take you away from me. Not again. Never. I… love you, Sydney." Jayden whispered softly, squeezing her body and feeling a pain in his heart for not being there for her. He was just too weak at that time.
"I love you too, Jay. Please let me be a significant part of your life once again. Anyway, enough with the past; just know that I am still your wife—your first wife." Sydney spoke as her sad tone changed into something possessive and obsessive, just like how she sounded several years ago.
"Haha, sure—" Just while they were speaking to each other, Sydney felt several slightly agitated gazes on her back. Sasha, Alice, Eleanor, and all his other wives were glaring at her since she was directly challenging their positions.
"Uh…" Sydney was startled by their reactions, but she could understand. After all, she would react in the same manner if some girl showed interest in Jayden, so she decided not to make them angry already; they were all a big family after all.
"I meant, I am satisfied just being back in your life. Just give me enough of your love and time, we have a lot to catch up on." Sydney added. For a moment she thought of teasing him about the kiss they shared—that was a first for them both—but then she decided not to.
Jayden laughed lightly. She still felt exactly like before, just more grown-up, more beautiful, and more hot. He breathed in her scent and closed his eyes, not letting her go for several minutes.
He had missed her so much, was so worried about her, so finally having her so close in his arms made his heart melt and swell with happiness. He loved everything about her—her teasing, the tremble of her body, her milky and sweet scent, her voice, and all her sneaky actions.
They just stood there embracing each other and said no more. Sydney kept his head pressed against her chest, feeling his muscle as she felt just how much he had changed since before.
"Oh right," as if remembering something, Sydney took a step back and spoke, "This is Hestia Dracon, your mother."
As Jayden moved out of Sydney's embrace, he finally turned his gaze to the beautiful and voluptuous woman who stood there, staring at him with deep and intense emotions burning in her eyes.
Jayden's expression relaxed, but his emotions became slightly chaotic. Despite knowing she was his mother, he didn't know how to feel about her or how to react toward her. They were meeting for the first time after being separated for so many years.
Hestia gazed at her son, registering each and every feature of his face and taking in the entire sight, trying to imprint it in her mind. How much she had longed for this day.
Her shiny green hair swayed slightly, covering half of her beautiful face. In the sunlight, her milky complexion shone with a healthy and gorgeous glow. She wore a brown dress, loose enough to almost perfectly hide her sensual curves, but her soft breasts were quite large and her back thick.
The gorgeous lady dragon looked absolutely stunning, and even in her emotional state, her aura still remained strong. Very few similarities could even be seen on her face from Jayden, though since his appearance had changed quite a bit over the years, the similarities were low.
Jayden felt a little awkward for the first time as he struggled to think of how to address her or what to say. If it was to act or seduce a woman, then he would have absolutely no problem—like when he first met Jia, he pretended without even an ounce of hesitation or nervousness.
But this was different. It was his real mother. So both of them just stood staring at each other, their faces showing no emotions, but the storm of emotions brewed in their hearts.
Contrary to Jayden, Hestia was the complete opposite. She felt too excited and happy—she wanted to do so much but struggled to choose where to start.
