“Damn! Are you suicidal?” a driver shouted, leaning out the window.

“My ring—give it back to me—” Jian Yufei managed to shout while she ran across the street without slowing down.

The thief looked back at her and was irritated to see her reckless determination.

It was just a ring, was it worth all this desperation?

The thief turned a corner, deliberately leading her on.
