Chapter 378 369 Get Out of Trouble
The constantly shaking Tyrant I Powered Individual Armor suddenly stood up from the storage box where it had been placed. The battle armor stood up from the box on its own, making the guards watching over these "alien equipments" look completely dumbfounded.
The battle armor, without a wearer, stood there like a headless knight, eerie and terrifying.
The Tyrant I Battle Armor slightly twisted its body and then raised its arm, with a small electromagnetic accelerator gun directly mounted on its left arm.
With only a buzzing sound, the headless battle armor fired two bullets, knocking down two guards before they could react.
The power module on the back of the headless battle armor opened its nozzle, where a pale blue plasma gathered. With a bang, the headless battle armor shot out, directly piercing through the thick walls of the Shelter, arriving in the room where Bai Zhongqi was being held.
The loud noise caused Kou to stumble and fall, while Bai Zhongqi had already been prepared.
The plastic handcuffs binding him were nothing to him; he simply gave a light tug and freed himself. Then, the headless battle armor automatically disassembled into different parts. With the help of adaptive position adjustments, Bai Zhongqi donned the armor.
Bai Zhongqi didn't deny that the Tyrant I Powered Armor, flashy and powerful as it was, actually had little practical use in real combat and was over-complicated and expensive. However, as battle armor for elite personnel and special purposes, the Tyrant I, which could even make the Iron Man armor look less impressive, was quite exceptional.
Kou, unable to get up from the ground, clearly saw from his low angle the terrifying battle armor that had punched through the wall come uncontrolled before the person he had captured, who then stepped into the battle armor and transformed into an extraordinary warrior.
By the time security personnel of the Shelter came rushing in response to the disturbance, the first guard to open the door saw the last expression on Bai Zhongqi's face before the battle armor's visor closed.
A smile.
Bai Zhongqi burst forward, landing a heavy punch on the leading guard who had burst in through the door. The force of the punch was terrifyingly powerful; even as Bai Zhongqi threw the punch, a strong current of air was generated in that instant. The impact of the punch shattered all the internal organs of the guard and flung him back, crashing into the guards behind him, stringing them together against the wall like skewered fruit, all of them killed on the spot by the fearsome penetrating power of that single punch.
There was no mysterious technique involved, just plain brute force.
The strength of an Autochthonous Warrior was already monstrous, and with the augmentation from the armor, the damage inflicted was absolutely terrifying.
Upon seeing this scene, Kou's legs trembled, and he nearly lost control of his bladder.
"What kind of demon have I provoked?" Kou couldn't bear to imagine what fate awaited him for having offended such a person.
In the distant corridor, more security personnel poured in. Although there were strict restrictions on the use of weapons within the Shelter, the threat this time was too great, so all guards raised their guns and fired vigorously at Bai Zhongqi, who was ten meters away.
A barrage of bullets hit Bai Zhongqi's armor, but inside the armor, Bai Zhongqi didn't even hear the ping of the bullets hitting the armor because the armor completely blocked out such sounds.
Seeing that their shooting did no damage to the weird armored figure before them, the guards broke out in a cold sweat and fear rose in their hearts.
Bai Zhongqi made no move to counterattack, then suddenly, with a loud crash, another Autochthonous Warrior burst through the wall on the right side of the group of guards. Wielding arms connected with light blades, he sliced through six or seven Shelter guards at the waist as easily as if chopping vegetables.
Using the same method, Bai Zhongqi successively freed the Battle Armor of five Autochthonous Warriors and then assisted them. When the five Autochthonous Warriors in their Battle Armor appeared in the Shelter, there was nothing that could stop them anymore.
Bai Zhongqi entered another interrogation room and found that the person in charge of the interrogation had already run away, while Nan Ma was still sitting in the middle of the room with a mask over his head, acting as if nothing was wrong.
"Would it kill you to lend a hand?" Bai Zhongqi helplessly reproached the master Star Warrior, who always failed to act in critical moments despite his great ability.
The black hood on Nan Ma's head, as if caught by a gust of wind, slipped off his bald head. Nan Ma effortlessly pulled his hands out of the plastic handcuffs, whistled, and said with a laugh, "If I did too much, wouldn't I steal your thunder?"
Bai Zhongqi wasn't in the mood to argue with him about this and asked, "What about Kou?"
Nan Ma said, "That guy has been gone for a while. When those guys were capturing us, he fooled them. He found a substitute to take his place, while he hid somewhere in the Shelter, completely unnoticed."
He chuckled, "It's very easy for a master Star Warrior to go undetected."

Bai Zhongqi snorted and said, "What about you? Getting captured on purpose just to add to my workload?"
"How would I dare, Chancellor? You were taken away yourself; how could I dare mess with your plans? I just let these guys capture me, and even let the guards beat me up a bit."
Bai Zhongqi didn't believe Nan Ma's nonsense. The five Autochthonous Warriors had already assembled, and their fully armed appearance looked exceptionally formidable. Number One had retrieved his Iridium Star Rifle, and by that time, no one in the Shelter dared to bother them, valuing their own lives.
Number Five hoisted Kou into the air with one hand; Kou, held up by the towering Autochthonous Warrior, kicked his legs like a frail chick.
"Please, spare me, hero, spare me! I was blinded by folly. I shouldn't have offended you," Kou pleaded rapidly.
He didn't have the intelligence to realize that Bai Zhongqi and his companions were extraterrestrial, but he soberly recognized that these people were not to be trifled with, and that crushing him would be as easy as crushing an ant.
Bai Zhongqi Number One didn't even glance at Kou. He casually lifted his rifle, aimed at Kou's abdomen, and fired. A high-energy light beam shot out, vaporizing half of Kou's body. Kou struggled for a few seconds and then completely lost his life.
"Too late," Bai Zhongqi muttered.
Nan Ma, smiling, asked Bai Zhongqi, "Chancellor, now that we've come this far, shall we overthrow the ruling class of this Shelter?"
"It seems we don't have a better choice."
Nan Ma chuckled, "Yeah, and in this scenario, I might even get to sleep with the mayor's daughter."
Bai Zhongqi was at a loss for words, covered his face, and walked away.
What do you think?
