From Human to Skeleton: Revived with Infinite System Crystals

Chapter 690 Whirl wind of Six

The skeletal veins lining Ty's body throbbed with resistance as the black cuffs tightened around his wrists. The faint glow they emitted spread upward, constricting the energy coursing through him. The dark fire that had engulfed his form flickered erratically, its strength dwindling with each passing second. The creature let out a guttural growl, its clawed hands straining against the restraints.

"You think this will stop me?" it snarled, its tone venomous. "You've only delayed the inevitable."

Omina took a step back, her golden aura steady as she studied him with calculated precision. "A delay is all I need," she said simply, her voice calm but firm. "Whatever you are, you're bound to the limits of the body you've stolen."

The creature's ember-like eyes burned brighter for a moment as it glared at her. "You assume too much," it spat, its voice dripping with malice. It twisted sharply, yanking against the cuffs with brute force. The restraint didn't budge, but the effort sent shockwaves rippling through the ground beneath them.

JJ flinched as the energy surged toward her, the pink strand around her wrist flaring in response. Her eyes darted to Ty's restrained form, her heart pounding as she took a hesitant step forward. "Ty… please," she whispered, her voice trembling. "You have to fight it."

The creature's head snapped toward her, its gaze locking onto hers. Its expression twisted into something unrecognizable, a cruel smirk pulling at its lips. "Fight it?" it repeated mockingly. "He's not fighting anything. He's gone, little one." Stay tuned with My Virtual Library Empire

JJ's fists clenched, her pink strand glowing brighter as she stood her ground. "You're lying," she said, her voice steady despite the fear gripping her. "I know he's still in there."

The creature chuckled darkly, its shoulders shaking with the effort. "You're as deluded as he was," it said, its tone sharp and mocking. "But I admire your spirit. It'll make this next part so much more satisfying."

Before anyone could react, the creature moved, its body twisting sharply as it lunged toward JJ. Its clawed hand shot out, closing around her neck with unnerving precision. JJ gasped, her hands clawing at its grip as it lifted her off the ground effortlessly.

What are you doing! "Omina spoke outloud taking a defensive stance

The creature turned its head toward her, its smirk widening. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," it said, its voice cold and measured. It tightened its grip on JJ's throat, the faint glow of her pink strand dimming under the pressure. "Remove these cuffs, or I'll tear her apart right here."

JJ's legs kicked helplessly as she struggled against its hold, her eyes wide with fear but defiant. "Ty…" she choked out, her voice barely audible. "You're… stronger than this."

The creature's laughter filled the battlefield, sharp and biting. "You still don't understand, do you?" it said, its tone dripping with mockery. "He is gone. His soul? Emptied. What you see now is me and only me."@@novelbin@@

JJ's body trembled as her hand reached toward the pink strand glowing faintly around her wrist. Her eyes met the figure before her—Ty's body twisted into something unfamiliar. She shook her head firmly. "No way," she said, her voice straining. "I refuse to believe that. What I've seen him do… I know he's still in there!"

The creature's smirk widened as it raised one hand, its fingers curling slightly before piercing the edge of her skin. A sharp gasp escaped her lips as blood trickled from the shallow wound. It didn't seem to care about her pain, only leaning closer as it turned its head toward Omina.

"Remove these cuffs," it said, its voice low and commanding. "Or she dies right here."

Omina folded her arms, her golden-green aura flickering faintly as she surveyed the scene. Her expression was calm, almost dismissive, as she tilted her head. "Go ahead," she said casually, her lips curling into a faint smile. "Kill her. I was planning to kill her anyway, slowly. I wanted the whole world to watch." She leaned forward slightly, her voice cold. "Afterward, you'll be next. You'll either be put down like the beast you are… or sealed away forever."

The creature's face twisted with annoyance as it tightened its grip on JJ. She flinched, her pink strand flaring momentarily as her hands clawed at his arm, but he didn't relent. His mind raced, the weight of Omina's words clawing at him.

I could snap these cuffs against her head, he thought, his jaw clenching. I can overpower her physically. I could rip her apart and be rid of this game.

The creature raised its free hand, the dark flames beginning to flicker back to life along its fingers. JJ's wide eyes met his, but she didn't cry out—her defiance burned brighter than her fear. "Go ahead, then," she spat, her voice shaking but filled with determination. "Do it. But you won't win."

The flames surged as the creature reared back, its claws poised to strike. But before the blow could land, something shifted in the air—a presence, subtle but undeniable.

A skeletal hand materialized above the creature's head, its jagged fingers curling as though reaching for something unseen. It was not solid, more a construct of energy and will, yet its weight was inarguable. The creature froze mid-motion, its ember-like eyes flickering as the skeletal hand hovered closer.

One bony finger extended, pressing lightly against the creature's raised arm. The force was enough to stop it cold, the flames sputtering out as if snuffed by the hand's mere presence. The creature's head snapped upward, its expression twisted with confusion and frustration.

"What is this?" it hissed, its voice no longer mocking but tinged with an edge of unease.

The skeletal hand didn't respond, but its single extended finger lingered, unmoving. JJ's body sagged slightly as the creature's grip loosened, her pink strand pulsing faintly in response. She stumbled back, her breath ragged as she stared at the spectral form above them.

Omina's smirk faltered as her eyes narrowed, the flickering light of her aura reflecting the tension in her stance. "Interesting," she murmured to herself. "Now this… I didn't expect."
