Chapter 231: [Bonus chapter] A Trap Set Using Foresight
Alzureth managed a reply, "Alright, mother. See you soon." He waved back while he forced a smile, still feeling a bit conflicted about what his father told him about taking his siblings along with him.
Moments later, Alzureth was making his way through the castle, heading towards the massive training grounds when the sound of a massive boom echoed through the halls. He gritted his teeth as he mumbled, "What sort of bizarre thing are those four up to now?"
Arriving outside beside the castle, the training grounds could be found. It was so massive it was made to train thousands of demons at a time. @@novelbin@@
However, it was in ruins with a massive dust cloud billowing into the air. The demons who were supposed to be training there were all over the place, unconscious. At the center of all the chaos were four rather distinctive figures.
Suddenly, a woman’s voice echoed, "Ha! If this is all our forces are capable of, then I don’t see how father’s plans will come to fruition." The voice belonged to one of the four figures. Elrith, the first daughter of the demon king, had dazzling red hair, fox ears, a set of red nine tails, purple eyes, and a purple horn on her forehead curved upwards.
She was Alzureth’s immediate half younger sister.

Elrith wore a red, off-the-shoulder top with golden patterns and sheer sleeves. Her stomach was exposed, and she had a layered, uneven skirt with tattered edges. She completed the look with thigh-high boots made of dark leather.
Another voice echoed, "How truly disappointing. They didn’t even last as long as they did last time, which was an exact 36 seconds. Their record now is a measly 15. Truly disappointing, I must say." It belonged to a man with gray hair, wearing a pair of glasses that seemed to glint in the dust cloud as he adjusted them.
Beneath them were a pair of dazzling blue eyes, and two small white horns could be seen on both edges of his forehead. For some reason, he seemed to be dressed like the castle’s butlers. His name was Salden, the second son of the demon king.
Another voice then echoed, holding a hint of arrogance. "Can you blame them? We are getting stronger every day. It would be simply impossible for them to go up against all four of us, considering our father is the almighty demon king." It was Saquin, with dazzling pure silver hair and purple eyes, much like her mother.
She wore a long, elegant black gown with silver embroidery. The off-shoulder design added a modern touch, and she paired it with matching silver heels for a refined look.
Behind them all, another voice echoed, "Woooo, that was so much fun, guys! Let’s do it again!" The voice belonged to Vorpax, the third son of the demon king and the youngest of the siblings. Well-known for his over-the-top energetic personality, he is dangerous because of how extreme he is about everything. He had black hair fox ears, a single tail and red eyes.
Vorpax was wearing a colorful and stylish outfit with a unique design. His clothes include a sleeveless tunic, tight trousers, and eye-catching black boots. The outfit reflects his bold and flamboyant personality.
"What do you guys think you are doing?" Alzureth yelled, a visible look of irritation could be seen on his face. Although he asked, he was well aware of what was going on.
His siblings, hearing his voice, redirected their gazes toward where he stood just outside the castle, elevated by a couple of stairs.
"Hey, look guys, it’s Alzureth!" Elrith yelled as she proceeded to point at him.
While still gazing at Alzureth, Salden adjusted his glinting glasses as he added, "Yes, indeed, it is our stuck-up older brother." Dropping his hand from adjusting his glasses, he folded both hands as he then added, "But our dear brother doesn’t usually care what we do, so what’s up with the sudden show of curiosity?" Salden’s eyes seemed to glow slightly as he then added, "From what I can deduce, it seems you are being forced to do this.
By father, perhaps." He adjusted his glasses with his right hand again as he added, "From what the numbers say, it seems like you have been asked to bring us along with you on your next mission." His glasses glinted.
Upon hearing what Salden said, Vorpax’s eyes glinted as he clenched his fists in excitement, saying, "For real, Alzureth? Father said you should bring us along with you?" He wagged his tail intensely, so fast it started to create a dust cloud behind him, stirring up the reddish dirt from the ground.
Saquin then chuckled as she said, "Seems father realized your abilities were lacking and decided you needed our help." She gestured inquisitively while tilting her head slightly to the left, wearing a smug smile right after.
Suddenly, Alzureth’s voice seemed to echo with a rather weird wave of energy as he said, "All of you, silence, and on your knees now!" His eyes shone brightly as he gazed intensely at them.
Suddenly, the four siblings felt a powerful invisible force, forcing their mouths shut and compelling them to their knees against their will. They tried to resist but were simply not strong enough. This was Alzureth’s †Authority†, absolute obedience.
Alzureth then jumped from where he was standing and landed on the ground of the ruined training grounds, slowly approaching his siblings. His cold words were directed at Salden as he said, "Salden, how many times have I told you not to use your †Authority† to read me?" Closing in, he yelled, "How many times!"
Alzureth’s tone caught the rest of his siblings slightly off guard; they all trembled with fear, a sign that they had gone through a similar scenario, serving to strike fear in their hearts. As Alzureth gazed intensely at Salden, instead of turning his gaze elsewhere like the others, Salden gazed intensely into Alzureth’s eyes, proceeding to form a smug smile.
What do you think?
