But the changes to his Progenitor Flame Abilities, while they felt a bit hard to grasp and intangible to him, the one thing that could be directly seen was how it influenced his control over the Time Rune Lineage.

Before, he could at best see through two iterations of a Rune. But now, he could see through three of them.

This sounded like a small change, but every step forward was exponential. To put this matter into perspective, it took Sylas three attempts to draw the system disruption magic circle the Africor Monarchs used. With this change, it would not only take him just one attempt, but if he were to attempt it a second time, he might be able to progress it from Breath Mastery to Flesh Mastery in a single bound.

Learning such a complex magic circle—not even Rune, but a set of Runes—in two attempts…

It was an asinine change.

Of course, this wasn't just because of the Time Rune Lineage, but rather its potency in combination with Sylas' Rune Spark Mastery. But it could be said that at this level, Sylas could learn almost any F-Grade Rune Legacy nearly instantly to a level its disciples likely took years to reach.

The gap was enormous.
