Chapter 137 137- Blood Crystal

'P-princess?' Olea stuttered as she sat on the sofa, looking to the side where Princess Aleriana Vandreat was seated, clutching her husband's finger and sucking on it in front of everyone with a flushed face.

She was completely embarrassed yet unexpectedly following his orders.

Olea had always seen the Princess as wise and measured, but now she appeared so submissive.

She glanced at Kyle, who had his elbow resting on the armrest, his back propped up and relaxed even after witnessing what Mialthara had done.

"I-it's done, husband," Aleriana slowly removed his finger, a string of saliva breaking as she did so. The metallic taste was new to her, and she felt more embarrassed than ever before, quickly averting her gaze to the other side. 'Th-this husband of mine!'

In her mind, a clear scream echoed due to how Kyle had embarrassed her last night and was doing so again now, as if he were breaking her personality and changing her entirely. She closed her eyes to compose herself, determined to teach him a lesson someday by embarrassing him in return.

"Still inexperienced, but you will get used to sucking," Kyle said, treating his finger as if observing it while checking that the bleeding had stopped. He glanced at Mialthara, who was seated with her arms folded, looking back at him with a smirk. It seemed she found amusement in what she had done, perhaps believing she had cornered him.

"M-master Kyle, do you know—" Olea broke the silence, setting aside what she had just witnessed as Princess Aleriana also seemed to regain her composure. Olea tried to inform him of the severity of the situation after Mialthara's declaration but was interrupted.

"Just Kyle or husband would be fine too," Kyle gestured with his hand, stopping Olea mid-sentence. He knew that they were treating the situation as if he were the one in danger due to Mialthara's declaration.

While it was true to some extent that every enemy of Mialthara might now target Kyle openly, potentially bringing his life into threat due to such rampant information, it would soon spread across the continent. Given the overall spread of the neutral faction, their enemies would not hesitate to take action.

Mialthara had unnecessarily created more enemies for Kyle, and even stronger ones than simple assassins. The probability of both unorthodox and orthodox factions targeting him had significantly increased.

However, the reason he was relaxed and considered her revenge foolish was due to its absurdity.

"Kyle, Mialthara's reputation would make you a target for other factions. Even those wanting to rise in rank within the neutral faction would seek to use you as a hostage. Mialthara has worsened things by making you an enemy of the entire continent," Olea said firmly, not entertaining Kyle's casual demeanor. She aimed to inform him how serious the situation was, acknowledging that while he might be strong, being the target of so many could become deadly. His life would always be in constant threat, and one never knows what might happen.

"Yes, husband, Mialthara intentionally tried to endanger your life," Aleriana's voice, having recovered from her embarrassment, turned cold as she glared at Mialthara. Both Olea and Aleriana directed swirling killing intent at her, but Mialthara remained uncaring about their reactions. Instead, she looked at Kyle with an amused expression, as if to say how she had trapped him in an endless cycle of being preyed upon.

Power was everything in this world; it led those weaker than her to hesitate from attacking while also increasing the chances of stronger foes targeting her. This constantly forced her to change her location. Yet, that was not the case for Kyle Arcturus, who could not escape anywhere. Given that he was mortal, even a first-layer assassin would target him, clearly overwhelming him day and night.

In conclusion, Mialthara had taken perfect revenge for being humiliated by this mortal by making him a prime target for her enemies.

"I see you both take your husband lightly," Kyle smirked, looking at Mialthara. Upon seeing his smile, there was a twitch in her lips as she seemed confused about why he was still smiling after realizing the perilous situation he was in. But for Kyle, he offered a warm look toward Aleriana and Olea.

Olea gave a blank look, clearly disliking being called his wife, but she remained silent, knowing the precious favor he had granted her.

Kyle wanted her exactly like this; the primary reason he favored her was to guide her through a transition from being favored to being loved, ultimately leading her to accept him wholeheartedly after he helped her take her revenge. He refocused on Mialthara.

"Tell me, Mialthara, you revealed yourself to this world 170 years ago by burning down the village of your mother and ranking yourself within the Neutral faction after killing your own brother..." Kyle began to speak, but before he could continue, Mialthara's smile vanished, replaced by coldness. Clenching her jaw, she vanished, her hand stretching toward his face as if she had suffered deep wounds scratched once again.

Swish, swish.

But she was not alone in the room. Aleriana gripped Mialthara's wrist while Olea held her shoulder, clearly making her unmovable as they stopped her just inches away from Kyle.

"Tch, hear me out, Mialthara; you are the one being cornered here. Just take a seat; you are too precious for me to kill," Kyle whispered, with a smile. His words seemed incongruous, as all three women looked at him while he leaned forward, propping his chin on his knuckles with his elbows resting on his thighs. Mialthara clenched her jaw, realizing that her abilities were not working—neither blood manipulation nor bloodstream could help her escape this place.

She had killed people as strong as Olea or Aleriana before, but she could only do it with the aid of her own forbidden abilities, and now even those were not functioning. This made it clear that he was the victor in this battle.

"Don't you hear me? Sit down, now, Mia," Kyle reiterated, his tone firm. Mialthara flinched, the nails that had emerged from her fingers slowly retracting. Realizing that she could do nothing except listen to him, she sat down, her gaze fixed on him, revealing a history of her life that she had buried, erasing all evidence of her existence.

All the information available about her would only come from 170 years ago, with nothing recorded beforehand; but this man was aware of it all.

"Hm, I might have hurt you a bit. Let's change the direction of the conversation..." Kyle tilted his head. Since she wasn't aware of much history beyond a few events that he wanted to mix with lies to camouflage his propaganda, he shifted the conversation, adding, "I am not something you could just let others have their hands on, Mialthara. After all, it would be sad if I revealed the secrets of your blood crystal."

'!?!'

"Y-you, H-how do you know about that!", Mialthara's eyes glowed as a bead of sweat formed on her forehead, and her whole body seemed to sink with a feeling she had never felt before.

It was fear.

She remained seated while looking toward the young man who knew the biggest secret of her life.
