Chapter 574 Big Bad....
'And lastly, the reflection of the heart...' Xin Yan smiled softly, looking at the beautiful rose-gold color reaching out to her. 'It amplifies the desires of the heart to accomplish what the user wants, be it cutting or defending.'
'Even though his sword intent follows the principles of the path I want to walk, I will not simply follow his path.' With a single thought, Xin Yan manipulated the sword intent and started to change it to her own liking.
She watched as the rose-gold sword intent in her hand began to change color. The pinkish hue started to grow darker.
An aura of slaughter radiated from her sword intent, but it was nowhere near the level of the Slaughtering Sword intent.
Under Xin Yan's eyes, the red threads fell from her hands back into the water and dispersed, but she showed no emotion as if she had anticipated this.
Her attention shifted to the blue threads that also moved on their own, but unlike the red threads, they started to form braids with her sword intent.
The pink color suddenly turned purple as the golden and blue strands enveloped it from the side. After that was done, the blue threads also fell off along with the rose-gold ones.
'This will be my sword intent.' Xin Yan watched with satisfaction as the mere thread in her hands grew at a very fast rate, taking on the form of a sword.
Everything happened in the blink of a hand...
The moment the sword took form in her hand, Xin Yan took a step forward and slashed down at the stele.
Boom!
As soon as her sword touched the surface of the stele, the area around her trembled uncontrollably.
The stone glowed with purple, blue, and gold colors spreading all around it. The blinding light caught the attention of a few people who were close to finishing their cultivation.
But by the time they looked, the light had died down, and Xin Yan had disappeared, leaving behind a fading stone that shone with beautiful colors around four words...
**Bloody Haze Sword Intent!**@@novelbin@@
"What happened?"
"Which senior managed to cause such a commotion?!"
"From the looks of it, it was a newcomer, and they managed to establish their dao." Those with keen eyes muttered as they saw the stone stele covered with frost vanishing into thin air.
'Bloody Haze, huh? I wonder what kind of dao that is...' One by one, those who had some idea of what happened disappeared to inform their forces of the breaking news.
...
Xin Yan, aware of the trouble she had caused, found herself back in her body in the Benevolent Guardian Sect.
She slowly opened her eyes and looked down at her hands. Slowly, a familiar purple-gold sword with hints of blue manifested in her hands.
Seeing this, her lips curled into a smile.
"Finally! I didn't disappoint you," Xin Yan muttered with emotion, feeling happiness in not letting Noah down more than in her own success.
"You can never disappoint me, Xin Yan." Xin Yan trembled as she turned around. The air tore open as Noah walked out of the void.
Noah walked towards her, glancing at the sword in her hands. His hands moved as they reached for her face, cupping her cheeks. He spoke, "I am proud of you, my dear."
Xin Yan's smile widened as she leaped into his arms, her happiness growing threefold at his comment. "Thank you for setting my heart straight."
She spoke softly, leaning on his chest, "Without you, I might not have been able to reach this level."
Noah patted her head as they stayed in the same position for a while.
"Do you want to go and meet everyone?" Noah spoke, only to see a puzzled look on Xin Yan's face. With a chuckle, he added, "Almost a month has passed since you've been in seclusion."
Noah watched in amusement as Xin Yan's eyes widened in shock. "Did something major happen while I was gone?"
She hurriedly asked, with a hint of panic in her voice. Without waiting for his response, she covered the whole sect with her soul sense.
Noah smiled wryly and let her do it. "I understand what you mean, but they haven't made a move yet."
'But it shouldn't be long now,' Noah added the rest in his mind as he looked in a certain direction, his eyes seeming to pass through the void and landing on a group of dark figures flashing through the forest but keeping their distance.
It was only after hearing Noah's words and seeing everyone in the training grounds unharmed that Xin Yan sighed in relief.
Then she looked at Noah as if he were a monster.
"What's with that look?" Noah rolled his eyes, seeing her expression. Realizing what she was more or less thinking, he couldn't help but pout.
"What should I do if I don't look at a monster like one?" Xin Yan played along and snorted back at him, "Not only did you manage to create your own sword dao out of nothing, but you also managed to do it in one day."
"Even with my talent awakened, it took me a month to do the same thing. Tsk tsk." The more Xin Yan spoke, the more Noah's lips twitched.
"So, I am a monster, huh?"
"A big bad monster." Xin Yan slurred her reply in his ear before yelping in shock and pleasure.
"Then I will act like one," Noah replied before he continued to bite her ear. Xin Yan used her hands to cover her mouth.
She did not want her voice to leak when Noah was tormenting her like this. But to her relief not to mention the hidden disappointment, Noah backed away slowly.

"Go and meet the girls. They were worried about you. Ruo'er missed you a lot." Hearing his words, Xin Yan suppressed her ragged breath/disappointment.
"Let's go and meet them. I'm sure you were inside that pagoda until I ended my seclusion. How long are you going to ignore those girls?" Xin Yan snorted as Noah sighed but followed behind her nonetheless.
What do you think?
