Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!

Chapter 553 Return And Warm Welcome! [1]

"I am fine. The dragon body kept me safe from any life-threatening injuries; just some of my internal organs suffered a little. This much is fine." Noah smiled warmly as he felt a soul sense scanning his body. He allowed Xin Yan to pass through his defenses and see through his injuries.

After what happened with Long Tian, Xin Yan unknowingly became more possessive and attentive toward the health of those close to her and the people she cared for.

Only after confirming his words did Xin Yan breathe a sigh of relief. Injuries were inevitable in her world, but she did not want Noah to be injured even once. She knew it was impossible, so she asked Noah to let her fight alongside him from now on.

Noah was more than happy to fulfill her wish, but he placed a condition that she would have to train more intensely than before. Noah did not say it out loud, but he loved the feeling of fighting side by side with his women. The feeling of leaving your back to someone else while they did the same was intoxicating for him; it was far better than him protecting them like they were fragile things that could break apart at any time.

'If I treat them like that, they will definitely become those fragile things.' Noah shook his head, pushing those thoughts to the back of his mind before looking at Xin Yan once more, a small smile playing on his lips. "I told you, you're not facing this alone. We're in this together."

Without thinking, Xin Yan threw her arms around Noah, pulling him into a tight embrace. The warmth of his body, the steady beat of his heart, grounded her, reminding her that they had survived—together. "Thank you," she murmured against his shoulder, her voice trembling with emotion.

"Are you really going to ignore me?" Noah felt a finger poking his back as he heard a voice accusing him of neglect.

"How could I?" Noah chuckled lightly before pulling Elysia into the hug as well. Feeling their love and affection for him, Noah couldn't help but plant kisses on their brows one by one, showing his own affection for them.

His actions may have seemed innocent, but they had a deep impact on their hearts, which were only beating for him.

"Let's go back." Although reluctant, Noah pulled back from the intoxicating hug and suggested as he could sense some auras coming in their direction after sensing the power from the previous attack.

"What about her? This might alert those forces about their cult, but it will also make the cult wary toward this empire." Xin Yan immediately deduced what might happen if the people from the empire found Wei Rui's corpse, so she asked Noah with curiosity. Explore more at My Virtual Library Empire

She did not want anything to disrupt their peaceful days, which seemed impossible with the cult constantly at their throats.

Woosh!

With a wave of his hand, Noah threw a small ball of blue flame that swallowed everything in its path. The flames slowly engulfed everything, including the corpses of the other members who followed Wei Rui and the flying artifact, before moving toward the woman herself.

"Let's leave now." Noah didn't spare another glance at her dead body. He took the hands of the women beside him and left immediately.@@novelbin@@

Turning into a streak of dark light, the three of them disappeared into the horizon. Just before they vanished, a small speck of light, invisible to the naked eye, shot toward Noah's ground and attached itself to his robes.

Another, larger, shot in a different direction after the group left.

Not long after everything transpired, a group of powerful cultivators led by the leaders of the most prominent clans of the Feng Empire arrived on the scene, looking around the area with shock on their faces.

"There are no signs of a fight here other than the fire burning on the ground," one of them finally spoke up after carefully inspecting the area.

"I can sense a powerful ice law in the air. The person should be as powerful as us, if not more so." Another one of them chimed in.

"Could they be responsible for the recent vanishing of people in the capital city?" The thought caused their blood to run cold, but no one said anything to refute or agree with the statement.

"We should inform His Majesty immediately." Even though they had stopped the flames from spreading and extinguished them, there was not much evidence left in the area.

Everyone agreed with the suggestion and left some people to guard the area before departing to inform Wuhan.

While the capital was in turmoil, Noah and Xin Yan moved through the familiar boundaries of the array of the Benevolent Guardian Sect, marking their return!

As Noah, Xin Yan, and Elysia crossed the threshold into the Benevolent Guardian Sect, they were greeted by the familiar sight of the sect's towering gates and the lush greenery that surrounded it. The peaceful atmosphere stood in stark contrast to the chaos they had just left behind. The air here was calm, filled with the gentle hum of nature and the faint whispers of disciples going about their daily routines.

Noah felt a sense of relief wash over him as they stepped onto the sect grounds. This place, with its ancient trees and serene courtyards, was more than just a sanctuary—it was home. Although temporarily, this was the place he lived with his loved ones, so this place could be called one of their homes now.

He glanced at Xin Yan and Elysia, who both seemed to relax as well, their earlier tension melting away in the safety of the sect.

Just then, Noah sensed several presences rushing toward them as if sensing their arrival. He moved to remove the mask on his face, returning to his original appearance. His lips curled into a warm smile as he saw someone arrive before them.

"Welcome back to the sect, Aunty Xin Yan, Noah." Ruo'er landed on the ground gracefully as she stored away her flying sword. Even though her expression remained neutral, Noah could sense warmth in her voice.
