They looked up at the chief eunuch to see what he had to say.

"What about you? What do you have to say about your involvement?" He asked without any expression on his face.

The Emperor's face turned red in a second and he stood up, "How dare you! You dare to accuse me of trying to frame my loyal subjects!"

He shouted and the imperial guards moved in and stood in front of the Emperor.

The Emperor knew he had to do something quick to absolve himself from the accusations.

So, he turned and pointed at the chief eunuch and shouted, "The chief eunuch, daring to scheme and frame my loyal subjects, shall be punished to death with dismemberment by five horses! Carry out the sentence immediately!"

"Your Majesty! How can you…"

Imperial guards came up to the chief eunuch and grabbed him by his armpit.

The chief eunuch struggled but he was no match for the imperial guards.

With every passing moment, the chief eunuch knew he was getting closer to his eventual death.

Finally, he couldn't hold it in anymore and he shouted, "You were the one to give me the orders! Where do you think I got all the gold and jewelry from! My pittance of an allowance isn't even enough for a gold bar!"

The officials gasped again as they knew what the chief eunuch said was true.

The Left Prime Minister thought back to when the Emperor requested him to take out a sizable amount from the treasury, but he denied the request.

The doors of the imperial court closed.

Out of the window, Lin Fan saw a white glow engulfing the imperial palace.

Governor Lu quickly got next to Lu Ding.

"Do you know what you are doing! The Quan Dynasty will fall if you kill us all!" The Left Prime Minister shouted at the imperial guards coming at him.

As their swords got closer, Lin Fan with his spear thrust it at the imperial guards.

The slicing wave sliced through the necks of the five imperial guards.

"Thanks." The Left Prime Minister thanked Lin Fan for his help.

But Lin Fan didn't stop, and he got to where the other Qing Feng Sect members were.

With his Celestial Primordial Claws, he ripped the Qi Suppressing bracelets apart for all of them.

"Get rid of the imperial guards!" Zhao Qing Ying said as he sent out a slicing wave with his fingers.

Heads rolled when the slicing wave sliced the heads off the bodies of the imperial guards.

The officials ran towards the doors of the imperial court trying to get out.

But the doors were shut tight, and they could only bang on the door in despair.

"Argh! Help!" Some of the officials were cut down by the imperial guards in cold blood.

Ho Ming picked up two swords from the ground that belonged to the imperial guards.

He didn't have any other choice but to use them.

Zhang Yi Nian was decimating the imperial guards with his punches.

Boom.

Every punch from him turned the imperial guards into a pulp of red mist.

Lin Fan was also overpowering the imperial guards with his Level 9 physique.

Turning to his hammers, he smashed the imperial guards into a pulp of flesh and blood.

Things weren't going too well for the Emperor.

Lin Fan walked up towards the Emperor, but the Emperor gave him a smirk.

"You think I don't have any backups other than the imperial guards?" The Emperor held up a jade pendant and said.

He broke the pendant into halves and the imperial palace shook.

Lin Fan plunged his hammers into the ground to steady himself.

After a moment, a familiar sound erupted in his mind.

[Terminate Guardian Dragon with malevolent intent for 2000 vengeance points.]

Lin Fan heard a loud bang and the wall in front of him came crashing down.

A dragon's head appeared behind the rubble.

Next moment, the dragon opened its mouth, and a burning flame came out of it.

Lin Fan turned into a mist and got out of the way of the flames.

Those that were behind him, however, weren't spared.

The flames engulfed the few officials, and they turned into dark charred corpses immediately.

When Lin Fan appeared again, he thrust his spear at the dragon's head with the Dragon's Roar Thousand Thrust.

The slicing wave sliced into the skin of the dragon's head and wounds appeared.

But to Lin Fan's surprise, the wounds closed and healed immediately.

"Let us handle it!" Zhao Qing Ying and Zhang Yi Nian shouted, and they stood in front of Lin Fan.

Zhao Ming Ye pulled Lin Fan back and said, "The guardian dragon is tied to the formation array.

"It is undefeatable until we destroy the formation array.

"You and Ho Ming go and destroy the tower while we hold the guardian dragon off."

Lin Fan nodded and he glanced over at Ho Ming.

Ho Ming nodded back at him, and they turned back towards the imperial court's door.

"Get out of the way." Lin Fan shouted and the officials blocking his way stepped aside.

Boom!

With a thrust of his spear, the doors were sliced into pieces.

Lin Fan and Ho Ming then got out of the imperial court with the officials trying hard to get out.

"Lu Ding, do what you need to do as planned!" He shouted and he hurriedly got out of the imperial court.
