Chapter 582: The True Blood Knights
Lord Kang Zhen's Ivory Gear Shelter was probably the closest ally they had compared to other Neutral Shelters.
The Ivory Gear Shelter was the place where Lysandra bought a large amount of prosthetics to sell globally. Needless to say, both parties earned a huge sum of money in their transactions. Furthermore, the Ivory Gear Shelter also had gunpowder with them and there was no need to explain just how useful this material was.
Thankfully, Shane had a Spirit Vein under his control, so the trading agreement was easily made.
Due to that, requesting reinforcement from Lord Kang Zhen was a lot easier than Shane had thought. He didn't even have to offer a large amount of money. Lord Kang Zhen simply requested that once they were also in trouble, he must immediately send reinforcements to their Neutral Shelter.
That was also the reason why Shane placed a Gate Stone in the Ivory Gear Shelter.
In any case, as soon as the Monk Chaloem and Lord Kang Zhen appeared, the defenders erupted into cheers... There was no doubt that this war was about to end. The strength of these two forces should be more than enough to deal with the Vampires and Zombies!
Just like that, with the addition of the Drakeheart Vanguard's support, the vampires, who had been moments away from overwhelming the Domain, now found themselves facing a revitalized and reinforced enemy.
There was no doubt that the tide of the battle had shifted rapidly.
Travis, who had been tearing through the vampire ranks in draconic form, noticed the new arrivals and grinned.
"About time you showed up…" He muttered as he looked at Monk Chaloem... He knew about Chaloem since one of his Clones had already visited the Springriver Manor and was able to gather information about him.
Furthermore, Shane had informed him beforehand about the other reinforcements he had prepared just in case.
As for Lord Kang Zhen, he was actually quite clueless about him... Shane didn't mention about him at all. However, seeing his clothes and the way he carried himself, he immediately realized that he wasn't a Foreign Survivor like them and he was most likely a recruit or an original resident of this continent.
Monk Chaloem, on the other hand, focused on Statham's presence. Travis was clearing up all Statham's guards so Statham was now quite wide open.
As for the rest, they focused on dealing with the Zombies and the thousands of Vampires attacking them from the sky.
"Prepare the Lightning!"
At this time, Lucas suddenly shouted…
This instruction immediately caught everyone's attention and soon, all the defenders took out their Lightning Talisman, it was the talisman that Aya the Shaman had created!
"Now!"
With a crackling noise, everyone activated their Lightning Talisman!
Boom!
Then, another set of Lightning Talisman was used!
Boom!
They actually brought two Lightning Talismans each. Thanks to that, the momentum of the Zombies and Vampires had completely disappeared!
Furthermore, the Vampires could no longer maintain their flight as they all dropped to the ground.
It doesn't matter if the Vampires still had thousands of them as they were all hit by the lightning strikes from the Talisman!
"Kill!" Shinja shouted as he led the charge against the Zombies and Vampires.
With that, the warriors of the Eclipse Domain sprang into action.
Monk Chaloem also started dealing with all the Vampire Knights surrounding Statham…
Using his incredible Aura, he targeted the Vampire Knights that were just summoned by Statham…
Currently, about 15 Knights were fighting against Travis…
Then, realizing that he was open, Statham called for another 20 Vampire Knights to protect him.
It seemed that he was trying to preserve his Blood Energy and didn't want to fight unless it was a critical battle.
"Alright… Let's finish this thing…" Chaloem muttered as he confirmed that everyone was fighting with all their might.
Lord Kang Zhen, meanwhile, was like a true general…
With his command, his heavily armed soldiers cleaved through vampires and zombies alike.
They were all using enchanted Silver Blades, ensuring that none of the enemies could regenerate at all…
Furthermore, the soldiers under his command were using their formations really well. They moved in unison and were impenetrable as they advanced and retreated together.
Lord Kang Zhen's soldiers were definitely the most disciplined ones they had ever seen!
"As expected from the Neutral Shelter that survived many Zombie Waves… They're really doing well."
The vampires, who had been so confident moments ago, were now on the defensive.
Travis and the Drakeheart Vanguard were also encouraged by the arrival of their allies.
Luka's Dragon's Eye also continued to support his companions, while Ragnar's brute strength crushed any Zombies or Vampires that dared to approach them...
Then, Kendra's Telekinesis continued to create chaos among the enemy ranks…
The battle was chaotic, but everyone could feel the momentum on the defender's side.
"It's going well." Diana commented as she watched the situation.
The zombies, already weakened by their earlier efforts, were now being systematically eradicated. The combined forces of the Eclipse Domain, the Drakeheart Vanguard, Springriver Manor, and Lord Kang Zhen's elite soldiers were too much for the undead to handle.
Statham, who was watching all of this, clenched his fists in frustration.
He couldn't even go to Shinja and convert him into a Vampire as Travis and Chaloem were carefully watching him move.
If he decided to move out of his encirclement, he knew that all these powerful Survivors would trap him.
With their Holy Items, Silver Blades, and Silver Bullets, he would have difficulty coming out unscathed. His plan, so carefully crafted, was falling apart before his eyes.
He expected the arrival of the hidden warriors but he didn't expect that there would be reinforcements coming from behind them. Because of that, it was difficult to advance since they had to worry about their front and back.
In short, his forces had to split into two and this obviously weakened their force…
Nonetheless, he could see that they were still able to kill many of the defenders who were on the walls… With Raizen's lead, they were able to destroy several Automated Turrets, Flamethrowers, and the watchtowers. It cost them dozens of Vampires Knights but it certainly eased their side knowing that the Turrets and Flamethrowers were destroyed.
After accomplishing this task, Raizen immediately flew back to his side, knowing that the Vampire Lord was being targeted.
"This isn't over…" Statham frowned. He was already filled with rage.
He turned to Raizen, who now stood beside him…
"We'll gather the True Blood Knights. We'll end this ourselves."
Raizen nodded... "As you command, my lord."
With that, Raizen made his move and created a Shadow Barrier. This created a dome of darkness that covered Statham…
It was to ensure that Statham would not get interrupted.
Just a few moments inside this barrier, the surrounding temperature suddenly dropped and the ground started trembling beneath their feet.
"Rise, my True Blood Knights."
With this command, the surrounding blood including the spirits of the dead, and the energy of death gathered around him.
A circle of blood-red sigils was then ignited on the ground.
Then, were was a chaotic force that started to swirl, and soon, fifteen figures emerged. They were figures more monstrous than any Vampire Knight.
These were not mere undead.
These were abominations forged from the blood of the zombies, slain warriors, and Statham's own essence.
They do not have visible armor but there was a red miasma being emitted from their bodies… This miasma wouldn't really go too far out of their bodies but it would follow them whenever they moved.
However, they also do not have any swords or shields. Instead, they have sharp claws as their main weapons…
Raizen, standing beside his lord, couldn't help but smirk. This would definitely ease the pressure on their side.
Whoosh~
Suddenly, the barrier he created disappeared as the fifteen figures were revealed for everyone to see.
Statham looked pale because of this as he used a lot of Blood Energy just now. Nonetheless, he was happy with the result.
"Those two… Travis. Chaloem. Kill them."
Whoosh~
The Blood Knights did not speak. They did not roar.
They simply moved.
Five of the Blood Knights attacked Travis… He was already dealing with eleven Vampire Knights and was actually winning. Because of that, they had to arrange five True Blood Knights to deal with him.
"This…" Travis immediately felt a powerful threat coming at him…
As soon as he looked at the source of the threat, he saw a huge claw coming right at his face!
Travis barely dodged, his draconic reflexes saved him as the claw carved a deep fissure into the ground!
Though he felt confident that his scales wouldn't get broken, that would only be the case if he only took a few strikes.
If he would take an attack similar to that, he'd rather prepare for it to counterattack.
"These new guys are fast…" Travis muttered as he unfolded his wings and flew into the air.
But the Blood Knights weren't going to let him escape…
They immediately summoned their bat wings and chased after him…
Normally, he would get disadvantaged fighting in the air since he was alone… However, this was a perfect battlefield for him so his snipers could easily assist him!
Needless to say, Luka, with his Dragon's Eye, was one of them!
What do you think?
