Chapter 1288 Part 1: Truth comes out!
From MC's Perspective:
In the Gregor Mansion, I activated the Zero Puppet and asked him to identify the design on the gray pouch. The Zero Puppet had knowledge stored due to previous investigations.
"It's the symbol of the Anderson Family," the Zero Puppet said.
Hearing that I felt like a thunderclap striking my head. I had been trying to prove it, but I never expected to succeed this quickly.
So I was inside the Forbidden Pindwood Forest when the realization dawned on me. I let go of previous uncertainty, since I had come here. It was necessary to explore the secret of the place.
This place likely had something to do with Gravity Magic—maybe an inheritance left behind by a predecessor. If I could obtain that, then my journey to the Supreme Wizard would be smooth.
After gaining some clarity in my thoughts, I put the pouch in the system space before going to the control room. When I arrived in front of the Control Mirror, I saw something unbelievable before my eyes.
The skeleton was gone. Rather, dark tentacles had entangled the tree.
"This damn magical creature again," I said with a bitter smile. I had been so close to death earlier. Seeing that the skeleton was nowhere to be seen, I could understand why the system warned me not to touch it.
It must have something to do with a parasitic magical creature. My eyes turned solemn. I wanted to go out and resume exploring, but I was once again being held back by this dangerous magical creature.
I sat in the chair and decided to wait for the magical creature to leave.@@novelbin@@

The Perry Family:
Old man Caleb returned to the Perry Family Estate, but his expression was solemn. He had found a great secret hidden by the True Elements Society.
He expected a great showdown if the secret were exposed. He reached the building and entered inside. Callen was already there waiting for him.
In the whole estate, nobody knew that there was one more Magic Lord in their Perry Family. If they knew, they would be happy.
Callen was relieved upon seeing the Senior coming back.
Caleb sat on the sofa first before looking at Callen. His eyes flashed with a complex glint.
"Senior, what happened?" Callen asked.
From the Senior's expression, he could tell that something had happened.
"I went to meet an evil wizard who has evil prophecy magic," Caleb said in a solemn tone.
"Prophecy?" Callen was taken aback because he knew there were wizards who had awakened such magic, but they were rare in number.
And you didn't easily find one above Mid-Stage. The top existences were hidden from the real world. They could calculate the fate of anything. Their words decided the rise and fall of Wizard Organizations.
They commanded respect no less than that of a Magic Lord. He was truly impressed by old man Caleb's connections. Though he was an Evil Wizard, his magic was real.
After digesting the information, Callen looked at Senior Caleb again.
"Senior, where is my son?" he asked.
Caleb realized it wasn't wise to hide anymore. If anything happened hereafter, it wouldn't be his responsibility. To get an answer from the evil wizard, he had to pay a lot of money.
"I can tell you, but I need resources first. That Evil Wizard took advantage of me. If not for you, I wouldn't have gone there," Caleb said in a solemn tone.
Callen gritted his teeth. He knew there was no free luck. He then took out a brand-new storage bracelet filled with magical resources. Some of them were useful to the Magic Lord.
His heart ached giving it to him, but he had no choice.
Caleb accepted with a smile. He didn't even check it. After storing the bracelet, he then decided to tell him.
"The Evil Wizard told me that your son was still inside that organization. He had never left," Caleb revealed the truth.
Callen's eyes flashed with murderous intent. He didn't have to dwell too much on it.
Ever since he learned about Howard Mason's return, he had started suspecting him. Now it was confirmed that his son was still inside the True Elements Society. There could be only one reason that he was missing, which meant he had been captured by Howard.
"How dare he?" Callen said with hatred.
He had been a sitting duck here. Now that he knew his son's whereabouts, he wanted to barge into the True Elements Society.
He then turned towards Caleb and requested his help once again.
"Alright, I'll come with you. I don't think he can handle both of us," Caleb cracked a grin.
Hearing that, Callen felt relieved. He had been afraid that the old man would ask for another share.
Swoosh!
"Let's go," Caleb said before leaving the building.
Then both of them appeared in mid-air. They exchanged glances before Callen started leading him towards the True Elements Society.
Shortly afterwards, they reached the Main City. Instead of using the platform, they used space to directly appear above the True Elements Society.
This all happened within a few seconds.
From above the clouds, both of them looked down at the ground below. They could see powerful magic formations covering the organization.
"Interesting, it must have been left behind by a powerful Magic Lord," Caleb muttered.

Caleb had wide knowledge. He knew it was not left behind by an ordinary Magic Lord; it must have been someone gifted with Formation Magic.
Callen's face turned ugly. The last time he had tried to break through, his efforts had ended in failure. He was hoping that Senior Caleb would destroy the formations.
"Senior," he called.
"You want me to destroy the formations," Caleb saw through his thoughts.
He smiled and said, "We are here to get back your son. Don't you think it's unnecessary to attack them first? Let's see first whether they agree to give back your son or not."
Hearing that, Callen's face turned ugly. He failed to manipulate Senior Caleb, but Caleb was clever enough to see through his tricks.
He had already gained benefits. He wouldn't be unnecessarily picking fights with the True Elements Society.
What do you think?
