Not until the Spiral Mosquito people crumbled upon witnessing the tri-directional lightning did Xu Lanzhou's commanded Iridium Star Fleet methodically continue to deliver lethal firepower on the enemy.

In the First Universe, the Iridium Star had spent many years transforming itself, forging a more solid military foundation, eventually defeating the Spiral Mosquito people. Now, the people of Iridium Star proved themselves capable of winning once, and they could win a second time.

In fact, Bai Zhongqi could already discern that the technological level of this particular Spiral Mosquito Fleet was definitely not low; it was quite akin to that of the United Empire of Iridium Star, perhaps even slightly superior. However, Iridium Star had already assimilated other advantageous technologies from the Swarm and the Elder Race, making the entire technological plane more balanced.

The Spiral Mosquito people excelled in their navigation capabilities and warplanes. If it hadn't been for Bai Zhongqi insisting on pushing the new generation Weilong IX, early warplanes like the Siren-class would have been at a disadvantage against the Spiral Mosquito warplanes.

One after another, Spiral Mosquito warships were destroyed, unable to escape the relentless pursuit of the ferocious Iridium Star warships. However, some of the Spiral Mosquito warships very cleverly looped towards the nodes of the space-time conduits and entered conduit navigation mode, fleeing for their lives. As for these enemies, Bai Zhongqi did not have a particularly good solution. Since Iridium Star did not possess conduit navigation capabilities, once these Spiral Mosquito warships entered the space-time conduit, Bai Zhongqi could only watch them leave.

Nevertheless, Li Cheng quickly commanded his fleet group to pour a barrage of ammunition frenziedly into the node area, which directly became a graveyard. Those Spiral Mosquito warships rushing to escape into the conduit had to endure such terrifying firepower, and they only had a slim chance of surviving through it.

Meanwhile, the Snow Dragon Alliance fleet was no longer in a hurry to escape. None of the Spiral Mosquito warships had the time to bother them now. The Light Valley Civilization was not a minor force, owning thirty-six Administrative Stars in Sector C, and a standing fleet of over four thousand vessels, always a respected civilization in Sector C. Yet now, facing the colossal entity of Iridium Star, the Light Valley Civilization could only tremble in fear.

Di Maquan was now deeply worried. Even though the Spiral Mosquito civilization had been driven away, the Iridium Star people, far more terrifying than the Spiral Mosquito people, had appeared in Sector C. If they harbored ambitions to dominate Sector C, the Snow Dragon Alliance utterly lacked the capability to repel them.

The Snow Dragon Galaxy in the Third Universe had always been rather isolated, with infrequent exchanges between civilizations, also concentrating within a region. In such an environment, from the Light Valley Civilization, the Zhalan Civilization to those of lower-tier civilizations, they had rarely encountered powerful High-Level Civilizations. Their thinking patterns were static and did not anticipate a day of change.

It was like the people of Earth in the old days, who based on probabilistic studies and astronomical observations, believed that aliens might exist elsewhere, with superior technology. Yet, ordinary people living on Earth would not worry about an alien invasion. But when the aliens truly arrived, all strategies became futile.

Bai Zhongqi wouldn't care about how someone like Di Maquan thought of him. He now ordered Xu Lanzhou, "Begin collecting the debris of the Spiral Mosquito warships; there should be many valuable things to find within them."

Xu Lanzhou immediately responded to the order, as any fleet should have the ability to clean a battlefield, and many even have specialized ships for that purpose. Collecting wreckage of sunken warships allows for analysis of enemy technology, as well as recycling the material for use in atomic substance construction to create new products.

"Your Majesty, we have sunk a total of 3,756 Spiral Mosquito warships. The exact number of enemy ships that escaped into the space-time tunnels is unknown, but it is estimated to be around 1,500," reported an officer.

"An entire fleet group has escaped, these Spiral Mosquitoes have quite the knack for saving their own skins," the commander mused.

Bai Zhongqi didn't dwell on it and smiled, saying, "We've done well in the battle. Although some of our ships have been severely damaged, none were sunk. That's quite an accomplishment."

The larger the scale of the fleet, the smaller its potential losses might be. Warships under heavy attack could choose to retreat or be shielded and covered by friendly ships. Also, the enemies' most fiercely fighting ships tend to be countered first, so large fleets often have better survival rates than smaller ones.

In battle, several hundred fighters were lost, with ten percent of these being manned. Thus, the Iridium Star Fleet did suffer personnel casualties, but compared to the thousands of aviation soldiers, the loss was relatively low.

Pilots are called the bravest space warriors for this very reason. Ship crew enjoy the protection of thick energy shields and armor, while pilots face much greater dangers.

As Bai Zhongqi was preparing to rest, Di Maquan sent a communication to them.

This general from the Light Valley Civilization was very reserved at the moment. Not knowing Bai Zhongqi was aboard, his tone was respectful, addressing Xu Lanzhou.

"General Xu, please allow me to express the Snow Dragon Alliance's highest respects to the United Empire of Iridium Star. Without your forces' intervention, I fear we would have perished here today. Also, I beg your magnanimity for any misunderstandings or disrespect we previously had towards Iridium Star," he said.

After hearing this, Bai Zhongqi slightly smiled and then typed a message to Xu Lanzhou. Xu Lanzhou read it, and then said, "General Di Maquan, Iridium Star aims to defeat the Spiral Mosquito Civilization and protect the peace and stability of the Snow Dragon Galaxy. It is regrettable that the Snow Dragon Alliance was blinded by its own pride, but recognizing reality now is commendable. Iridium Star intends to completely eradicate the threat posed by the Spiral Mosquito Civilization in the Snow Dragon Galaxy, taking the lead in subsequent military actions. As members of the Snow Dragon Galaxy, it is the alliance's duty to contribute. We do not expect you to enter the battlefield given your less than commendable military power, but Iridium Star needs your cooperation in every aspect, including intelligence, materials, and other forms of support."

Upon hearing this, Di Maquan thought to himself that this was good. The decision of Iridium Star to completely destroy the Spiral Mosquito Civilization was favorable to them. And not having to personally fight made the arrangement much more viable. Facing the mighty United Empire of Iridium Star, the Snow Dragon Alliance would definitely have to adjust its policies and not contest for actual control. What concerned him more now was what Iridium Star's views were on the future of the Snow Dragon Civilization after defeating the Spiral Mosquito Civilization.
