Florida Man in Magus World: Unleashing Liberty and Freedom

Chapter 206: Florida Man Accidentally Discovers Primordial Species After He Urinates into a Centipede Nest

Felix shifted uncomfortably, yawning as he stared at the massive hole. Pouring water into the seemingly endless nest had proven to be a grueling and monotonous task. Moreover, despite his efforts, the water barely seemed to make a difference.

He checked his threat map again, and his heart sank. The map showed that 90% of the radar was still swarmed with purple dots, indicating hostile lifeforms.

"This is ridiculous."

Felix gave up. He decided to insult them instead.

Unzipping his pants, Felix pulled out his personal "hose" with a smirk. Clenching his stomach muscles, a concentrated stream of golden liquid surged forth, diving straight into the depths of the nest. The "blessed water," as Felix jokingly called it, had been building up for hours, resulting in a deep yellow hue.

As it splashed against the cavernous interior, nothing happened as usual.

But a second later, the ground beneath Felix trembled once again. The force this time surpassed 9 Richter, creating sink holes everywhere. Ground collapsed and dust flew throughout the entire area within 10 kilometers.

A deafening screech erupted from the depths of the ant nest. Felix covered his ears and widened his eyes, realizing he had awakened something he shouldn't have. Moments later, the ground cracked and split apart as a monstrous entity emerged.

A colossal black centipede, larger than anything Felix had ever seen, clawed its way out of the nest and shot up to the sky. Its segmented body was covered in armor-like scales, and each leg towered as tall as the Empire State Building. The creature's head was a terrifying mass, easily the size of a small town, with mandibles that looked capable of shearing through mountains. Its many eyes, glinting like obsidian jewels, locked onto Felix.

"Holy… F-ck." Felix exclaimed, flabbergasted by the sheer size of this cosmic entity. He reached for his handgun, then paused, realizing it probably wouldn't even scratch the creature.

Suddenly, the voice of the administrator, Miao Xiaomao, echoed directly in the minds of all surviving chosen ones, carrying a tone of both amusement and urgency.

[Attention, chosen ones! Be advised that a MINI boss, "Karma Centipede," has been awakened ahead of schedule because an idiot decided to flood his home and piss on its head. Anyway, under no circumstances should you engage it. This is not something you can handle at your current level.]

Felix froze mid-action. His fingers grazed the activation trigger of the beacon ball in his hand as he almost activated it and summon another nuke.

The administrator's words continued.

[Just for your reference, this cute pet belongs to the "Deity Class," which happens to be the third major cultivation realm of our universe. You mortals are merely scratching the first stage. The power disparity here is about as wide as the Grand Canyon, so let me be crystal clear… Run, don't walk.]

There was a brief pause, and then the voice turned sharper.

[And as for those relying on their cheat items or plot armor, especially you Floridian kids, don't think your gadgets will save you. Overestimating your tools will only get you squashed faster.]

Felix felt personally attacked, and his face twitched at the not-so-subtle jab. He stared at the beacon ball in his hand while his earlier confidence faded under the administrator's scolding. For once, he decided to heed the advice and refrained from provoking the massive centipede.

But Miao Xiaomao wasn't done. This time, he delivered a tidbit of information that sent a chill through everyone's spines.

[Oh, and just so you know, Demon God Mao commands a trillion of these centipedes. Fun fact: some of them are actually his wives. And those ladies? Yeah, they're two tiers stronger than this little guy you're all gawking at right now. So… train hard, stay alive, and good luck ever thinking about fighting that man in his final form. Just speedrun this farce and smack him while he's still a baby, alright? We've given you so many handicaps, so don't ruin it.]

Felix flinched hard. He pictured an endless swarm of centipedes, each large enough to devour cities. Worse still, the idea that some of them were stronger, more intelligent, and potentially more vicious than this one was enough to make him feel small.

"Trillion centipedes? Wives?! Who the f-ck is this guy?!"

Xiaomao's voice entered Felix mind, answering the question.

[He's someone your ancestor hates yet trusts the most, but he still keeps him as a pet… who can kill protagonists. Anyway, heed my warnings. Plot armor doesn't exist in front of him, so good luck.]

"…"

With the administrator's words still fresh in his mind, Felix didn't hesitate any longer. He kicked off the ground and rocketed westward at full speed.

But the centipede wasn't about to let its uninvited guest leave unscathed.

SCREECH!

The piercing cry of the Karma Centipede echoed like an unholy trumpet, summoning its vast legion of underlings. From beneath the ground, countless ants surged forth like a living tide, clawing their way to the surface. Each ant raised its mandibles to the sky and hissed in unison, answering their master's call. As they emerged, they unleashed torrents of green gas, transforming the landscape into a swirling nightmare of toxic fog.

Felix glanced back and his heart sank at the sight. The green haze spread like wildfire, devouring the land behind him. Worse, ahead of him, a million ants that had climbed onto the surface had already spotted him.

From among the swarm, one particularly large ant crawled out. Its swollen abdomen pulsed while It pointed its rear toward the sky, aiming with unsettling precision. With a sharp hiss, it fired a glowing green energy projectile, a homing missile of condensed poison, straight at Felix.

"Ah, hell."

The glowing orb struck him instantly, exploding in a brilliant burst of acidic green liquid. Felix was showered in the corrosive substance. His clothes sizzled and melted away in seconds.

DING!

<You're immune to poison.>

"…Thanks for the useless information, I guess."

Unfazed, Felix shook off the ruined scraps of his clothes and continued flying westward, leaving the enraged ants and their mysterious energy projectiles far behind.

.

Two hours later, Felix finally spotted Diana. She perched atop the hull of a hovering spaceship. Surrounding her were ten sleek, high-tech space jets, hovering around her like a loyal squadron.

Below, the ant army had gathered in full force, hidden within the green fog. Their hissing and screeching reverberated through the air. Above the fog, a massive swarm of flying ants had taken to the skies, and they were heading toward Diana and her bodyguards.

Felix landed beside Diana and took in the chaotic scene.

"What the hell is going on here?"

Diana laughed dryly. "What do you think? I accidentally killed one of their queen ants earlier, and now they're a little pissed."

"A little pissed? Diana, anyone would lose their minds if you killed their mother. The question is, how are you still standing here? Shouldn't the reinforcements have bailed by now?"

Diana glanced at the spaceships surrounding her and grinned proudly. She patted the hull of the craft beneath her.

"Well, let's just say Jessica clued me in on a little secret about the beacon balls. Apparently, their passwords include a touch of randomness. I lucked out and summoned a space carrier."

She pointed upward, and Felix followed her gesture.

His eyes widened as he spotted the massive spaceship orbiting high above. Around it, a thousand smaller spacecraft zipped through the void, blasting hostile ants that had somehow launched themselves into orbit.

Felix gawked, speechless. "You're telling me you've got a whole fleet just casually backing you up?"

Diana shrugged nonchalantly. "Hey, luck favors the prepared. I just happened to draw the right card this time."

Below them, the ant army continued to amass. The creepers started forming a pyramid with their comrades' bodies, climbing atop of each other to reach Felix and Diana.

Felix saw them coming and shook his head.

"How long do we have to survive here?"

"…I didn't count." Diana pursed her lips and brought out an plasma handgun, which Felix had bought her.

"Ah, RIP to everybody else."
