Lu Yanchuan’s suggestion earned him a rewarding kiss from Qiao Yi, but then she thought of something and her mood, once lifted, fell again.

“It’s easy to talk about other banquets, but there’s one at the Sun Family tomorrow night, and I really have to go to that one.”

Lu Yanchuan raised an eyebrow; the Lu Family, the Capital City, and the Qiao Family didn’t have much to do with the Sun Family, and if there was any interaction at all, it was a relationship of mutual calculation and competition, so Qiao Yi really didn’t need to force herself for the Sun Family’s banquet.

“It’s Andy–the invitation to the Sun Family banquet was sent by her.”

If it weren’t for Andy’s invitation, Qiao Yi wouldn’t have to attend the Sun Family banquet and could simply pretend not to know about it.
