Greatest Streamer System

Chapter 492 - 492 – New Capsules Arrives! Playing Rhythm Game!

Usually Streamer Wars were held in a real world, to form bonds between streamers and create a friendly environment, troubles bound to happen.

For example, streamers who were hostile against each other fought before, creating drama that almost made the event get cancelled.

Not only that, there were also problems with a winner from abroad unable to attend the event due to document issues.

Various things appear one after another to the point that the event never ran perfectly without any issues.

This time, the event was especially announced at such a short time so a lot of streamers with full schedules expressed their unavailability to attend in real life.

Hence, this year Streamer Wars was held in the virtual world.

Streamer Wars being near or was held in a different avenue didn't mean that Max's activity changed. He always woke up and checked his email first thing in the morning.

[Greetings, Breeze.

Max sat on his bed, staring at his email.

The invitation had been extended two days before the event started. Under it, an important note that asked him not to distribute the Lobby was written in red letters, warning him not to break their trust in him.

Of course he wouldn't share the link. Each link would have a special url that showed who clicked it.

"Max, did you get the email?"

Showing up from the living room wearing an apron, Lily peered into the bedroom and asked. Her blue eyes stared at Max with a hint of excitement.

"Yeah, I just read it." He answered and rose to his feet, "It seems they settled in the VR world instead of the real world."

"Un. Brother told me that they finished our capsule in time and will send it later so I can use it in the award ceremony."

"Really? They have finished it in time?"

Max was surprised and broke into a smile when Lily nodded. He leaped and hugged her tightly, spinning her in the air.

"Ah!" She exclaimed in surprise when she was lifted into the air.

"Hahaha! I am happy they finished it so soon. That means we can play together again." He laughed happily and put her down, "Should we play something later? We can play an action game that I saved for us."

"Un. Sounds good." She nodded, "I also want to play games with you, Max."

"Then our plan for tonight is settled!" He said, "By the way, what did you cook?"

Hearing the question she wanted to hear, Lily smirked and puffed her chest.

"Chili Oil noodle, one of your favorite dishes."

'Today was the best day ever,' Max thought as he held back the desire to brag about Lily in his social media.

Two capsules arrived that night in Max's apartment. The moving company connected to Spencer Family immediately dismantled the old one they used, putting it away in a box, and installed the new one.

The process only took around 20 minutes, showing their professionalism in work.

White and black capsules with sleek design and comfortable chairs inside. Blue LED light ran through the sides, creating Lily and Breeze letters. There were #1 and #2 numbers beside their name, showing the edition of the capsule.

Of course, Lily was number 1 and Max number 2. There was no way Peter would give Max the first capsule. He made it for his sister, after all.

Anyway, the most important thing was…

"Let's login into my Lobby and install the game. While doing that, we can turn on our livestream and get viewers to join before starting."

"I don't mind." Lily nodded as she entered her capsule, "See you inside."

"See you inside."

As soon as Max entered, he started it and mechanical sounds rang. The capsule worked and the lid slowly closed.

Slowly, he drifted unconscious and delved into the VR world. He sat on his chair and changed the layout slightly to accommodate Lily before inviting her.

A blue light appeared beside him, forming a humanoid figure before Lily's avatar formed clearly. She wore a suit to match him and tied her hair into a ponytail. Then, after looking around, she sat on the chair beside him.

"Have you set your livestream?" Max asked her, to which she nodded in response. "Good, I have also set mine. Let's start the stream and be silent for a minute to confuse them."

"Un."

They both clicked on a button to start their stream and waited in silence.

It was strange for them to be silent the moment their stream started, so their viewers started questioning them in confusion.

— Why are they not speaking?

— Did something happen?

— Hah, is it lagging?

[Viewers: 12,171]

The viewers climbed quickly and it only took less than a minute before the viewer count reached 12 thousand. Max smiled and nodded. He was satisfied with the number of people that came.

"Welcome back everyone!" He greeted and raised a hand to wave, "I know you guys have been waiting for a while, so thank you for your patience! We will now begin the stream!"

Lily smiled beside him and said her greetings, "Hi, I'm Lily."

— Wow, streaming this late? I am surprised.

— Lily and Breeze? What are they doing in his stream?

— Hello Lily! You're always the best!

"Don't worry guys. We have our night free so we decided to stream together." Max briefly explained and continued, "We will play an action game. But not just any action!"

"Un. We will play this one."

Continuing where Max left off, Lily opened a hologram screen showing a game trailer.

In a war torn world where humans had advanced technology, the world turned into a battleground. Humans and their AI fought on the battlefield, using high-tech weaponry and vehicles.

The AIs were the result of human experiments that were made to be used as a tool for their own purpose, but the AIs were sentient and had the capability to feel and think. After a while, the AIs rebelled and wanted their own independence and the war broke out.

The war lasted for years as the humans fought against their creations. Both of them had suffered losses and were losing ground. In order to gain an advantage, the humans made a deal with the betrayer, aliens who offered them technology and resources to fight for their cause.

And then, humanity could fight back with a new weapon.

"Beat Gun!"

— Oooo! A mecha!

— Beat gun! Nice name!

— I love this game. It's very fun

— So a rhythm action game, huh?

— Sounds fun. But you can delete the action and just put a rhythm game, you know?

— Yeah, the action is just the last part. The players only need to shoot and slash the incoming beat.

"Even so, it's still considered an action rhythm game due to the last cutscene. Don't misunderstand it and just follow the game tag."

"Un, it's action. We move our body so it's action!" Lily nodded, supporting Max's claim.

— Well, if Lily said so

— Yes. If she said so, then it's action

— Moving your body in a game is indeed action!

— Eh? But there is a sport

[siaim has been muted for 1 hour. Reason: arguing.]

— No one argues with Lily! (LovelyOtter)

— lololol! Mods are the best!

Ignoring the chat's argument, Max opened the game's launcher and started.

"Well, without further ado, let's start!"

"Let's go!"

[Game Start!]

As soon as the game started, Max's vision was filled with white. Following that, dozens of colors appeared, creating lines in the empty white space. It kept multiplying until he appeared in space, surrounded by aliens that looked similar to crickets.

Their thick, elongated arms were covered in white exoskeleton, with a red line drawn in their bodies. Only the sword in his right hand and the gun in his left could destroy them by following the line drawn in the exoskeleton.

Looking around, he saw a female robot standing next to him. Lily's name hovered above its head, showing that they managed to enter the game together.

"Lily, can you hear me?" Max called out and waved his hand.

In response, the female robot waved back.

"Un, I can. Is this the tutorial?"

"It seems so." He nodded and turned his attention to the floating window before him.

[Multiplayer tutorial!]

[Use your beat sword to slash the red line on the alien and use your beat gun to shoot the red alien to gain points! Follow the song's beat and have fun!]

A simple instruction was written on it. When Max clicked OK, another window popped up.
