They are not exactly demons, but if they succeed, the Lord of Madness will be partially right. It was a thought that made them chuckle.
That entity continued to speak, "The smart thing to do now is to make sure that the Lord of Madness stays dead and is not resurrected. So you must not interfere in the cause and effect of his death. If you do, I will kill you too."
The potential Absolute warned them in a gentle voice that belied the danger of its words, "Don't test me. I have no patience for fools. Now go."
