Great Sword Master

Chapter 30: Supreme King-level Bloodline Anomalies

The Huntian Sect is located on Huntian Sacred Mountain.

However, Huntian Sacred Mountain is not just a single mountain; it encompasses many peaks, surrounded by numerous floating islands.

The Fighting Hall stands independently on one of these floating islands.

This island is known as Fighting Floating Island, spanning hundreds of miles, and on the island stands a grand hall, surrounded by massive arenas.

Brilliant rays of light, each a different color, surged forth from all corners of Huntian Sacred Mountain, flying toward the island.

“Brother Yan, you’re here to watch the battle too?”

“The battle between Elder Mo’s disciple and Master Wang’s disciple is certainly worth seeing.”

On Fighting Floating Island, more and more people gathered, their forms surrounded by divine light as they hovered around a massive arena, engaging in conversation.

The sound of chatter grew louder and more vibrant.

In the distance, a patch of black emerged, advancing relentlessly, transforming into a magnificent wave that surged forth, overwhelming all in its path.

The black tide halted outside Fighting Floating Island, and two figures soared out.

“Hahaha, I’ve come!”

Accompanied by a booming laugh that echoed through the heavens, the two figures descended onto the floating island, one of them landing directly on the arena.

“Greetings, Elder Mo…”

Many people immediately bowed to Mo Wusheng, even those who were not from Tiancang Peak.

“Wang Yuandao, I’ve brought my disciple here. You’re not afraid, are you?”

The elder in black robes scanned the area, his eyes radiating a raging light that created an intense sense of pressure among the crowd, and he spoke, his presence exceedingly intimidating.

Suddenly, a surge of astonishing sword intent erupted from the direction of Juejian Peak, seemingly responding to Mo Wusheng. This sword intent was overwhelmingly powerful, sweeping through the air like a divine sword descending, causing the onlookers' expressions to change, tension gripping their bodies as if pierced by a blade.

Even Mo Wusheng, a peak transcendence level powerhouse, couldn’t help but frown slightly.

“Wang Yuandao’s sword intent has indeed grown stronger…”

Mo Wusheng thought, feeling a weight in his heart.

Along with the explosion of sword intent, two beams of sword light shot out from Juejian Peak, like two streaks of lightning slicing through the sky, arriving at Fighting Floating Island.

“Mo Wusheng, are you prepared to endure your disciple’s defeat?”

As the sword light landed, a calm voice followed.

“Greetings, Master Wang.” The crowd bowed once more.

Regardless of how many speculations there were, whether Juejian Peak would eventually be disqualified, one fact remained: Wang Yuandao was still alive, and Juejian Peak still existed.

Juejian Peak remained one of the Seventy-Two Peaks of the Huntian Sect.

Thus, Wang Yuandao, as the peak master of Juejian Peak, was still among the top tiers of the Huntian Sect, deserving of respect and acknowledgment for both his strength and status.

Wang Yuandao nodded in response.

“Wang Yuandao, what gives you the confidence to say that to me?” Mo Wusheng retorted coldly, a smirk on his face.

“Defeated under my sword.” Wang Yuandao's eyes were indifferent as he gazed at Mo Wusheng.

“You failed in your path to harmony.” Mo Wusheng shot back.

“Defeated under my sword.” Wang Yuandao remained emotionless.

“You have less than ten years to live.” Mo Wusheng’s voice grew more urgent.

“Defeated under my sword.” Wang Yuandao’s expression remained unchanged.

“You… you…” Mo Wusheng was nearly exasperated to the point of spitting blood. Suppressing his anger, he took a deep breath. “This battle will mark the beginning of your defeat, Wang Yuandao.”

“We shall see.” A slight smile appeared on Wang Yuandao's face.

The world claimed that his disciple Chen Feng lacked innate anomalies and was an ordinary body, but could it be that being ordinary made one weak?

Not necessarily!

“Is transcendence the only path to harmony?”

“I didn’t expect Master to have failed in his path to harmony...”

Listening to their conversation, Chen Feng felt a mix of amusement and heaviness, realizing the issues concerning his master.

However, he felt powerless.

At his current stage, he was merely a novice martial artist in the Body Refinement Realm.

The realm of transcendence felt far too distant, let alone the realm of harmony above it.

A pair of icy cold eyes bore down on him—Ye Yunqi’s gaze.

“Master, I’m going.” Chen Feng glanced at Ye Yunqi and then looked at Wang Yuandao, speaking with resolve.

Wang Yuandao nodded.

“Chen Feng, good luck!” Li Xinyue immediately encouraged him.

According to the rules, Li Xinyue had to refer to Chen Feng as Senior Brother, but Chen Feng found it awkward. After some negotiation, they agreed she could call him by name instead.

Initially, Yang Tao disagreed; he had taken Li Xinyue as his disciple to accompany Chen Feng and cultivate her as a follower. However, under Chen Feng’s request, he reluctantly agreed.

Chen Feng nodded at Li Xinyue and Yang Tao, then leaped into the air like a great roc, soaring several meters before landing on the arena.

Ye Yunqi’s eyes narrowed.

He could also jump several meters, but that was after cultivating Huntian Power and breaking through to the Tenth Change of Body Refinement.

Could it be…

A bad premonition emerged in Ye Yunqi’s heart.

On the arena, the two figures faced each other, separated by several meters, as countless gazes were drawn to them. Many divine senses hovered in the air, overlooking the arena.

A figure flew out from the Fighting Hall, soaring above the arena.

“I am the master of the Fighting Hall, and I will preside over this duel.” The elder declared: “Both of you are true disciples of the sect and are geniuses in your own right. Therefore, this battle will only determine the victor; do not fight to the death.”

Both Ye Yunqi and Chen Feng displayed a hint of disappointment on their faces.

What they truly desired was to seize this opportunity to eliminate each other.

Especially Ye Yunqi, who had a strong and urgent desire to kill Chen Feng. He had to admit that the waste he once regarded as an ant had grown to a level that posed a threat to him.

And time was short.

If Chen Feng continued to grow, who could predict what would happen in the future?

Because of this, Ye Yunqi felt increasingly wary and was eager to eliminate Chen Feng before he could grow any stronger.

“Even if I can’t kill Chen Feng, I will cripple him.” Ye Yunqi thought to himself, gazing intensely at Chen Feng. “I must strike decisively, leaving him no chance. I’ll use my strongest blow to incapacitate him. If I can kill him in the process, even better.”

“Wang Yuandao, let’s make one thing clear: during the duel between disciples, don't intervene.” Mo Wusheng sneered at Wang Yuandao.

Clearly, he had complete confidence in Ye Yunqi’s strength.

A top-tier king-level bloodline genius against an ordinary body without any anomalies—what could be compared?

Wang Yuandao glanced at Mo Wusheng, a faint smile on his lips, but he didn’t respond. His demeanor was so dismissive that it nearly drove Mo Wusheng to the brink of rage.

“Wang Yuandao, once your disciple is defeated, let’s see how you’ll face me.” Mo Wusheng could only harbor resentment as he thought to himself.

On the arena, Ye Yunqi’s eyes grew increasingly cold.

With a booming sound, he unleashed the power of his tidal bloodline, a powerful force erupting as layers of bloodlight surged from within him, like waves crashing forward, causing his aura to rise rapidly and become overwhelmingly strong. The terrifying pressure spread outwards.

As he circulated Huntian Power, a majestic and domineering might emerged, merging with the aura of his tidal bloodline, enhancing each other.

“Ye Yunqi not only mastered Huntian Power, but he has also completed two refinements. He truly lives up to his reputation as a top-tier king-level bloodline anomaly.”

“The strength brought by the tidal bloodline is immense, similar to Huntian Power, and when combined, they enhance each other. The might of Huntian Power has grown so strong that it can rival a typical three refinements of Huntian Power…”

Feeling Ye Yunqi's steadily rising aura, Chen Feng couldn’t help but show a hint of surprise.

In just three days, not only had his own strength seen tremendous growth, but Ye Yunqi had also undergone significant improvement.

Of course, this was closely related to their innate talent and the resources they had received.

Core disciples, inner sect disciples, and even outer sect disciples couldn’t achieve such a notable increase.

Many hadn’t even reached the Tenth Change of Body Refinement yet.

“Chen Feng, receive my blade!”

Ye Yunqi’s aura reached its peak as he shouted, stepping forward.

The roaring sound of crashing waves echoed in all directions, blood light enveloping him, as if a wild tide was surging towards Chen Feng. Ye Yunqi’s footfalls seemed to tread on the waves, his speed rapidly increasing with every step, propelled by the force of the tidal bloodline.
