Time continued to pass and in a flash, eight hours passed by as Ethan, along with the Lightning Apes and the Bloodfang Tigers, quickly purified all the Berserk Bloodfang Tigers in the two ravines.

'Ding,

Available Life Points: 4.35 Million.

'Father, Mother, once I return, I will turn you guys into Golden Core Realm Cultivators.'

Looking at the huge number of Life Points, Ethan was excited about his parents becoming Cultivators.

'I need 500,000 Life Points to break through to the Golden Core Realm, using the Godly General Revival Life Card, I have to spend double, which is 1 million Life Points for others.'

'But my parents are not Perfected Foundation Establishment Realm Cultivators. So, I guess it will require at least 100,000 Life Points. In total, I need 1.1 million Life Points each to buy them a Golden Core Realm Cultivation.'

Ethan did the math and to help both his parents, he required 2.2 million Life Points and he had more than enough.

What's more, he had only taken care of two out of five Beast Clans, meaning he could earn another five million Life Points.

Because of this, Ethan was having thoughts of helping his parents turn into Golden Core Realm Cultivators in a single go.

'As of now, I only have one Godly General Revival Life Card but I am very close to gaining Shadow Bee's full loyalty. Upon completing it, I will get another Life Card that can be used for my mother.'

Ethan was not worried about the Godly General Revival Life Cards because he was confident in getting the second card in no time.

"Drez, did something happen while I was purifying the Bloodfang Tigers?"

Once Ethan returned, he indirectly asked Shadow Bee about the sudden loyalty increase.

"Huh? Nothing happened, Master."

Shadow Bee raised his brows as he shook his head, but suddenly, he thought of something and hesitated.

"What is it, Drez?"

Ethan could sense that something had happened from Shadow Bee's hesitation and asked about it.

"M–Master, other than Drez, I have another identity, Shadow Bee, a member of [Eternal Shadow Guild]."

After gritting his teeth, Shadow Bee finally revealed his other identity to Ethan.

"So?"

Ethan calmly asked without any surprise.

"Master…you knew it already?"

Seeing this, Shadow Bee was shocked to learn that his master already knew about his other identity that no one knew.

"Do you think I don't know about it?"

Ethan didn't bother to hide the fact that he already knew about it.

"Huf"

Shadow Bee took a deep breath and explained, "Master, something really happened."

"All cultivators who join the [Eternal Shadow Guild] to become assassins will receive the [Shadow Mark] on their body, which is an unremovable insignia that allows the guild to track them anywhere. Once marked, escape is impossible."

"A member with [Shadow Mark] can't cut their ties with the guild. So far, no one has ever defected and lived to tell the tale."

"Back when my tribe was being massacred, I got a chance to join the [Eternal Shadow Guild] because if anyone kills me, my fellow guild members will take revenge on my behalf, hoping that I can at least bring one member of the Hermit Tribe along with me to the afterlife."

"However, I realized that I was foolish. As a member of the guild, I had to complete at least one mission every week, otherwise, I would receive a penalty, and upon three mission failures, I would be killed."

Shadow Bee revealed his life after the massacre of his tribe, how he lived as an assassin of the [Eternal Shadow Guild], and how he got the name Shadow Bee.

'As expected of a shady organization, not just the rewards, but the penalties are deadly.'

Ethan was not surprised by the deadly penalties of the [Eternal Shadow Guild], and at the same time, he realized the reason why Shadow Bee joined such a shady guild.

When his tribe was massacred, Ethan had just broken through to the Foundation Establishment Realm, and he could be killed easily.

Hence, by joining the [Eternal Shadow Guild], if he was killed by any of the Hermit Tribe Members, his fellow guild members would take revenge for him…of course, not for him, but for the rewards from the guild.

Ethan had personally experienced how dangerous it was to kill a member of the [Eternal Shadow Guild].

"So, are you telling me that after I revived you, the [Shadow Mark] has disappeared from your body?"

Putting aside all the information he gained about the [Eternal Shadow Guild], Ethan looked at Shadow Bee with an excited smile on his face.

Back when he was killed by Shadow Bee outside the Azure Serpent Realm, Ethan checked his killer's information and learned that Shadow Bee was regretting his decision to join the [Eternal Shadow Guild].

So, if the [Shadow Mark] was gone, Shadow Bee would be finally free from the guild, and Ethan could tell this was the reason he received an eight-point increase in Shadow Bee's loyalty.

"Yes, Master.'

Shadow Bee excitedly nodded his head as he continued speaking, "Previously, when I was revived using the Last Breath Totem, the [Shadow Mark] was still present on my body. So, I thought revival wouldn't remove it, but earlier when I sensed it, the [Shadow Mark] had finally disappeared."

"Good."

Ethan nodded his head as he silently thought, 'So, Revival Life Cards have the ability to remove the special insignias from the body, making them more valuable than the special items like Last Breath Totem.'

"By the way, Drez, how did you join the [Eternal Shadow Guild] in the first place?"

In this world, almost all the cultivators knew about the existence of the [Eternal Shadow Guild]; however, almost no one knew how to join it.

So, Ethan was curious about how Drez was able to join it.

"I was scouted by one of the assassins who told me about the [Soul Whisper], that helps in getting revenge against one's killer."

Shadow Bee gritted his teeth as he cursed, 'I was naive to believe such good things existed without a cost.'

"You were scouted?"

Ethan raised his brows as he thought, 'Is it because he is a Heaven's Chosen that he was scouted into such a shady organization?'

'Forget it. Right now, I should focus on getting those last two points of loyalty from him and completing the mission.'

Initially, Ethan had thought of slowly increasing Shadow Bee's loyalty over time; however, with the sudden increase of 8 points and only needing 2 more to complete the mission, he was eager to complete it.

"Shadow Bee, did you prepare enough cultivation resources to break through to the Golden Core Realm?"

Ethan tried one of the ways to increase Shadow Bee's loyalty and took out a Golden Core Pill.

"I have made full preparations for my breakthrough, and I was just stalling for time during this [Beast Extermination Trial]."

Shadow Bee didn't take the Golden Core Pill from Ethan because he already had one in his possession.

'...'

Ethan was speechless at Shadow Bee's wealth as he awkwardly stored the pill back into his storage ring.
