Chapter 779: Chapter 779: Very Contemptuous

Alexander Summers frowned upon hearing this, “…Can’t move your body?”

Thinking back, Purple Summers found it terrifying and buried her face in his chest, “Yeah, just like being haunted by a ghost, I couldn’t even move a single finger…”

Alexander’s brows furrowed deeply, he pondered for a moment, then took Purple’s hand and walked towards the western-style building.

“Nathaniel Summers is restless; you will move out tonight,” he said, “Go back and pack.”

Purple was surprised and asked uncertainly as she followed behind him, “So sudden? But… but I previously told Mom that I would move out during the New Year…”

“The New Year is not far off, we’re not missing much,” Alexander said, “Mom can move out later, but you can’t stay here any longer!”

...

Even though Alexander was formidable, it was impossible for him to be by Purple’s side every minute of every day, and he hated having to be constantly on guard—such passivity was too unpleasant. It would be better for Purple to move out completely and cut off Nathaniel’s thoughts.

Purple felt guilty towards Nathaniel because he had helped her take care of her grandmother back when she was Suzanne Saunders, owing him for that kindness.

But Alexander was cold-hearted, between him and Nathaniel, there were only the deep-seated grievances left by Mrs. Summers. Even now, as Nathaniel was harmed so badly, Alexander felt not a speck of guilt, much less regret.

The news of Alexander planning to move out of the Summers Residence quickly spread among the servants.

There was a burst of discussion, everyone saying that the fourth and third young masters had a fight, incompatible as fire and water, and that was why Fourth Summers Child was moving out in indignation.

This sort of rumor suited Alexander perfectly, saving him the trouble of finding excuses for the move later.

Atra Blanc was utterly confused, “Why would they start fighting out of the blue?”

Purple, applying medicinal oil to Alexander’s wounds, massaged them gently, and upon hearing Atra’s question, she awkwardly turned her face away.

It couldn’t be because of her, could it…?

Alexander said, “I can’t live here anymore, Mom. You start packing these few days, and today, Purple and I will stay outside.”

Atra Blanc’s face showed suspicion, her gaze at her son filled with distrust.

After being deceived so many times, Atra instinctively doubted Alexander, thinking that he might be using an excuse to spend the night alone with Purple outside.

Purple coughed twice, awkwardly saying, “Mom, my brother still has injuries…”

No matter how lust-driven one might be, one wouldn’t go into battle injured, right…?

Atra Blanc was startled, and finally, a genuine concern showed in her eyes. She said, “You have injuries too? Take off your shirt and let me see. If you need to go to the hospital, go to the hospital, don’t try to be strong.”

Alexander made a couple of casual remarks, managed to deal with Atra, and without caring about the curious eyes of the servants, left the house with Purple despite having a swollen, bruised face.

They went to the villa on the mountain.

It had been a long time since their last visit, and a thin layer of dust covered the furniture. The refrigerator lacked fresh food supplies.

“Rest for a while; we’ll drive down the mountain later to buy some,” Alexander said as he removed the dust cover over the sofa, revealing the clean leather underneath.

Purple came over and took hold of him, “Mom is not wrong; take off your clothes and let me check if there are injuries anywhere else.”

“Ha, he could hurt me?” Alexander scoffed.

Yet with his swollen and bruised appearance, his disdainful tone seemed strikingly at odds with his looks.

Alexander took off his shirt, and Purple carefully checked him. His build was straight, his muscles firm. Aside from some old scars, no obvious bruises were found.

Purple said: “He’s quite scheming, knowing he can’t beat you, he deliberately targeted your face, at least to make you look a bit more miserable.”

Alexander’s punches, except for the one when he entered the door, mostly landed on Nathaniel’s chest and abdomen, because these areas are often the body’s vulnerabilities.

So, the extent of Nathaniel’s injuries was definitely much more severe than Alexander’s.
