To their surprise, the flames that would burn their skin and flesh, causing them intense pain were stopped.

An ice wall had appeared in front of them.

They looked around and saw Lin Fan pointing a white colored flag at the ice wall.

Roar.

The guardian dragon gave out a roar and with its long tail, smashed it at the ice wall.

Boom.

The ice wall was smashed into pieces and shards of ice shot at Zhao Qing Ying and Zhang Yi Nian.

Using their arms and Qi, they blocked the shards of ice coming at them.

Lin Fan saw the guardian dragon turn its focus onto him.

It flew at him with an orange glow at its mouth.

Whoosh.

Flames scorched the ground, leaving a trail of burnt marks as the guardian dragon flew closer to Lin Fan.

As the flames got closer, Lin Fan turned into a mist.

Seeing that Lin Fan was now a mist, the guardian dragon stopped and came back down onto the ground.

The guardian dragon landed and shook the ground.

It scanned the surroundings trying to look for Lin Fan.

It didn't take long to figure out as Lin Fan had flown as a mist towards the guardian dragon's head.

Using its front claws, it tried to slash at the mist, trying to stop it.

But it was useless as the slashes couldn't do any harm to the mist.

Finally, Lin Fan appeared again, and he stood at the guardian dragon's nose.

Before the guardian dragon could shake its head to get Lin Fan off, Lin Fan had used his Celestial Primordial Claws and plunged them onto the guardian dragon's nose bridge.

Roar.

The pain caused the guardian dragon to roar out and shake its head vigorously.

It wasn't enough to shake off Lin Fan.

Zhao Qing Ying and Zhang Yi Nian took the opportunity and attacked the guardian dragon at the wounded abdomen.

Lin Fan slowly inched closer to the guardian dragon's eyes.

Climbing with his claws, he finally got right up to the guardian dragon's eyes.

He took out his spear and held it in one hand, and with the other hand, he clawed into the guardian dragon's head.

Bam!

As a desperate measure, the guardian dragon banged its head onto the ground trying to get Lin Fan off.

But it didn't work, Lin Fan clung onto the guardian dragon's head successfully.

And with his spear, he pulled back his arm and injected his Qi into the spear.

Splatter.

When he was ready, he thrust his spear into the guardian dragon's left eye.

The spear plunged into the guardian dragon's left eye and mushy liquid oozed out of it.

With half of the spear inside the guardian dragon's eye, Lin Fan aimed at the end of the spear's shaft.

He gathered all his strength and kicked at the spear's shaft.

Thud.

The kick landed with enormous strength, and it sent the spear tunneling into the guardian dragon's head.

Whoosh.

A silver shimmer came out from the back of the guardian dragon's head.

The spear shot onto the ground and wobbled due to the intense force.

A familiar sound erupted in Lin Fan's mind.

"Do you think the officials from the imperial court would let you off!" Quan Shi crawled back and said.

"Officials? What officials?" Lin Fan shrugged his shoulders and looked around.

There was nothing in the surroundings except a rubble that was formerly the imperial court.

Other than that, no officials were in sight as most of them had perished under the rubble.

"Wait. You don't know what you are doing. I can grant you whatever you want in Quan Dynasty." Quan Shi tried to persuade Lin Fan but to no avail.

When Quan Shi made his decision to frame the Qing Feng Sect, his death was imminent.

There was no turning back.

"You can bring your riches....to hell." Lin Fan said coldly, and he thrust his spear at Quan Shi.

The spear shot out a slicing wave at the Emperor.

Naively, the Emperor thought he could stop it with his arms.

The slicing wave sliced through his arms and straight through the chest of the Emperor.

The upper body of the Emperor dropped onto the ground.

Blood slowly seeped out of the body and a puddle was formed.

Having finished off the Emperor, Lin Fan walked back towards the body of the guardian dragon.

He sliced the abdomen of the guardian dragon open.

Using his hands, he dug into the body of the dragon.

His hands slushed around the organs that were inside of the guardian dragon.

It was after a few moments that he finally touched onto something that was crystal-like.

He grabbed onto the object and with a pull, he yanked it out.

In his hand was a demonic beast core that glowed with an orange glow.

Inside the crystal-like beast core, a dragon's silhouette could be seen flying in it.

Lin Fan kept the demonic beast core in his storage artifact.

"Ming Ye, hang in there. We will get you back to Qing Feng Sect. The Alchemy Peak should have something for you." Zhao Qing Ying had given Zhao Ming Ye a Heavenly Genesis Pill, but it had no effect on his wound.

Lin Fan quickly walked over and gave Zhao Ming Ye a Heavenly Rejuvenate Pill.

It worked a little as they saw the bleeding lessen.

But it was still unable to close up the wound.

Guo He Ru might be able to conjure up something. Lin Fan thought.
