Race.

This was a topic Michael couldn't say he knew much about, and even the Supers Association forum didn't help much in the matter.

This was because the system judged stats based on one's race rather than human standards.

Michael felt this made sense.

Imagine a dragon using human stats to measure its strength.

In that case, the system would be judging how strong it was among humans—not how powerful it was within its own race.

If this was truly how things worked, then the question of whether the human race was supreme would be a debate.

As several thoughts flashed through Michael's mind, he began testing his newly evolved undead.

The moment the Undead High Human Mage followed his command, an overwhelming surge of mana exploded into the surroundings.

Michael's eyes widened as an almost insane amount of mana poured out, twisting the air around them.

For a brief moment, his heart shook.

Not only was it far greater than what Mage Lian had ever displayed, but it also surpassed his own mana reserves by an absurd degree.

A deep frown formed on his face.

There was only one creature he could immediately think of that had ever released this much mana—even while being at the same level.

Lucky.

But Lucky was an Extraordinary Rank creature.

Did this mean that the High Human race was naturally comparable to an Extraordinary Rank being?

Or at the very least… not far off?

Michael's breathing slowed as he processed the implications.

For an undead at this level to have this much mana, the race itself had to be on a completely different level.
