Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1357: Wilfred Cox is waiting patiently!

Rosewood Cafe:

Wilfred Cox thought carefully before looking at him.

"To be honest, I haven't seen him myself. Only Jason Nicholson has seen him. Whenever I tried to meet him, we were told that he was practicing," Wilfred said with a sigh.

Hearing that, Tom Doyle was stunned. He was not expecting to hear such news. He thought Silver Tower Wizard Seeds would have met with the newcomer.

Wilfred Cox was silently observing the reaction of Tom Doyle.

To be honest, he was the one who had spread those rumors about the new wizard seed, Vincent Carey, which had indirectly caused Tom Doyle to challenge Vincent Carey.

If Tom Doyle learned about his scheme, he wouldn't be speaking to him right now.

Tom Doyle quickly changed his opinion of Silver Tower's wizard seeds. He thought they would have already figured it out about the new wizard seed. But now he regrets coming here.

Suddenly, he stood up.

Wilfred Cox's eyes flickered.

"Tom Doyle, what happened?" Wilfred Cox asked.

Tom Doyle's expression turned cold.

He said, "Well, I have come here to learn a few things. But it appears you guys are helpless as well. So I'm going to wait and watch."

Hearing that, Wilfred Cox's face turned ugly. He understood the meaning behind Tom Doyle's words. Tom Doyle wanted infighting to happen first.

Then he would fight against Vincent Carey. His face contorted.

Tom Doyle sneered inside, watching Wilfred Cox's face.

"I'm leaving." After saying that, Tom Doyle left. He had wasted time here.

Smash!

When he was gone, Wilfred crushed the teacup in his hand. He didn't expect to face disrespect here. If not for Tom Doyle's corrosive magic, he would have fought him.

"Damn it!"

"It's all because of the newcomer," Wilfred Cox said.

He then chose to visit the Silver Tower. He thought if he stayed the entire day, he would meet the newcomer. So far, he hadn't thought about this idea.

Now that the black tower guy had insulted him, he couldn't wait any longer to meet the newcomer.

Shortly afterward,

Wilfred Cox left the cafe and used his flying car to travel. But he didn't know someone had seen him leaving. That person was none other than Tom Doyle.

"As expected, he has taken the bait," Tom Doyle grinned.

Now he chose to follow him as well. If the newcomer appeared outside the tower, then he would attack at that time.

His eyes flashed with murderous intent.

...

Silver Tower:

Time passed.

Wilfred Cox arrived at the Silver Tower. He then entered the place and quietly began to wait in the lobby area.

Not long after, Lara came to meet him.

Wilfred's expression turned cold. He knew the manager would try to make him leave. But he was determined this time.

"Wilfred Cox, do you need any help?" Lara asked.

"I'm fine, Manager Lara. You carry on with your work," Wilfred said.

Hearing that, her eyes flashed with a glint. She knew he had come up with some intentions. She couldn't force him to leave.

"Alright, if you need something, you can contact me," Lara uttered before going back to work.

To that, Wilfred smiled coldly. Then he turned on the big screen on the wall. The next second, the live stream of daily news started to play.

On the other hand, Manager Lara quietly returned to her place. Then she contacted Vincent Carey and informed him.

After doing that, she continued with her work.

Outside:

Tom Doyle found a place to quietly monitor the Silver Tower. He was sure that something was going to happen. Either Wilfred Cox would exit the Silver Tower with satisfaction or he could leave with dissatisfaction.

...

From MC's Perspective:

Time went by.

When it was evening, I stopped working. Then I called Manager Lara. I had found one magic artifact during my work. From the shape of the artifact, it appeared to be a compass.

From the shape of the world drawn inside the compass, I didn't know whether to believe it or not because it was unimaginably huge.

I didn't know where to find Magic City on the map. It didn't take long for Manager Lara to arrive at the underground storage room.

She walked into the room. Her gaze immediately fell on the magic artifact on the table. Her eyes lit. The next second, she appeared in front of the table.

She recognized the compass. She took it in her hands and began to inspect it.

"It's an ancient-era compass, but I don't know the exact timeline. But we can say that it's extremely old. You did a good job finding it," Lara said with emotion.

She had never thought an antique piece was hidden in the storage room. It would sell for good money.

She then thought of something important.

"Vincent, one more thing. I don't know why Wilfred Cox has been staying in the lobby since the morning. Maybe he is waiting for you."

"Also, I have told you about your enemy, the Meteor Supreme. He has returned as well. If you wander around the lobby or other floors, you could come across him."

"Remember that guy has the support of a Forbidden Wizard. That Forbidden Wizard is hostile to Lord Charlotte. So you guys are in opposite factions. Be careful," Lara explained.

"Thank you for telling me. I will keep it in mind," I replied.

But I smiled internally. I'm not scared anymore. The new function of the system can block all sorts of illusions and soul magic.

I'm looking forward to testing its function against someone like Wilfred Cox, who has a sub-taboo illusion type magic- Illusion world.

Then we spoke for a few minutes before she took the compass with her. When she was gone, I chose to leave as well.

My plan was to find an item per day. If I wanted, I could appraise more, but I didn't want to do it.

Shortly afterward,

I came to the first floor through the lift. If I wanted, I could directly reach my floor, but I wanted to meet Wilfred Cox. So I stepped out of the elevator and walked toward the lobby area.
