Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1253 Part 1: I almost fell into a trap

From MC's Perspective:

The following day,

After getting out of bed, I began my morning routine. Suddenly, I spotted a cover near the door. My eyes flashed with a glint. It appeared someone had slid it inside.

So far, no one had dared to do anything inside the dorm building. But it looks like that's starting to change. Then I walked over to pick up the cover. I opened it and found a Black Token inside.

There was a weird symbol drawn on it. It was rectangular in shape. Then I saw a letter as well.

I unfolded it and started to read the content. A hint of seriousness appeared in my eyes because the content was too good to believe.

The sender had clues to gravity magic inheritance. But if I wanted them, I needed to go and meet him in person because he wanted something in exchange and couldn't be seen by True Elements Society Wizards.

"Was it bait?" My mouth curved into an arc.

But the token seemed to be genuine.

Then I asked the system in my mind to probe the Black Token.

[Ding! Token Identified]

[Family Token: Contains wisp of space mana]

The mechanical voice sounded in my mind.

The next second, my expression changed drastically. It was the real deal, not a fake one. To think someone sent me a family token of a Space Mage! My heart gripped with terror for a second.

Space magic is completely taboo. Anyone with space magic is usually found in powerful wizard organizations. But this token contained only a wisp of space mana.

The edges of the token were worn out as well. I couldn't help but think it must be some kind of gift to others. The Family Tokens are held by important people.

Since it has a wisp, the possibility of the family existing is quite high. If it does, then this token belongs to either a wizard from that family or is a gift token from someone else.

In either case, it's related to space magic. My heart set off storms. I didn't know what to make of it. The message was clear: the sender doesn't want to see True Elements Society Wizards.

If I tell others, they might follow me. It would be disastrous then. But why does the sender want to meet me? Looking at the token, a strong yearning rose in my heart.

Like space magic, gravity magic relates to the outer sky. Gravity Magic involves some space and time principles as well. The best examples were his Gravity Domain and the Gravity Field of Time Delay Magic Spell.

If I could find resources, my understanding of Gravity Rule Power might increase. When this thought occurred, I couldn't help but want to see this person.

But still, the lingering feeling was there. What if it was bait? I don't think such a good thing would fall into my lap. If it came from Elder Paul Lin or Head Howard, there would be no doubt.

But the sender is an outsider. Then I thought of something important. I have Gregor Mansion. In the worst case, I can use it to hide. More importantly, the sender has already given me benefits. The token itself is a huge thing.

If I could find this family, I might be able to get Gravity Resources.

After a few minutes of thinking, I decided to meet him. Then I looked at the location mentioned in the letter. It was actually far away from the True Elements Society territory.

The place is not even a big city but a small town. I doubt there would be any fast transport facility available to this place. I can only rely on my flight ability to travel.

The time and date were not mentioned. But the sender asked me to visit as soon as possible after getting the letter.

So many things are not adding up. But this one token has suppressed my doubts. After memorizing the location, I put the letter inside the cover before storing it inside the storage bracelet. I looked at the token before putting it inside the system space.

The system space will be the safest place for it.

Then I removed the unnecessary thoughts before going to the bathroom. The bath lasted for 20 minutes. After stepping out, I changed into common wizard clothes, but not the uniform. I have this mask as well, but I will wear it after going outside.

About 30 minutes later,

I left the dorm building and went to the Teleportation Platform. The guards were surprised upon seeing me in normal clothes, but they didn't ask. I told them my destination.

The destination was Verdant City. I would use Verdant City's border to leave the True Elements Society and go to the marked place.

Swoosh!

I stepped inside the platform. The next second, I vanished from the spot. When I opened my eyes, I found myself standing on the platform in Verdant City.

I nodded at the guards before going to the main city.

At the same time, someone from the Bloodline Beast Department had been monitoring the people coming out and going to the Teleportation Platform.

When he saw Vincent Carey, his eyes lit up, and he immediately told the news to Aaron Perry. The sender was none other than Rhys Perry. He was waiting for Vincent Carey in that small town, using Aaron Perry as his eyes.

On the other hand, Aaron Perry completely obeyed Rhys Perry and carried out his task. When he heard Lord Rhys was going to lure out Vincent Carey, he was shocked. He had thought it was not going to work.

But just now he received a call from one of the students saying Vincent Carey had come to Verdant City. He was in total disbelief. He didn't know what Lord Rhys had done.

But they were close to knowing the truth. He had a feeling that Charon Perry's death was related to Vincent Carey as well. So he was happy. As long as this crisis came to an end, he could continue his regular life without worry.@@novelbin@@

After pushing down these thoughts, he left his place and went toward the Teleportation Platform to follow Vincent Carey.
