Chapter 1066: 495 courting death_1 Chapter 1066: 495 courting death_1 The woman, dressed in a red coat, draped her voluminous wavy hair on her shoulders.

A pair of sunglasses perched on her meticulouesly made-up face.

Sporting eight centimeters long boots, the woman sauntered into the villa with grace.

The assistant was nervously observing the surroundings.

After the woman took a couple of steps, she told her assistant, “Wait here at the door.”

Frightened, the assistant reluctantly nodded, “Please come out soon, Miss Han.”

The woman hummed in affirmation, and walked in with a good mood.

Listening carefully, she seemed to be humming a tune from Olivia Wales.

As she pushed open the heavy door of the villa, the woman immediately noticed Alexander White sitting on the sofa.

...

Her gaze scanned the room, her brows reflexively knitting: “Where is she?”

“What’s the rush, Ms.

Hayes, what exactly did you drug her with?”

The man raised his head, allowing Vivian Hayes to take notice of the bruise on his face.

Vivian Hayes laughed and covered her mouth, “The battle seemed intense, I see.

Alexander, though robust, still seems to struggle with some women.”

“Spare the sarcasm, you’ve brought me this problem, so tell me how to solve it”

“What are you afraid of?

Where is she?” Vivian Hayes pulled out a fancy DSLR camera from her limited-edition designer bag.

She quickly set the camera, pointed it towards Alexander White and clicked a picture, nodding with satisfaction.

The atmospheric lighting played well with Alexander White’s somewhat distressed face, giving it a spooky edge.

“You’ve done quite well with this place.

It’s too secretive though and hard to find.

I almost got lost.”

Alexander White chuckled.

The laugh contained a tinge of eeriness which made Vivian Hayes uncomfortable.

She frowned at him.

“I’m asking you, where is she?”

Alexander White observed her gaze.

It didn’t seem normal but Vivian Hayes was far from figuring it out just yet.

After all, Alexander White himself wasn’t normal.

If he’d been, he would not have been roped into this situation.

Alexander pointed at his face: “Though not as valuable as Miss Hayes’ face, it isn’t one to be trifled with.

I have many under my command, how do I earn their respect?”

Vivian Hayes chuckled, “I must admit, I never expected her to be this fierce.

I just used a mild aphrodisiac.

I had even thought about offering her to you if you liked.

Looks like Alexander, you are out of luck.”

Alexander snorted, “If I offered her to you, would you want her?

Why didn’t you tell me that she belongs to The Rintos?”

“This is Lostswa, not Pethkids.” Vivian Hayes reminded him.

“Do you think I, Alexander, should be scared of the nouveau riche from Pethkids?

I have my ways to make her obey me.

Even if she has to compete with me for resources, she needs to be worthy first.” Vivian Hayes laughed coldly.

Alexander questioned, “The Number Five B poison?

You’re a heartless woman.

She’s a delicate doll.

A little punishment would have sufficed, why did you force her to a dead end?”

Vivian Hayes snorted, “I had a great loss at her hands in Pethkids last time.

I must tell you that since my childhood, never have I been so humiliated.

This isn’t the end yet, I want her to know that crossing me, Vivian Hayes, will be the biggest regret of her life.”

After struggling for so long, she had finally climbed up to her current position.

This mindset is similar to a poor person suddenly getting rich and then splurging to make up for the past anxieties.

“Oh right, isn’t this thing considered a banned item?

The police has it under strict control.

How did you manage to get it?

Tell me your secret.”

“Come on, Alexander, don’t joke.

Is there anything that you can’t get a hold of?

These things are common in the black market, with money, anything is possible…” Vivian Hayes paused as she spoke, abruptly stopping mid-sentence as she sensed something was afoot.

She glared at Alexander,”What are you up to?

Bring her to me fast.

I’ll take my pictures and leave.

Not letting people celebrate the New Year’s eve in peace.”

Alexander spit out a mouthful of blood along with a tooth, which landed precisely on Vivian Hayes’ expensive leather boots.

Vivian let out a yelp and quickly stepped back, “You’re disgusting.”

She vigorously shook her foot to shrug off the blood but it clung onto her shoe like an inseparable part, refusing to fall off.

Vivian was on the verge of throwing up.

“Miss Hayes, you better pray for blessings.” Alexander White’s words ended here.

“I’m asking you, where is Aubree Groove?”

“Is Miss Hayes looking for me?” Suddenly a clear and ethereal voice echoed.

The messy lights in the living room went out just as a bright crystal chandelier lit up the room like daylight.

It was so blinding that Vivian Hayes subconsciously raised her hand to shield her eyes.
