Chapter 1916 - An Unprecedented, Forbidden Path

“Why do I get the sense that this ‘Graveyard of the Gods’ is targeting the power of Li Fuyou’s Dao Imprint?” the gaunt monk holding a Buddhist kingdom aloft said out of nowhere.

The gods’ pupils constricted. That was entirely possible!

“Li Fuyou died a long time ago, and he never mastered the power of reincarnation. How could he possibly have invited this taboo divine tribulation that practically only exists in legends?” said the youth on the wooden sword. “Seems to me that this tribulation is targeting reincarnation, not him!”

The gods’ frowned, a bit uncertain.

“Don’t you think there’s no point discussing all that now?” said the woman on the Vermillion Bird. “If you ask me, we’d best focus on how we’re going to rid ourselves of the Heretic Reincarnator. If he gets an opportunity to return to the God Domain… Hah! I’m afraid all of your Divine Thrones will be stripped away! I just hope that you can make a decision before the Path of Divinity appears in the Immortal Realm. Quit all this hemming and hawing!”

…With that, the woman seated on the Vermillion Bird flew off.

The other gods sank into silence, their expressions shifting and uncertain.

“I don’t want to see Li Fuyou return to the God Domain, especially since he controls the power of reincarnation in this incarnation. He presents… far too great a threat…” someone murmured.

They could see the strange tribulation targeting Su Yi. Li Fuyou was right in the thick of it, swinging his sword deep within the tribulation clouds and slaughtering one illusory, godlike figure after another.

He cut them down as if they were made of rotten wood. None could stand in his way. He was proud and terrifying.
