Chapter 782: Chapter 782: The Little Guy Will Be Killed Immediately!
“The surveillance stopped here.” The bodyguard pointed to the screen.
“Seems like the pay you get from Mr. Cheney is a complete waste.” Charles Mcintosh responded, a mosaic of broken fragments seeming to brew on his calm face.
“Assistant Mcintosh, we failed in our duty and are willing to accept the punishment.” The bodyguard lowered his head, “We have already deployed people to search around the amusement facilities.”
Charles sneered coldly, not saying much, and swiftly headed out.
Lilac Serval glanced at the bowed bodyguard: “If you can’t even take care of a child, I suggest you come up with a good way to die yourself, don’t wait for Mr. Cheney to come and vent his anger.”
After saying this, Lilac followed Charles.
Together, they headed towards the kindergarten’s outdoor play area.
The weather was clear today, and the puddles on the ground had dried up, but there were still a few water droplets on the playground equipment.
The air was heavily oppressive.
The outdoor playground was massive, and by the time Charles entered, quite a few people had already surrounded it.
“Yolanda Fern is a desperate fugitive, she’s capable of doing anything.” Lilac followed beside Charles and said.
“Yes, at present she has no desires, no demands. I’m afraid she might harm Little Chale Cheney.” Charles replied.
“From the moment the incident happened to now, it’s been just ten minutes, I don’t think she could have escaped, which means, Yolanda is still in the kindergarten.”
“There are people guarding the kindergarten inside and out. Not even a fly could get out, so she must still be inside.” Charles agreed with Lilac’s words.
Together, they proceeded inside the playground. The search and rescue operation began unfolding.
Just as Charles and Lilac began heading towards a small ferris wheel, suddenly, a white figure appeared on top of the ferris wheel!
A woman in a white jacket, wearing a deep-red scarf around her neck.
She stood at great height, her long hair tossing about wildly as the wind blew, looking disheveled and distraught.
Charles extended his arm, stopping Lilac and everyone else behind him.
Lilac also looked up and recognized the woman. It was indeed Yolanda.
Due to the height and distance, they could only vaguely make out Yolanda’s expression.
Yolanda’s face was indifferent, even carrying a hint of calmness.
She had lost a significant amount of weight. Her cheekbones protruded, her eye sockets sunk in, her lips were pale, and she looked haggard.
Despite this, she still maintained a seemingly gentle and harmless appearance.
In her right hand was a shiny dagger, and beneath the dagger, was Chale Cheney.
Lilac squinted, this woman was truly audacious, even in death, she intended to drag Little Chale along.
Yolanda and Chale were standing very close to each other; she held the little one upon the dominant heights of the ferris wheel.
He looked terrified, with wide eyes revealing his fear! His face was a picture of terror!
His mouth was stuffed with a tissue by Yolanda, rendering him speechless. His little face swelled red, his expression pitiful.
The little one dared not lower his head.
If he looked down, he would see the sharp dagger and the towering ferris wheel.
His little legs were shaking.
Charles and Lilac, along with their men, stood at the base of the ferris wheel, and Yolanda also saw them.
But, as if nothing had changed, Yolanda’s face still carried a disinterested expression, as calm as a placid lake, without a ripple of emotion.
The wind moved her scarf and hair, the dagger in her hand rested on Little Chale’s tender neck.
With just a slight shift of that sharp blade, the little boy would immediately lose his life!
Little Chale couldn’t utter a single word; he could only pitifully blink his large eyes at Uncle Mcintosh.
A stern chill flashed in Charles’s eyes, anger lurking at the bottom of his gaze.
Damn Yolanda, she was so desperate that she was attacking elderly and children!
No one dare to move rashly. Charles and Lilac both secretly gripped the guns inside their coats.
What do you think?
